I found this little book of flash fiction to be very relatable. Meaningless jobs, disturbing dreams, and having nothing left in common with old friends - yep, been there. How did the friends get so old and conventional? A trip to the supermarket is exhausting to think about, and diagnosing alarming symptoms through the internet surely means the worst. It makes perfect sense for razor blades to become our new currency. Unless you belong to the Dollar Shave Club. If a thunderstorm is hiding in your garage, do not allow it to stay. Doesn't it know there's a drought out there? My favorite story was Therapy, which tickled me with its perfect ending. I love the illustrations on the front and back covers of this book. The whole package is a small work of modern art.

”I sit on the edge of the tub with my feet in the water. I splash some water on my legs and begin shaving without any shaving cream or lathered soap. Using the currency to groom myself feel luxurious even if the razor is old and rusty. Those celebrities never lived this posh.”

I’ve never knew that I liked flash fiction until I’ve read C.V. Hunt. It’s like she’s sitting in my brain and saying what a lot of us are thinking. The title is basically my life!!

My favorite story is Therapy. I went back and read it a second time and it makes me laugh and smile every time.

With it's dark, cynical humor, this is a charming and funny chapbook from CV Hunt. Matte cover to layout to binding it is also beautifully made. A pleasure to read.

It's amazing how much a good writer can place in a few lines. I'm not necessarily a fan of flash fiction but more collections as good as this might change my mind.

I had never heard of "flash fiction" before this little book came into my hands. I like the format, but this particular volume isn't my style. Poor Decisions is kind of moody and dark, looking at the experiences of the narrator from a rather depressed and hopeless perspective. With its short passages, Poor Decisions makes me think of a blog written by an angsty teenager.

I'm still trying to decide what I think of this. A very short read. THERAPY was definitely the highlight of the book for me.
