Susanne Lambdin received a 'based in part' screen credit for writing a portion of ST:TNG Eps. 76 entitled FAMILY. Her series, Dead Hearts, is a fantasy/supernatural/horror for young adults. The series of 5 books revolves around a group of teenagers on Pike's Peak fighting zombies, vampires, and demons.

This is the third book and I enjoy every twist and turn of the story Susanne takes the reader on. Her original zombie tail keeps a reader on a roller coaster ride and you never know when the final stop will be. I like the fact she doesn’t follow the typical undead mold and it makes for an exciting read. This edition is the perfect blend of horror and scifi.

I think I'm seriously getting addicted to the Dead Hearts series. Read the first book, Morbid, and really enjoyed it. Read the second book, Forsaken, in 2 days and loved it. This third book? Totally knocked my socks off. So, you got your zombies, your werewolves, your vampires---but now we got time travel and English knights of the realm??? What?

This one went a little slower. it's more because it's post big action so the regrouping is going on but it's is still a good read.

Every monster imaginable!

I am amazed at how much action and imagination that Susanne Lambdin can fit into the pages of a book. Zombies, mutants, cyborgs are just a few of the characters included in this action packed series. There is a combination of religious history and science fiction propelling the story of world destruction and salvation in which a group of teens remain the hero's of the tale.
