His Mother, Queen Nala (evil witch) believes by attempting to force him into accepting Tika as his mate he would never search for the she-wolf she saw in her vision and deems to be a threat .... After months of searching, he finally found her on earth.
Tempest Shellin is a feisty little she-wolf. Her beast is a magnificent, beautiful white wolf with glowing blue eyes. He's watched her from the woods and it's time to meet her. But her Alpha and the pack have no intention of allowing a dragon near her.... this really is a love story. But it's not all hot erotic romance. There are twists that bring heartache, betrayal, trickery, and magic into the fray complete with a very intriguing ending.
I was asked to read this book and post an honest review. This is the first book I've read by this Author but it won't be my last. I thoroughly enjoyed this unique and delicious story. The characters are well developed and the storyline held me from start to finish and left me wanting more. I do recommend it to 18+ due to adult content.

Domlen is a dragon shifter who believes strongly that he should get whatever he wants, whenever he wants it. He won't be denied anything or anyone. When he finds out that a wolf shifter (or a dog as he likes to call them) is meant to be his mate, he refuses to accept that future. He likes a life without amate and with any lovers he chooses to have in his dungeon or bed. It doesn't stop him from wanting to meet her, regardless of the consequences. Tempest has no idea why this dragon shifter is determined to meet her but she wants nothing to do with him. She knows that dragons think they are superior. The attraction between them is something neither of them can deny for long regardless of what they thought they wanted.
Domlen is pure arrogance. He is a Dom who wants to be in control. He wants Tempest as his sub but she is not like the rest. They have this real battle between themselves and with themselves about their feelings for each other.
You can definitely feel the heat when they are together. When they get in the same room, they find it hard to resist the attraction. Their worlds are very different and they struggle with what is the best course of action. His mother is a real piece of work and he and his siblings really have to fight her to be independent and make their own choices.
I like that it is not instant love and you get to see them really deal with the conflicts. They make some choices that could really harm their chance to be together. His sister-in-laws bring some humor to the story as does her alpha's wife.
I have read some of the other books and do recommend the series. It can be read as a standalone but does reference previous books so it is even better when you have read the others.

Domlen Draglen is one sexy domineering dragon, he does not want a mate and certainly, absolutely not a wolf, but his curiosity is awakened when his evil mother the Queen Nala sees one in a vision.
Tempest Shillen has left her family pack because her apha brother tried to mate her with a wolf to cement relations with another pack and joined her cousins pack. Tempest has always been an outspoken sassy BBW and she'll be damned if she is going to let anyone control her life. I guess her mama had a vision of what kind of woman her daughter would turn out to be and named her accordingly. What mama failed to see was that said Tempest would meet her match in stubbornness with Domlen Draglen.
Domlen Draglen swears he never wants a mate, he is quite content having a Giver and his pick of any female he wants, especially with the way his tastes run. His curiosity gets the better of him and he searches for the pup in his mothers vision, what he hadn't counted on was the vision she turns out to be and the sassy mouth on her to boot. Domlen has never turned down a challenge and man does the tempestuous she wolf turn out to be a challenge, but he is stubborn enough see it through.
I loved the sass on Tempest and the way she tore down the macho walls of Domlen on more than one occasion, but will she be able to continue tearing them down, or will she given to his macho ways?

Absolutely delicious!!
I absolutely love this series!!! Domlen is my second favorite out of this series. I love that he thinks he is all that and a bag of chips. Tempest you are by far one of my favorite females so far. Tempest is just a girl trying to live her life. So what she has a wolf inside her it just makes her more awesome. That is until one stuck up self absorb dragon has to threaten her pack to get to meet her. Well she will go and tell that dragon exactly where he can stick his offer. Domlen is use to getting everything he wants and he wants to prove his mother wrong he will not end up with a lowly she wolf. One with a sassy mouth and doesn't no how to control her temper. Omg love this series can't wait for the next book.

In this book we learn more of Domlen's story. He's arrogant,self serving, possessive, and all Alpha Dominance! He's been told by his over-bearing mother Queen Nala that her vision of his future mate is a wolf shifter and she has forbidden him to mate her... And Queen Nala always gets her way. But being forbidden something is the fastest way to make Domlen go looking...
He only wants to find her to see what she looks like...

I was given a complimentary copy of this book to read and this is my honest opinion.
This is the first book i have read of this series and despite the fact that i found it intresting there were some things that really made me not like it that much at the same time.
I would be intrested in reading the rest of the series just to see how it goes but...
In this book we have a main character that is in God Mode and an @sshole!
Also he thinks he is a Dom...He is not!
He doesn't get consent from the person he wants as a sub and also he wants someone as a sub and does things to her without her knowing what BDSM is or what a Dom or a sub is and without having anything to do with it.
At the beginning it seems as he was just being a Dom by himself...then things changed as the female main character started being intrested.
Then we had a whole book taking about the female main characters virginity ...Yes i do get that a womans first time is important but perhaps the author went a bit over head with how important it is.
I am a but unsure of this book...There were many moments i wanted to drop it and i just kept reading only to see how big of an @ss the main character was.
Then we had the secondary male characters that were abusive though not in a physical way but surely emotionally all male characters were abusive up until the main character realised he was in love and actually behaved like a person in love.

OMG, I loved this book. Domlen is the most difficult man/dragon. He is a Dom thru and thru. But he cant seem to figure out and resist Tempest. Tempest is a wolf that has kept hold of her virginity for the right man. I have to say at times, I wanted to punch Domlen in the face for the way he was treating Tempest. But when I read what happens to him when he tries to go to his ex-giver, I was laughing. He deserved it. I thought the other brothers' stories with their Wella was heart tugging but Domlen and Tempest are the best. OMG, I wasn't sure if he was going to wake up and get his head out of his Dragon ass.'
And now that Beauka is missing, we still have more to come. Plus we still have two more brother's to read about along with their crazy but lonely sister. I cant wait for the next book.

This is my first book by this author that I had the honor of listening to on audio book. Luckily for me you can read this series out of order. I devoured it in one day. I enjoyed it so much and now plan to start the series from the beginning. These hunky dragons are quite addicting.
This was one steamy shifter book! Whew, I had to fan myself every time Domlen went all alpha on Tempest. His strong and quite arrogant dragon personality made me want to kick his butt sometimes, but Tempest balanced his intensity out nicely. Her feisty and equally funny qualities made me laugh out loud numerous times. These two together worked amazingly. Who would have thought a dragon and a she wolf would make such a great couple? I loved it!

Great book. I haven't read all of the series and was still able to follow the story with ease. But I plan on reading the previous stories. If they are anything like this one I will love them too.
I'm not sure dragons understand the concept of romance. Domlen definitely doesn't and he will learn it the hard way. Tempest is just that a wolf with an attitude that doesn't take it from anyone. But one very dominant dragon is about to put her in her place. Lots of steamy scenes and some action.

Interesting read. I love shifter books, especially when there's a dragon and wolf. Don't get me wrong, this book has a nice story but it's not for me. The story and the characters are ok, and intriguing. Domlen is an interesting character. I'm not that a fan of both hero and heroine (sorry T_T). Anyway, overall, the story is full of surprises and intense scenes..

Domlen is definitely a Dom and Tempest is a storm when he prefers a calm submissive. Heads bump and both expect to get their own way. Tempest' love of her pack and the hatred wolves have for dragon's makes life hard for Tempest long before she even meets future Mommy-in-law Dearest, Queen Nala!

This is the first Dragelen book I didn't like much. I did enjoy some parts but I just couldn't bring myself to like Domlen and Tempest. It was just always about what he wanted and made sure he got it and she was to be bold and sassy but yet kept yielding to his every demand. I don't know if it was just my mood but for right now it wasn't to my liking.

Wow!! Solease Barner should be a must-read author on every shifter-lover's list! This is the first book I have read in this series, but it surely won't be my last. Ms. Barner brought out so many emotions. I found myself crying, laughing, and cheering throughout the book. The passion in this story was off the charts. I highly recommend this book!

Ok Domlen is not my favorite brother (so far my heart is tabby a certain cupcake loving dude 😍). He is an egotistical, dominating ass but a dang good one!!!!! Loved Solease's latest story was a smoking hot great storyline. Can't wait for her next installment of this awesome series.

Sexy. Scenarios were repetitive. A couple grammar errors side tracked me
I still fell in love with yet another Draglen Brother. Domlen and Tempests story was a tad aggravating though. I rolled my eyes at most of the characters. But I'm a fan of this series and one little wolf and one big dragon won't scare me away.

The dialect is a bit tough to digest, but the characters are easy to fall in love with. I found myself loving the Tempest's sassy mouth throughout the entire book. Between the action and the erotic scenes, if you are looking for a hot, short read, this book will not disappoint!

This was one hell of a ride. Domlen is one sexy and domineering dragon. Temp is one sassy and strong woman. He definitely got his hands full. Their relationship is intense from the start. I can't wait to read what happens next.

Excellent read, dolmen was really up him self until he met the right woman. thank you solease I fell in love with him about 10 pages in cannot wait for the rest of the other brothers.
