Dorsey is such a fantastic writer, within detail that doesn’t seem over the top and really helps draw you in. This book is so well done and quick to read. The setting is perfect. His intense background in history and studying the region and wars really helped here. I am a huge fan of his Gateway series, and this was a really cool break from the military nature of his books typically.
