This story was actually pretty good. It was well paced, the characters were well written until the call me daddy dialogue started. So I realise that its personal preference, but for me it knocks the rating down a bit because up till that point this author was hitting it out of the park with the perfect balance of good story vs filth!

This book is perfect for St. Patrick's Day! Gavin is so hot, hunky and demanding. Jade is a geeky, naive college girl. With a little luck and a lot of love, they heat up the pages just in time for one of my favorite holidays. It was a great short, steamy read! The insta-love did not work for me in this story. He follows her for less than a week and she knows him for one day. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.

Jade and a couple of friends have been studying abroad in Ireland for a few months. Now it is their last night in Ireland and her friends drag her out to party. Jade is less of a party girl than her friends and more innocent. She never drank until she could legally in Ireland, doesn't do drugs and she is still a virgin. Her friends are trying to get her to try new things but Jade would rather return to her room and read. She leaves her friends behind and tries to get a taxi home. A few weeks later in the US, her friends drag her out drinking again. At the bar a woman comes up to them and says they are too good for this bar and they should check out this club where there are lots of billionaires and celebrities. Jade and her friends agree to go. When they are there, they find out they could auction themselves off for anything from a drink with a club member to anything they will agree too. Jade's family is in financial difficulty so she decides to participate and possibly sell off her troublesome virginity.
Gavin buys her as a sexual slave for one night. Gavin's dad sent him from Ireland to track down the witness who saw him beating up a rival gang member. Gavin is attracted to Jade and wants to protect her. He set up the whole auction thing to help her out financially. Now that he has Jade he has to decide if he is going to protect and be loyal to her or be loyal to his dad.

Sold on St. Patrick’s Day – Juliana Conners
A bit off the wall, this short will have you cheering for the unlikely couple as they discover new things about each other. Extremely fast paced, I would have preferred to read more from this couple. I think this could have been an awesome read if it hadn’t felt so rushed. Even so, it was still a good read.
Jensen: Book 1 in the Bradford Brothers
It’s amazing how a set of circumstances can instigate a change in the lives of those involved, and this story certainly depicts this, as Riley finds herself in what appears to be, a cascading tumble from everything she knows to be her life, to the totally unknown, yet welcome, change that fate would have in store for her. Jensen’s life was sailing along just like he wanted it to be, until he met Riley, that is. And as fate would have it, he needs her just as much as she needs him. The only question now is, will they each be able to discover what it is that they need from the other? Or will they continue on the path of loneliness? An awesome read!
Harlow: Book 2
How things change when you least expect them to. Harlow believes he’s destined to be a bachelor forever, not wanting to take the chance on love, only to “end up like his dad”! But it’s amazing how a certain person can have such an overwhelming effect on just how fast your opinions can change. For some reason, the moment Whitney laid eyes upon Harlow, deep down in her gut, she knew that her life was about to change. She simply didn’t know to what extent, and why! In a dead-end relationship that was going nowhere except to end, fast, she knew it was time she took her life back. All she needed was a subtle push, and it would appear that Harlow was the force behind it. Throw into the mix a greedy doctor with no conscious and a secret agenda, and we’ve got the makings of another awesome read. Looking forward to reading Ramsey’s story now!

The moment Ramsey and Monica’s eyes lock on each other, is the moment both of their lives was about to change, even though neither were ready and willing to accept that fact. Even as both of them fight the not so subtle attraction between them, their hearts reach out and fate stepped in. Both stubborn with way too much pride, neither wanting to be the first to step up and break the ice, leaving each other to suffer the pain of loneliness and longing for each other.
A beautiful story of love and just how easy it is to misunderstand a situation when we stop talking about how we truly feel. I loved this series and hope to be able to read more from this talented author.

I am a big fan of Juliana Conners books. This book is no different. You have 3 young ladies that are in Ireland for 3 months for college and the night before Jade is to return to Boston she see some shady things happening in an alley when she separates from her friends Tessa and Monique. When she gets back to Boston she doesn't say anything to anyone about what she saw but it doesn't haunt her. Jade is 19 years old, doesn't really drink or party and is a virgin. They decide to go out for St. Patricks Day (they have fake id's) and end up meeting a "waitress" that says they shouldn't be at a seedy bar, that she has a place where they can go with billionaires, rock stars and movie stars. When they end up at this club, Jade is up on the stage with men bidding on her. They can bid on a drink, dinner, oral sex or anything they would like and Jade can accept or not. She see's a man at the bar who bids $500,000 for her and there is an instant attraction, even though there are other men betting on her she still wants to be with this man. Gavin is his name and ups his bid to 1 million dollars for her to be his sex slave. She accepts. Gavin has other ideas in mind for Jade, but she doesn't know it yet. You will have to purchase the book to find out. If I told you about everything that happens you wouldn't want to take the time to read it. It's a very quick and sexy read, you will enjoy it. Once they get there, they realize that any & everything can be auctioned off at this club. While thinking about her family's financial problems, she decides to auction off her V-card. Gavin gets the bid at $1 mil for one night, but unbeknownce to Jade, this auction was set up by him to help her financially & because he was sent to find her & get rid of her. His father was the guy she witnessed hitting her other guy in Ireland, but they both fall for each other. Now Gavin must decide, will he protect & save her or follow his dad's instructions?

Juliana Conners excels at hot and steamy stories. This is another great one! Jade was in Ireland for and exchange student program. On her last night there, she accidentally stumbles upon a man being beat in an alley. She runs away and eludes the man who saw her. Back in the US, Jade and her friends went out to the bar. A well dressed lady comes up to them and says that she knows of a better bar with rich men - billionaires, rocks stars and more attend. The girls decide to go and find out that at the Exchange, they can be auctioned off to the highest bidder for companionship. Jade is purchased by Gavin, a hot Irishman. He ends up being the son of the man who she saw beating up another man in Ireland. He had arranged the entire scenario to get Jade there to find out what she knew. He was tired of cleaning up after his father and after meeting Jade, he decided he wanted out of the terrible business his father was in. He and Jade have a steamy, mind blowing session in the private room What will happen next? Grab this book and find out. So worth the read.

The story is not only an erotic adventure but has a bit of suspense added in for good measure.
The two characters each have their own appeal. Gavin a sexy, alpha Irishman who's dad is part of the mob sends Gavin to find out what a girl/ Jade witnessed and if she told anyone her tale. Jade is abroad studying for 3 months in Ireland and the night before she returns home witnesses someone getting beat up. Fear takes hold and she doesn't even share the news with her best friends.
Secondary story is she needs money to help her mom and sister and decides to allow herself to be auctioned off to make that money. Gavin buys her to get the information he wants along with her virginity. Jade finds dominance is her thing and all ends well in the world for our couple. Of course it's not as simple as all that but the author grabs your attention with this short read. Well thought out with interesting characters that offer more than just some very naughty sex.

This is a short instalove storyline that takes about an hour to read. Jade is a self-proclaimed book nerd and good girl. She's a virgin who is happier at home reading than out drinking in the clubs. That is until she hears her friends' stories about how they lost their virginity. Ready to change things for herself she ends up in an auction for her company. Gavin is an Irish billionaire. He's seen Jade and wants her for himself. After winning her what will he do with her? Will she be happy with her decision or think it was a mistake? Will there be hope for a future once they get to know each other?

I have read a few previous works of Juliana Conners and I thoroughly enjoyed them, she has such a way with words and makes her own books stand out. For some reason whenever an author bases their work in Ireland, I know for a fact that I will just love the story, I don’t know why but something about Ireland fascinates me. I’ve never been to Ireland but I just find that place to be pretty relaxing. The characters were so likeable in this book that when I got to the end I wished that there was going to be a follow on book for the Jade and Gavin as I felt that their story had only just began. This is a short, quick fun read, but I guarantee you’ll wish there was more by the time you get to the end of the book.

Although a short story, a novella really it is still a good read. Short and sweet and sexy. The story of Jade, a young student needing some fun in her life. Out with friends one night she witnesses a crime. Few days later she meets Gavin in the Exchange Club, an auction bidding on young women. Is he just bidding on her or are there more secrets going on behind the scenes.
All in all it is a story that makes you want to Reader quickly to dine out what will happen next. Plus loved the little Epilogue at the Christmas Party. Loved it.

This was a quick read. My problem was that it spent more time on Jade's last night in Ireland before she meets Gavin than it did on the relationship between the two. There are 10 chapters plus an epilogue and Gavin doesn't appear until chapter seven. It seems like the set up to a longer story and then the part focusing on their relationship is rushed through. I think about one or two sentences are spent on him taking her virginity. Gavin is never really fleshed out as a character and there are a lot of things left out. It reads like the summary of a longer book that I would like to read.

So Jade he was unlucky enough to be in the wrong place at the wrong time and saw something she shouldnt have seen, Enter mystery man ( Gavin ) that shows up in the auction she is back in Boston and were she will get the money that will help out financially her family.
so the alpha man gets in love with her and that is no good cuz he has a reason to be were he was and might end with both their lifes.... the edition i got 3 bonus books, which include the entire Bradford Brothers Military/ Secret Baby Bad Boy Series: Jensen, Harlow and Ramsey which are good books of alpha boys to read
