Debbie Taborn was introduced to the love of books and storytelling at a very young age. Her father, born in New England, told many fascinating tales of his childhood. Her mother an avid reader, worked at the Library of Congress in Washington, D. C. where she visited and
experienced books. Debbie Taborn taught many years in the local elementary schools, as well as initiated reading events for various school programs. Children are her greatest resource of adventurous and interesting stories.

This author loves to listen, tell and read stories, as well as write stories. Debbie Taborn currently lives in Maryland with her family. She enjoys sharing her gift of writing with children and adults all over the world.
