I work for the #1 fashion company, Mad Designs, I'm the personal assistant to the CEO, who also happens to be my best friend. Little does my boss know that I am completely and irrevocably in love or lust, or whatever with HIS brother.

Jacob Maddox is hot, and not just hot but mouth-watering sexy, he is melt your panties, fan yourself like a girl with a crush, holy shit he is looking at me kind of hot!
We had an amazing drunken night together and then he acted as if the night never happened. Admittedly, I did too, except now I knew what it was like to have him naked on top of me, talking dirty in my ear and fucking me ten ways to Friday.
So I may or may not have talked a friend of mine to pretend to be my boyfriend. And I may or may not have pretended that the night we shared was long forgotten just as he has. Actually, I’m lying, as he is all that I think about no matter how hard I try not to.
Was I being catty and sneaky, you can say that.
But I've learned that you got to go after what you want, and I want Jacob Maddox like I want to breathe air.

But of course, I found out that he comes with complications.

I am one part of Mad Designs and I’ve got it bad for my brothers best friend. We hooked up several months ago and I’ve tried to push back the feelings that I had for Beth, knowing that I wasn’t the type of guy she needed. My past isn’t pretty, and she knows that. But then she starts dating some jerk and I couldn’t have that.
She thinks that she knows me, from what she has seen, but now it’s time for her to get to know the real me.

But then all sh*t hits the fan and I’m afraid I’m going to lose her after I’ve finally got her.

Froze is the second book in the Melted series by Tarrah Anders, but it’s the first book that I’ve read by this author. I didn’t feel like missing out on the first book hindered my enjoyment of this one at all. If anything, it just made me a little curious about Jacob’s brothers story like any good standalone in a series would do.

 photo 8848374_zpsj8rotjwc.gif

Jacob and Beth hooked up after a party and acted like the whole thing didn’t happen the next day. Despite their show, the two of them couldn’t stop thinking about each other. Jacob is a player, so Beth doesn’t expect him to want anything more from her than what he got. She couldn’t be more wrong. Jacob wants to try to give relationships a shot for her, and he eventually lets her know exactly how he feels. Beth agrees to date him, and things are great from there on out. Well, until he finds out he is legally married to another woman, but hey, that would throw a kink into any relationship. Right?

 photo Shit-just-got-real_zps1nvte8fu.gif

Tarrah Ander’s writing style allowed me to fly through this book in no time at all. I was intrigued about how Jacob’s marriage came to be and their associate’s possible role in it. I never had much doubt about Jacob and Beth being able to weather the storm. The mystery of it all is what captured my attention and held it. I do feel that the story wrapped up a bit too easily, too quickly, and without enough details. Other than that, I enjoyed reading it, and I will definitely try more of Tarrah’s work in the future.

4 can I call you Jake too? stars!

Ok so Jacob & Beth's story was a fun read. I would consider this a sort of second chance romance. Jacob has always been attracted to Beth, and Beth has always had a little crush on Jacob. When they finally act on those feelings its explosive and hot and steamy.... unfortunately Jacob doesn't know how to manage all the feels, so he acts like their night together never happened!

Six months later and things change again. Of course it can't just be easy though! What would be the fun in that? Jacob's partying ways come back to bite him in a pretty surprising way, just as he's deciding to slow down his life and try to get back in Beth's good graces.

Froze was a good read. Well written and kept me interested in seeing where Jacob and Beth's story would end! There is some angst and it is major, but it is resolved without becoming too OTT! This is story is mainly about Jacob and Beth. Having some steamy moments, falling in love, and navigating the hiccups that come in during the growing stages of their relationship! A really good read that if you enjoy contemporary romance you should definitely check out!

I wasn't quite sure what to expect going into this. I haven't read a lot involving the fashion industry, but I'm so glad I tried this out! It was AWESOME! Beth has secretly been in love with her bosses brother, Jacob, for a long time. After a drunken night together celebrating her bosses engagement she's heartbroken that Jacob seems to not care about that night at all. Deciding to make him think she's moved on she pretends to date a friend.

Little does she know, Jacob hasn't moved on and that pretend boyfriend may just push him over the edge! Jacob was so sweet even in his confusion of what his feelings were. Being a true commitment-phobe he had no idea what to do with all these feelings. Watching him figure it out and fall in love with Beth was both hot as hell and adorably sweet. For every steamy moment there was another moment that was so sweet it hurt!

Beth knew what she wanted from the start, she always loved him, but she also learns there's a whole lot to Jacob she never knew. Seeing her discover all these things about the man she thought she knew and falling even harder for him was wonderful! Even when things get messy, and boy do they get messy, these two don't let that stop them. If anything when things got tough, Beth and Jacob got stronger and I absolutely LOVED that!

While I wasn't originally intending to write this story, I couldn't be happier with the results. I fell in love with Jacob and Beth so easily, and I continued to while writing and then reading them. I hope that you guys enjoy this story as well!

Good second chance/ friends to lovers read! I was lost in their story!
.

This is the 2nd book in this series and I was excited to read Jacob's story! Jacob was known to be a partier and womanizer. However, despite his mother's expectations of him showing up at events for their company, he kept a low profile. But then Beth changes the game for him and he doesn't want that to be the case. So we see Jacob struggle to be what he's lead everyone to believe and also have feelings for Beth. Beth may have played a little dirty to get what she wanted, but Jacob finally stepped up and made his move. I enjoyed how Jacob didn't want to just party and hook up with various girls and he had to work on wooing Beth. He had done the exact opposite with her in the beginning and he needed to show her that he cared, that she wasn't like anyone else. I enjoyed their story and their journey and I wasn't expecting the things that happened! I was glued to the book and had to know how things would turn out. This was an interesting read and recommend it! But, I do recommend reading Frozen Over first, as things will be better understood if you start in series order. Happy reading!

Froze by Tarrah Anders

4.5 stars

I received an advanced copy of Froze from the author in exchange for my honest review.

This is book 2 in the series and I was so excited to pick it up as soon as I finished Frozen Over (Book 1). This is Beth and Jacob's story and damn was it good! I fell in love with these characters in book one and was so routing for them! It so incredible when you have a playboy who never wants to settle down until that one women come into the picture. The chemistry was hot and I loved the suspense that was built into this book. Now I need book 3 to answer my questions!

Froze by Tarrah Anders is the second book of The Melted Series. This book is a sweet delicious read. It starts off steamy hot right from the get go. The main characters Jacob and Beth are irresistible, they will positively melt your heart.

Jacob Maddox is rich, handsome, and overly confident. A bachelor who loves to have a good time and shows no inkling of slowing down.

Beth Matthews is young, and beautiful and best friend/PA to Tyson Maddox. Which means she's in close proximity of his brother Jacob. Who also works in the same company for Mad Designs. This wouldn't be a big deal if Beth hadn't been harboring a crush on him for years.

Do you feel the sexual build up?!? Well..
On the night her best friend Tyson Maddox gets married all inhibitions are left behind. Beth and Jacob suddenly end up in her apartment after a few drinks and have an amazing night of wild sex.

Since that night, months have passed and not a word has come across on the subject nor had they had a chance to be alone to discuss it. Making it feel like that night never occurred. But how could Beth forget that night. His touch lingered on her skin and she still remembers him whispering filthy words in her ear. Leaving Beth longing and wanting more. Finding it difficult for her to forget him.

On the other hand Jacob avoids his feelings for Beth. He knows his not the dating type. He can't commit to relationships, they scare him and Beth deserves better.

When Beth starts to date a hot surfer guy. Jacob takes notice and can't help but feel jealous.
This new predicament makes Jacob realize he wants Beth for himself.
Will he make a move and apologize to Beth. And will Jacob take a chance in love?!? Well you will have to read to find out. You won't be disappointed.
Froze is endearing and I absolutely adored it! Taking a chance on love is scary, but worth the risk. And that's exactly what Jacob and Beth do in the novel. They take a chance and allow their heart's to be vulnerable. I definitely recommend reading Froze if you love a sexy sweet romance that will capture your heart in a instant.

Froze by Tarrah Anders a fulfilling four-star read. This is the second book in the Melted series, but each book can be read as a stand-alone. You get more background if you read the first book, but it’s not necessary. I would say that this is suitable for adults only as there are scenes of an adult nature in the book. Tarrah Anders has shown great skill at writing characters that have a depth to them, a reality that you can imagine their lives going ahead and visualise with ease. Even the secondary characters had great qualities to them, meaning you want to hear more about their stories as well.
The storyline was well done and not over the top as seems to have become the way lately, there is a great pace to the story and you will finish it wanting more. The Plot was great and so well done, there are twists that will keep you hooked but not that many that you can’t keep up.
Overall a very well done story, that you would enjoy reading if you gave it a go.

I received an ARC from this author and this is my unbiased review.

This is book two of this series and is best if read after the first! I absolutely loved it just as much, if not more, that book one, Frozen Over!! We meet the brother of the CEO from book one and man, these Maddox boys are amazing!!!! There was even more humor, drama, twists, sexiness, lust, love, anger, hurt, and much more! I loved the characters that we first met in Frozen Over and get to know a lot better now! They are perfect for each other!! Can't wait for the next book in this series!!! 5 STARS FOR THE AMAZING MADDOX BOYS!!!

ARC RECEIVED!!!

Very well written! The storyline was what attracted me in first place, then there was the chemistry like very serious chemistry, I'm talking pot cooking hot chemistry. The kind that gives you stomach butterflies for days. Loved both main characters, although the story needed a bit more challenge to not bore the readers but other than that everything was great. The sex scenes were off the hook hot, this woman can write some great sex scenes. That plot twist was so unpredictable I didn't see it coming though. This was a great story, you'll devour this in one go. Loved it!

Gah! Feel so lucky to have gotten an ARC of this. Great follow up to Frozen Over. Jacob and Beth were so hot and sweet. The FaceTime scene: the new standard. I need more of those! The mystery with Brad was KILLING me at the end and I devoured the last bit.

“It’s been six months since he left the morning after our hook-up. It’s been six
months where he’s acted as if we meant nothing more to another than two professionals who work together. And it’s been six months since I’ve been left with wanting more.”

Froze is the second book in the Melted Series by Tarrah Anders. This story is a contemporary romance, with drama, humour, twists and plenty of HEAT! I loved Frozen (Book One), I loved Beth from the moment we met her and was intrigued by Jacob, and I’m so happy that they got their own book!
Jacob Maddox is the brother of Tyson Maddox (Book One), and helps run Mad Designs alongside Tyson. Jacob is very sexy, rich, and a committed playboy.
Beth Matthews is Tyson Maddox’s best friend and personal assistant. They have been friends since college, and she’s known Jacob almost as long. Beth has had a serious crush on Jacob for almost as long as she’s known him.
A celebration ends with these two sharing a night of passion, but the next day Jacob is gone and in the months since has acted like nothing happened. Beth is hurt and confused, she thought what they shared was special, but it’s like he avoids being alone with her ever since.
Jacob, however knows he’s a bit of a commitment-phobe and thinks Beth deserves better than him. But when a hot guy takes serious interest in Beth, Jacob can’t help but feel overwhelming jealousy. He doesn’t want anyone else dating Beth!
Will this situation finally get Jacob to admit his feelings for Beth? When a weekend in Vegas comes back to haunt him, will the revelations drive a wedge between them?
A great instalment in this fantastic series, I was anticipating this book and Ms. Anders didn’t disappoint.
Now I really can’t wait for the next book in the series- Freezing!

Thank you, Ms. Anders!

Another good book from Tarrah! The characters had great chemistry between them. I have not read Frozen Over (the first book in this series) and I still felt the connection between the main characters in this book and the main characters from book one. Tarrah did an awesome job telling the story of Beth and Jacob; as always, her steamy scenes were HOT. Like wipe the beads of sweat from my forehead, look around the office to make sure no one is looking at me while I read, HOT. Great job Tarrah! Can't wait for more!

This book went above and beyond amazing! I loved the story of Jacob and Beth so much! I'm in tears because the ending was so beautiful! Tarrah did a wonderful job once again at writing a strong story with amazing characters! Beth had a unforgettable night with Jacob and fast forward months later the spark is still there (small but still there). Beth comes up with a way to make Jacob notice her and it works! The story flows so incredible and I just so loved everything about Jacob Maddox! So get read for some drama and whole lotta sexiness!

Froze (The Melted Series Book 2)
Tarrah Anders
5 Stars
Froze is book two of Tarrah Anders’ Melted Series. Froze is about Jacob Maddox and Beth Matthews. Can their crush turn into something more and survive?
“My entire body was dreading the thought of leaving her, being without her, and waking up to an empty bed. I’ve grown accustomed to waking up with her in my arms over the past few days, with her body entwined with mine during the night and then there’s the morning sex. Man, do I absolutely love morning sex.”
Beth Matthews is the Personal Assistant to the CEO Tyson Maddox of Mad Designs. Beth and Tyson have been friends since collage. The first time Beth meet Jacob Maddox; Tyson brother and part owner of Mad Designs, she developed a crush on Jacob. Jacob and Beth had a one-night stand, when Jacob acts as if that night never happened. Beth had an idea, asked a friend to help her with her plan, and was pleasantly surprised by the result. However when something unexpectedly from Jacobs past pops up will she be able to stand the pain it will case?
Jacob Maddox has a one-night stand with his brother’s best friend Beth Matthews, since that day he has not been able to get her out of his head. Jacob does not do long term relationships however he may have found the girl he will give up his playboy ways for. When a weekend in Vegas comes back to haunt him, he cannot believe that life is throwing him this curve ball when he has finally found the women he can see spending forever with. Can he show Beth that his past is in the past and she is the only future he wants and needs?
I gave this book five stars. I enjoyed that Beth can laugh and joke at the rumors about Jacob, Tyson, Allison and herself. However, when Jacob finds out that he is married all the rumors and doubt start to affect Beth more then she wants them to. I can so relate to Beth in this book. She finally gets the man she wants and then the curve balls coming flying at them. I enjoyed this book as much as Frozen Over. Cannot wait to read the third book.

Let me start off by saying that I can't get enough of the Maddox brothers! Just when I thought I couldn't love this series enough, this book has once again proven why I love this series and its irresistible cast of characters. Yet again this author continues to amaze me with her flawless storytelling and captivating characters. Froze was such a highly entertaining and compelling love story that had me hooked from beginning to end. I couldn't get enough of Jacob and Beth! Having read the first book Frozen Over, I was very intrigued by these characters and their tumultuous relationship from the very beginning. Unlike Tyson and Allison, the dynamic between Jacob and Beth was very different and quite entertaining. The chemistry and sexual tension between these two made their story even more compelling. In addition, I loved that fact the we got to see a different side of Jacob than in the first book. I have to admit that I didn't have a very good impression of Jacob in the beginning. But my opinion of him has definitely changed in this book. I got to see a different side of Jacob that I was really not expecting. One of the other things that I loved about this book was the female lead. It was so refreshing to see a strong, confident and hard working heroine in a contemporary romance. Beth and Jacob are such endearing and lovable characters that you can't help in being swept up by their love story. Their journey was such a enjoyable read that I had a very hard putting this book down. Honestly I cannot recommend this book enough! Froze is one friends to lovers romance that shouldn't be missed. And I can't wait for the next installment of this highly addictive series!

I give 5 stars to Frozen written by Tarrah Anders

Book 2 of the Melted series.

This is part of a series but can be read as a standalone. Would highly recommend reading both books as it's a great read and keeps you wanting to know more. Also contains  very steamy sex Scenes. (which i love)

This book is Beth and Jacob’s story they were first introduced in book 1 Frozen over.

Beth works at Mad design which is run by Jacob and his brother Tyson, she has been friends with Jacob for quite some time, when she attends Tysons engagement party she ends up very drunk. One thing leads to another and she ends up spending the night with Jacob.

After a night of drunken passion Jacob leaves without a word and never mentions that night again.

Hurt and confused as to what the hell happened to make him act like such a jerk. Beth makes it her mission to find out his story.

I loved this book had loads of twists and turns within the story which made me love it even more. Another brilliant author to add to my watch list

Jacob Maddox... what is there to say. He's perfect? Stubborn as Hell? Completely lovable? Gods gift to readers? A sweetheart wrapped in a bit of an asshole? Yup! All true.

"What you see isn't what you get."

The most perfect tag line for this story. Everything you were expecting from his story will go out the window and leaving you spinning with how amazing it was. Addicting and endearing is best how I describe this with a dash of surprise and angsty goodness.

The relationship between Jacob and Beth is a relaxing slow burn as well combustibly hot from the first page, literally the first page. Read that prologue and then come back to me, you'll understand what I mean. Their chemistry is off the charts! These two will have you head over heels for them instantly. Froze is an amazing follow up for Frozen Over that stands solidly on its own as a fantastic read! Extremely looking forward to where this series will go from here!

It's been a long time since I read a sequel that was even better than the first. Terrah Anders does it again.
The Maddox brothers are every woman's dream. With this installment showing a completely different side to Jacob Maddox I'm torn between which brother I like more. Beth is also very unexpected and shows that you still get strong female characters.
Terrah Anders knows how to keep you captivated with her characters. What I absolutely loved about the chemistry and the story between Jacob and Beth was that there were some funny and real moments that you can just imagine happening in real life.
Let's just say that I will definitely be recommending this for our next month's Book Club book.

The Melted Series is one of the best series that I’ve read this year. I give it ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ stars overall. I read these books in under two days because I couldn't put them down. Three different but equally amazing stories that absolutely captivated my heart. I loved the difference between each character and each book. I loved how these men fought for love and weren't afraid of showing it. I’m a mega fan of reading books that portray strong female characters and this series shows it in such a beautiful way. Frozen Over and Froze are available now. Freezing will be released January 3th, so make sure you go pre-order it now🚨

Froze by Tarrah Anders is the second book in ‘The Melted Series’. It can be read as a standalone however the main characters are introduced in ‘Frozen Over’ which is book one of the series. To get more of the background story to the main characters (Beth Mathews and Jacob Maddox) it is better to read book one first. There are sex scenes (well written) so I’d recommend the book for adult readers.
Beth Mathews: twenty-something, likes to keep her professional job just that and her personal life clean and private. Her boss is her BFF and has been since college days, but even he doesn’t know she desires (loves) his playboy brother, Jacob. She and Jacob had a one night fling and since then he has tried his hardest to treat her as though she doesn’t exist, but Beth has a plan to find out what he really feels about her. Will it help her win Jacob over or will she have to give up and let her love go?
Jacob Maddox: playboy and director of the family business, he also likes to keep his personal life as private as he can. He doesn’t do relationships, preferring one night stands. He’s deeply attracted to Beth since they hooked up for one night, but he believes she deserves better than him, besides which he’s not totally convinced she and his brother have only ever been ‘just best friends’. When Beth puts her plan into action it leaves Jacob reeling. He has a lot of questions to ask and answers to find before he can come to terms with the strength of his feelings for Beth. Even then he may lose her in the end as his playboy past comes to haunt his present and spoil his future.
As in Frozen Over (Book 1) Tarrah Anders has skilfully created two loveable and likeable characters in Beth and Jacob. The story highlights how misdeeds in your past life along with disloyal and devious people can not only harm your present life but spoil your future hopes and dreams. I was willing these two to make it through all the obstacles to find their HEA. The characters were all multi-dimensional, the storyline was realistic and moved along at a fast pace. I enjoyed this just as much as ‘Frozen Over’ and again I found it hard to put down. I suspect (and hope) there will be a third book in the series that may answer a few questions about Jacob’s cousin. If so I look forward to reading it.
