"The Betty Chronicles" is a great edge-of-your-seat read. Mahler keeps the reader fully engaged and guessing all the way through this fast paced trilogy. These novels are populated with people who are beautiful, rich and very dangerous. There are plenty of thrills and cool spy gadgets, but there is also a very dark undercurrent, uncertainty rules the day, and Mahler reveals what just might be the most lethal weapon in the 21st century. These books are also a masterwork of timing and logistics, Mahlers research for the novels is meticulous. READ THIS TRILOGY!

This is third book in The Betty Chronicles. She wants out of Control. She is weary of being a spy and in danger all the time. Is weary of killing. She loves Tom, but he loves Control. In this novel the Cabal is after Betty and she is after them. Have read al three novels and each has more action than the last. Would recommend all you start with first one to know what is going on. Thanks to Mr. Mahler and Goodreads.

This is my best novel yet; of course, I'm biased.
