Joe had a hard life as a coal miner. This lifestyle had chiseled him into one rough and rugged person. He survived a mining disaster that could’ve ended his life. Later, his bad luck continued as he and a friend got involved in an automobile accident of their own making.
Joe returned to work at the mine where a disaster occurred. He found a mysterious looking box embedded in the coal seam at the site. It turned out to be no ordinary box. Joe enlisted the help of his great Uncle.
Together they are working to unlock the secrets of the box. With the aid of his elderly Uncle Ulus, they unravel some of the mysteries that are packed away inside this ancient box. Joe is given superhuman and godlike powers from the mysterious box in the process.
