"There was still a darkness to Xander that called to me. It wasn’t sinister, and it wasn’t evil. It was an empty place inside both of us, a place that dwelt inside us from the bad things that had happened in our lives. It was a dusky area that only lit up when we were together."

4.5 stars - I thoroughly enjoyed this touching, steamy, beautiful contemporary romance full of heart. This book follows Xander and Samantha, two damaged souls who have experienced a horrific event in their past that has irrevocably changed the course of their lives. This is a story about healing and moving forward in order to find happiness.

I liked absolutely everything about this book! Xander and Sam were beautiful together and they took no time in capturing my heart. I loved watching them getting to know one another, how they learn to battle their demons together and how comfortable they were with each other. The fact that even they realized they could be themselves with each other was huge and proved that when that perfect person comes along it's easy to just be you. Despite the serious issues and moments of tremendous emotion, this story wasn't a sad story. It was a well-balanced story that included a boatload of hope and optimism, super-hot sexy times, and a slew of side characters that added so much to the story but didn't take away from it at all. The characters, both main and supporting, were just perfect. And the sad and heartbreaking times made the good times even better.

"The more he exposed himself to the world, the better he’d become at conquering his reactions. When I looked at him, all I saw was a beloved man who had hit rock bottom, then slowly clawed his way back up again. I loved him for his strength. I loved him for his kindness…. Life completely sucked sometimes, and some people got that more than others. But there were times—like this one—that were made so much sweeter because of all of the pain."

"Knowing her made me start to believe that there was a chance I might be able to function as a normal human being again. “Help me, Sam,” I rasped. “Help me be a better man.”

I cannot recommend this book enough to anyone who enjoys a story that will run you through a myriad of emotions but will leave you sighing happily at the end.

I have really come to enjoy the Sinclair Family. Each story has been unique and I like that. Xander and Sam were perfect for each other. Each enduring traumatic losses. They were able to find healing and peace with each other.

Xander was a broken man. A horrific attack left him a scarred, shell of a man. He turned to alcohol, then drugs. Hitting rock bottom, his brothers pulled him up and made him come home to be with them to get his act together. Little did they know, the woman they hired to clean and cook would manage to start to pull their brother into the light.

Sam had her own demons and guilt. I really liked her. She was strong and compassionate. You knew she had secrets but I knew she had Xander's best interest at heart. She was patient with him and his fragile soul

- no cheating
- no ow/om drama whatsoever
- no on page violence at all and nothing of a sexual nature
-steamy scenes
-secondary characters - we got to see some of our favorite couples a bit. I was disappointed in the set up for Liam and Brooke's book.
- Just ok epilogue. I was glad to have a bit.

The Billionaire’s Secrets was JS Scott’s Sixth Book in the Sinclair series.

Xander Sinclair was a widely successful and popular musician that had tragically lost his parents four years prior in an incident where he was seriously injured and left for dead. Since that time he has spiraled downward with no hope for getting better. His brothers refused to give up and remained supportive. In their latest move, they hired a live in housekeeper and cook, Sam.

Samantha “Sam” Riley needed a break from her life in New York. She agreed to a temporary position in Amesport, Maine for the summer so she could reevaluate her life. She was a mystery at first and it was obvious she had a few secrets.

Xander and Sam were explosive from the start. Scott took us on a journey of healing, trust, forgiveness, hope and love. Scott also threw in a few mild twists within the storyline. It was interesting, captivating and in the end, sweet.

True to form with the series, as a vital part of the storyline, we were blessed with appearances from the Sinclair brothers, Julian and Micah, and their spouses, Kristin and Tessa. Scott also brought Liam Sullivan, Tessa’s brother, into the spotlight with what appeared to be the next story in the series.

In the end, it was well written, well developed and full of dimension and complexity. It was also heartfelt, enjoyable, sexy and entertaining. I’m looking forward to more from Scott.

I didn't like heroine and hero.
What she did was very unethical.
And the hero saying that the women he had slept with before they had always meant something to him put me off the book completely. it doesn't matter he was celibate for years but I hated that line.

They always meant something to me, even if they weren’t a “forever” type of woman. Somehow, I’d always given a little piece of myself to any woman I’d been intimate with before my parents were killed.

I got weird reading vibes right from the beginning when I thought heroine Samantha was probably a psychologist in disguise and she just seemed way too matter-of-fact about everything. Stealth counselling someone seems unethical and likely to cause more harm than good.

The H has all the angst: recovering from addiction and alcoholism, scarred and traumatised and he’s given up his superstar music career.

He’s also living in filth, and Sam is hired to clean his house. And he throws things on the ground. He is A Lot.

And throwing things on the ground reminds me of a really old SNL digital short.

Could not take him seriously.

After an early burst, I’m not getting much chemistry off them, and my point of departure has them snuggled up in the couch watching supernatural. They do nothing but exposition at each other!

So, it could be that Sam is stealth counselling or she could be what she says she is, and I’ll never know.

Or I might, since I’ll go look for spoiler reviews.

Happy Birthday to the ground!

Touching story

Great story of tragedy and healing, it all happened quick and a tad easy, but in a way when someone has it in their mind to get well they will with the right support and love. Sweet read!

The Billionaire’s Secrets is another great addition to The Sinclair series.

This is Xander Sinclair’s book a character I’ve been waiting to read about. Xander’s story is much darker than his brothers and you can feel his agony and pain through the pages. His life was once filled with music and a rock stars lifestyle but a crazed person with an obsession for Xander changed everything. After the horrible murders of his parents that left him scared physically and mentally, Xander turns to drugs and alcohol to help numb the pain he begins to self destruct and cut himself off from everything.

His brothers are not giving up on him, bringing him home to Amesport they are hoping to finally help him get his life back. They hire Samantha for a live in housekeeper and to keep an eye on Xander. Sam is smart, sassy from the minute she walks in the door she doesn’t take Xander’s crap. Sam comes in saying this is what I’m doing, I’m staying and that’s it. Their relationship from the beginning is fiery it’s just what he needs in his life. Both of them have been through a lot, Xander learns about Samantha’s secrets which shocks him. Xander has to figure out, is he going to change his life or keep going down a dark path.

JS Scott does a great job of putting real emotions and feelings into the subject of addiction, and how it feels to deal with the pain of going through it.

FINALLY!

A book about Xander!

I've been waiting for this for like forever it seems. I really wanted to know about what happened to him and his parents since he was the only witness to their death and he almost died that night as well. BUT the twist that the Sam, the new girl visiting the town and supposedly the girl for Xander, was the main reason as to why Xander and his parents were even attacked in the first place was a bomb to my brain. I didn't see that coming at all.

HOWEVER, Sam and Xander were perfect for each other. They definitely complimented each other and helped ease and eventually erase their horrible pasts. They both had great loss in their lives: Xander with his parents, Sam with her entire family.

I loved how this story was written and how they found and healed each other. It was written perfectly and I just loved the happy ending. I'm so happy that all of the Sinclair's found someone to help and heal them somehow. Their perfect half.

I could totally see myself rereading this series again too. Probably soon. Maybe next year. Who knows?!? But I will.

I hope the next book is about Liam, who is Tessa's brother.

WOW!! The Billionaire's Secrets is full of emotions from heartbreaking to passion. J.S. Scott writing always brings me to tears as her characters go through so much in their lives.

Xander, a former rock star has been battling drugs and alcohol for years. His brothers brought him to Amesport after another rehab session. He is angry at himself, the world and wants be left alone.

However, his brothers hired a housekeeper, Samantha to keep an eye out for Xander. Xander wants to throw Samantha out the first time they meet, but his attraction to her is strong.

Samantha on the other hand is a strong and has learned to handle guys like Xander. Samantha holds a secret of her own which could throw Xander for a loop.

Passion, love and secrets all combine for a fascinating book from J.S. Scott.
J.S. Scott takes a modern day problem and turns it into a love story with a HEA.

I highly recommend this book and all of the Sinclair Series as you will fall in love with each character.

The Billionaire's Secrets is the sixth book in the Sinclairs series, and I have anxiously waited on this book. Xander Sinclair, is a broken man, after witnessing the murder of his parents and almost being killed himself, life has changed drastically for this former rock star. He has traded his guitar and fans for alcohol and drugs. Guilt and shame is eating him alive, and all he wants is to be left alone, but his brothers refuse to let that happen. They have had to watch their brother go through enough pain to last a lifetime, and they are tired of wondering when the drugs will finally take him too. The loss of their parents is enough, so once they have Xander at his home in Amesport, they send an intervention to him in the form of a housekeeper named Samantha Riley, and she totally has her work cut out for her. Not only does Xander not clean up after himself, he also doesn't want her there at all, he is angry and not very nice to her. But she doesn't sugarcoat things, Sam is bossy and Xander absolutely hates her optimism, but little does he know that Samantha hasn't always had an easy life, she just chose to deal with the pain in a different way than Xander did.
This is a very emotional book, but also a book filled with hope. Xander's family has always had his back, he was just too angry and bitter to realize that, but now is the time for him to stand up and be a man worthy of their love, but will secrets about Sam send him over the edge again?
This is a great book, about two damaged souls finding their way through life and eventually to one another. Five heartfelt stars for this one, and I highly recommend it to all romance lovers.

Fans of the Sinclair series would be delighted to get their hands in the new story by Bestselling Author J.S. Scott.
It is no surprise why this series have become so popular and why each has been a bestseller on its own right. Jan delivers each with the perfect amount of romance, passion, obsession, drama and sex. They contain the perfect formula to give readers a quick yet comprehensive romantic story with a HEA we all need.

Xander is damaged, he is probably the one who has taken his parents murder the worst out of all his brothers and sadly, because of the life he leads, has fallen into a turbulent path of destruction addicted to drugs and alcohol. After his brothers intervention he complies to go into a rehab facility and once out, their fear of Xander relapsing drives them to hire a live-in housekeeper in an attempt to keep an eye on him.
Samantha arrives to help Xander at his lowest point in his life, the scars and demons which plague him keep him at a distance from everything and everyone. However she is harbouring secrets of her own and as their relationship develops and their feelings become stronger and harder to resist, each question if these will be enough to overcome all obstacles.

In my opinion, The Billionaire's Secrets was an astonishing book. It was heartfelt and it hit a nerve on my personal life. Author J.S. Scott manages to approach a very difficult theme as drug and alcohol addiction in a delicate way, proving once more why she is such a talented writer. I felt so much whilst reading this book I was completely transfixed and it was a tough but rewarding journey knowing Xander and Samantha's story.

A MUST READ !!

The Billionaire's Secrets (The Sinclairs) by J.S. Scott
The Sinclairs are a revelation.  Dogged by tragic mysteries and heartbreaking events within their world of money and power, they remain strong and united in love and faith.  Family till the end.  J.S. Scott can tempt a saint with her fiery stories of courage and intrigue. All heart and sexy as ever, The Billionaire's Secrets is the story of Xander and Samantha. Xander is a  walking tragedy.  Memories of his parents murder and an excessive lifestyle have led him on a downward spiral. Addiction took hold and claimed his soul, can a mysterious employee save him from the darkness?  Samantha is one of the great enigmas of storytelling.  There are so many layers to this woman of mystery. She's hard to figure out, but a puzzle you just can't resist solving.

My favorite one!

Out of all the book in the Sinclair brothers, this was my favorite. Xander and Samantha are two hearts that have been living with guilt that they can't seem to get passed but Xander is destroying himself with drugs and alcohol and Samantha guilt is eating her up. When these two happen to come together they clash because Xander is just lost in anger but he met his match with Samantha. Love it!

The Author took this story to an entirely new level.
It has been proven time and time again that Mrs Scott is an extremely phenomenal writer.
Her genre is classified as romance, erotic, sensual. And a WONDERFUL EXTRA . that takes her stories to fantastic level. She explores every plot with a high level of research as you will attest in Zander and Samantha (Sam ) read. She brought reality into fiction in the most compassionate way possible. Allow me to not only love Zander's read but to never just judge an individual one could possible meet in his situation.
This is not a light read !! I have experienced so many emotions reading about Zander and Sam I will try my very best to give you the reader of my review what Zander's read did for me .
The meeting of Zander and Sam was highly intense. I felt the chemistry from the very beginning even though pretense were running high. She came into his life to right a wrong . And he allowed her into his life to appeased his family . That alone showed me a lightening of compassion these to already have for who they considered friends or in Zander's case family.
Every scene created in Zander's home, neighborhood, travels were so alive and I felt so engaged in the story. It was the perfect literature movie for me as no actual movie could compare. they both has so many issues to their situation to work through as would a person of Zander's labels .
The drugs. The Alcohol, depression, survival guilt. And with it I'm still amazed by the was Mrs Scott found her calm, her zen, her mused that enable her to push through and still provide us with a wonderfully sweet read.
Reading pages 35-40 I encountered all manners of perplexing , anger , sad , hate, happy , joy working through ,, yay you have to read to feel it ,as it travelling through your person. I was angry at Sam. I felt a second of hatred Zander , that quickly turned to love , that how amazing this book is !!!
Still being in that section of the read I felt frustrated and I wanted to fight him , I was too engaged in this amazing read. I had to stop take a deep breath and relax as my emotions were so high. And that is want an excellent writer does for me .
I must also mention a there are a few enjoyable secrets revealed about both Zander and Sam . Be prepared so many fireworks of emotion are going to rise ...
laughter , love , redemption , understanding , anger , forgiveness , more love HEA and a whole lot of tenderness
In conclusion, she nailed my golden reading buzzer again . Leaving me wanting an update I wish for one soon . Pretty please , Mrs Scott . Novella perhaps ?

Thank you
J.S Scott

As a huge fan of JS Scott and her fabulous Billionaire books I couldn't wait for Xander's story to hit my kindle so I can loose myself in another masterpiece of hers. And let me tell you it was worth the wait! The Billionaire's Secrets was everything I was hoping for: heart-warming, deeply touching and absolutely unputdownable! I was intrigued by Xander Sinclair from the the beginning and desperately wanted to know his story in order to understand what made him the man he is now. It broke my heart to see him struggle to get rid of the demons of his past. The kind, loving and compassionate man he once was, was deeply burried behind a huge pile of guilt and self-hatered. I just hoped and prayed that he can find his way out of the darkness!

Still haunted by his parents' murders,  Xander has secluded himself in his Amesport mansion struggling to not relapse after being out of rehab. He believes he's battling his demons alone but he couldn't be more wrong. His brothers still haven't given up on him! In order to hopefully bring him out of his shell they engage a young pretty woman named Samantha as his live-in housekeeper. With her charming and cheerful personality she challenges Xander to abandon his isolation and reclaim his life again. Just when Xander is on the verge of achieving that, he discovers that Samantha has been hiding major things from him that could shatter the future they've begun to build together. For Xander escaping the past is no longer an option. It's time to face it - even when some secrets seem too heavy for the heart to bear...

Xander and Sam made me swoon so hard! I loved them both dearly! They understood each other in a way nobody else ever could. There is simply no better or more powerful cure than love and these two's relationship is a prime example for that. Sam was so patient and understanding with Xander. She could see the real him and loved him despite his flaws. She never cared that he had scars - for her he was a survivor and she loved and admired that about him.

All I can say is that Jan is simply the queen of Billionaire books! Noone writes them as good as her! These sexy, super rich and swoon-worthy Sinclair guys have claimed my heart a long time ago and will forever keep it. I mean - who wouldn't want to be a part of this loving, crazy family? I adore them all and sincerely hope that Jan will give us more books about them in the future. 5 stars

The Billionaire's Secrets is Book 6 in the Sinclair Series.

Xander Sinclair was a Rock Star at the height of his career when tragedy struck that forever changed his life. To escape the reality of his life he escaped into drugs and alchohol. Through it all his brother's, Julian and Micah, never gave up on him. He agrees to go through rehab again and move to Amesport where all three of them have homes. His brother's also hire him a housekeeper, Samantha (Sam) Riley to clean his house and also to make him reconnect to life.

I love the way that Sam has in engaging Xander. He's responding before he even realizes it. She just knows when to push him and when to back off. Through her he's slowly reconnecting with his family and with life.

Unknown to Xander and his brothers their is a underlying reason why Sam agrees to work with Xander. When he finds out will it destroy the relationship they have built? I like that this book has a twist of intrigue.

What I really love about Jan is that she covers some very tough topics in her books. Not only do we see what addiction does to Xander but we also get the bigger picture on how it affects his brothers. Addiction can destroy a family. Time for a family to heal.

Another thing I love about Jan's writing is the amazing sex scenes. She definetly causes drool and sweat.

In this book we catch up with Micah and Julian and their lives, which I think made me connect more with the characters. Love these Sinclair men and their special ladies.

Xander Sinclair had it all, he was a rock star and living the high life. One moment of madness changed his life forever. His parents are gone, he is scarred, has PTSD, is addicted to drugs, and his music is gone. He just wants to be left alone to.....well die. Lucky for him his brothers won't let him go.

Samantha arrives to be Xander's housekeeper...well keeper really. She remembers his music and wants to help him if she can but Samantha has secrets and demons of her own.

Can Samantha and Xander overcome their demons and survive the reveal of all the secrets? Will Xander be able to let go of his demons before its too late.

Up until this book, Evan Sinclair has been my favorite but Xander just ousted him. Xander is broken but still hopeful and I loved seeing him develop in this book. JS does give us few twists but loved them. This is my favorite of the Sinclairs.

Pick it up today!

Samantha and Xander are addicted to love and it’s a  perfect drug of choice! Sam had her reasons for coming to Amesport to cook and clean for less than receptive Xander Sinclair. She knew that it was going to be an uphill battle getting the recluse to let her in both the house and his shell - but she is willing to put in the work. She uniquely knows what he’s going through and wants to see him healed. Xander is clinging to the edge of sobriety bluff for the sake of his brothers. After everything with the murders he just wants to be comfortably numb, but that's apparently no longer an option. When Sam shows up on his doorstep and won't take no for an answer he is thrown. It's like she can't see either the physical or mental scars he so readily has on display. Sam brings to life pieces of the old Xander thought to be lost and creates an even better New Xander with hopes for the future. Now he just needs to convince her this isn't a case of transference but case of HEA.

A ver qué tal...

Book 6 in J.S. Scott’s Sinclair series.
Xander has always struggled with the death of his parents and questions why he survived. As a result he became self destructive and turned to drugs and alcohol to dull the world.
After another rehab try Xander is Home in Maine sober and drug free but his brothers are convinced he’ll stick it out. They hire Samantha to help with house and look after Xander. Xander doesn’t want the complications that Samantha presents but can’t seem to make her leave.
Absolutely great twist with Xander pass as well as Samantha definitely looking forward to more with Liam.
Really liking how the books develop in this series even with so many in it so far not a bad book in any of this writers storyline which can be very difficult with many in series but also different series coming together like the the billionaire and the Sinclair series do.

Fantastic

This book was fantastic as Ms. Scott takes us back to Amesport, ME and the Sinclair Family. After witnessing the murder of his parents as well as dealing with his own injuries after the attack, Xander Sinclair's life has hit rock bottom. After another round of rehab Cancer might be clean but he's not living. His brothers take action and hire someone to care for Xander. He may not want Samantha in his life but she exactly what he needs. Just as much as she needs him!

I highly recommend this book.

5 Candi Kisses and so many secrets!!!!

The long awaited Zander story does not disappoint. Between Zander and Sam there are so many secrets you can put the book down because you can't stop turning the pages. I read this book in about 3 hours total. Love, Love, Loved it.
Catching glimpses of the rest of the Sinclair's was nothing but a bonus. Here hoping Liam is next. I know he is not a Sinclair but I need to know..... Thank you for another fantastic read and I am looking forward to the next.

"The Billionaire's Secrets" (The Sinclairs Book 6) by J. S. Scott is a fantastic read. I loved Xander and Samantha's story. This is an awesome addition to The Sinclairs Series. Packed with romance, passion, overcoming loss and addiction, billionaire's, close families and friends, new beginnings, happily ever afters, and more. I can't wait to see what's next for the Sinclair family. Highly recommend to all fans of romance, families, billionaire's, and series.

This was a definitely emotional story of Xander and Samantha but I loved how they were able to conquer anything that was thrown at them. The chemistry whether it was physical or just being able to talk to one another was mind blowing. I also just love a close knit family that they are there regardless of and that's what true about Sinclair's. Jan continue writing about them.

4 1/2 STRONG STARS

I enjoyed their story. She was able to create a great story while touching on a serious matter that probably affects everyone of us in one way or another. Even if we aren’t aware of it. I’m sure we all know someone who is or has struggled like Xander.

I also can’t wait for Liam’s story. I loved how there was even a chapter that gives us a glimpse of what’s to come. I’m curious about Brooke’s story for sure.

Xander

Xander Sinclair is a junkie/and has hit rock bottom. His family hired Sam as housekeeper life is looking up. A great addition to this series another brother meets his match that will save him.
