I've been looking forward to read William since the first Northridge Vampire book, and I can say I was so pleasantly surprised. I already suspected he was amazing, but some hints given in previous books about his past left me a bit scared, but there was absolutely no need, because it was clear as day that the heroine was his first true love, overshadowing anyone else. The way he expressed himself left no doubt. He was a true H in every way and swoon worthy with his traditional and caring way! Gabriel is still my fav (I love a tormented hero, lol), but William is a very close second! <3 <3 <3 <3 <3
So this is my favorite to date in this series. I will say though that the delivery of Emily and Drake's baby happens completely different in Gabriel's book than in this one. It was weird and totally confused me. A couple of good beta readers would have caught this mistake. Oh well. I'm still enjoying these as they have instalove, completely dedicated MCs, and they are true mate stories. Once a vampire is turned they lose the ability to get aroused and have sex with anyone other than their mate. I love that there's not a bunch of push/pull with their human mates.
I've been looking forward to Williams book since we met him in drake. I was so happy he found hailey, they are an adorable couple. Looking forward to Michael.
