After thirty years of working with the unemployed, coping with threats, tears and broken lives (and these were only from fellow staff), LV Lloyd decided it was time to make her escape. And what better place to go than the world of m/m romance? She started writing Dangerous Tension, her first ebook in the Aurigan Space Saga, years ago, but put it aside due to work and family commitments. In 2012, she dusted off the foolscap pages stored under her bed, finished the story and turned it into a book. Since then, she has written six more ebooks in the Aurigan Space Saga series, and numerous short stories. Gothic Romance is her first venture into a new genre, Historical Romance. LV Lloyd lives in Adelaide, Australia, with her family and two cats. In her spare time she enjoys fishing and visiting the many local wineries. You can visit her at www.lvlloyd.com
All my stories have some m x m action but none of them are rated "18+"
Low ratings don't necessarily mean the stories were bad. Like with most short stories, there is simply not enough pages. Except for "The Time Labs INC", rather uneventful with a major hole in it. "My Day at the Beach", on the other hand, while the shortest, was perfect and got 5 stars from me.
The Time Labs INC - 2 Major hole in the story where it comes to on-board computer. At least I think there was one, because I skimmed a bit, to be honest (the story was on a boring side).
Tattoo - 2.5 This one was more of a half-concocted plot bunny, rather that an actual story. No real conflict, despite the attempt at one.
My Day at the Beach - 5 Perfection. Painful and sad, but perfection.
Love Spider - 4 Changing POV's were confusing, but on the whole it was fun. Based on a fairy tale.
E-Contact - 4 Although predictable, with - again - changing POVs, it was entertaining of sorts. Wish we knew more about the alien race - good? evil? neutral? But maybe it is just as well 😉
Alien Love Story - 3.75 This was pretty good and I was ready to give it 4 stars, but the ending was scrambled, IMO.
