Sara Page is the Paranormal/Science Fiction alter ego of Contemporary Romance author Izzy Sweet.
Sara Page is a Cincinnati, Ohio gal who loves her football, Cincinnati-style chili, and local ice cream. She writes what she wants to read, steamy science fiction, paranormal and fantasy stories. When she's not writing, Sara is doing her best to keep up with her two boys.
She lives with her two wild children, two fuzzy Shih Tzus and one supportive husband who reads everything she writes.
The world building and heroes were very good in this series. The only problem was the heroine. She was annoying and showed very little to no growth throughout the series. She started off weak and immature and stayed there. What kept me going though was the world building and story were solid.
I voluntarily read this book set for Hidden Gems for my honest review and I am so glad that I did. I will say that it was slowing going, and I was a little hesitant on what I was getting into when I started. But once Ameia and "Beast" meet and start really interacting I couldn't put it down. I loved Ameia in this book. She is strong willed, loves her man then men does what is needed to protect her family. I love that in her. Each man in her life is different but all are on the same page when it comes to protecting her and their family. I really loved this book and couldn't put it down. Will diffidently be looking for this author in the future!
A few simple sentences and my review lost an entire star. Let me skim through the review before I reach the devastating spoiler alert portion.
This series was amazing! The first few chapters are a little slow but nothing too boring. By the time I was 2/3 through of Book One I was hooked and couldn't put it down. I highly suggest you start this book when you have a few days off as you won't want to walk away from it.
*Spoiler Alert*
Everything about this series was a five star until I read the epilogue. The Calling, the unknown element that paired this princess with her men, suddenly vanished after she sacrificed herself. She still had her men, but for others who had yet to find their mates, it no longer existed and everyone was okay with that. The fact that this princess was just now a wife to four men who were with her because they have kids together, and not because she was their mysterious fated, seemed blah; kind of like wearing a sneaker until it no longer causes blisters.
The magical "calling" disappeared, and while I'm sure one could argue and say her men now loved her, you aren't left with that. In a story where two characters fall in love, the Happily Ever After notion is carried away with the reader because you've just read a story where they normally met, grew feelings toward, fell in love, struggled through life and have reached a happy part readers will always remember. In this story it is built up on the premise of fate throwing people together who are destined to be with each other and then at the very end the author rips away that foundation and expects the story to still maintain it's fated, HEA, characters-in-love quality and it doesn't!
If the Calling no longer exists there is no longer anything intriguing about a universe with Ravagers and the entire story foundation crumbles because that means this species of warriors will always remain hardened and uncaring towards possible future mates since that is exactly how they always behaved in the story except towards their Callings. Their race was feared by all and now they will not have any reason to soften towards mates.
Lord have mercy. This series took me ages to finish - mostly because it wasn't that interesting and moved rather slowly (we're talking at a glacial pace). So why finish it, you ask? I have no bloody idea. I think I was just already too deep by the time I decided I'd had enough, and by then it was kinda, sorta starting to get interesting. And then it took a rather severe plummet into Obscureville that it never recovered from. There's no coming back from where this book went. And yet. . . I still. Finished. It. WHY? SMH. Someone please phone child services because this kid has been abused (albeit it's all self-inflicted, but whatever). Why did I subject myself to such atrocities? First, I liked Beast, then I was intrigued by Striker. Then Warrick and Vis come trotting in, and I'm so confused at this point I can't help but watch the disaster unfold. I needed destruction to happen. I just did. That's sick of me, I know. But I really wanted these characters to crash and burn. I wasted two weeks of my life hoping for disaster, and the only thing that was ruined was my faith in humanity.
Everything was just a little too convenient. Show me the pain! Suffering and depression. SOMETHING. And someone please riddle me this: what's so special about Ameia? HUH? WHAT'S HER DAMAGE? Is her vagina encrusted in gold or something? Why are all of these seemingly hot alien dudes lusting after her? She was so dull and so boring, I've taken craps more interesting than her. I wanted her to get annihilated. The writing went from intriguing to awful in a jiffy. Not much was right with this series. I wouldn't waste my time on it, unless you are in the mood to watch your brain cells deplete with every page turned.
Such a weak heroine. I kept wanting to slap her. Great writing style, it flowed wonderfully. I would have given 5 stars but the heroines lack of a backbone made it really hard to stomach these books.
SEXY, FUN-FILLED SCI-FI ROMP !!! Title: The Raver Chronicles: The Complete Series Author: Sara Page Designation: Full-Length Standalone Sci-Fi Romance, NO Cliffhanger, Complete Series Box Set, Includes Books 1 through 4 (1: Princess SOS, 2: The Dark Princes, 3: The Other Side, 4: Queen of the Ravagers) Reading Platform: Kindle Unlimited My Rating: FIVE Delightfully Entertaining Stars***** Oh my! Oh my! Oh my! I loved, loved, loved The Ravager Chronicles! This was my first time reading the work of Sara Page but it certainly won't be my last! I completely fell in love with Page's easy to follow style and perfect melodic prose. So, how can prose be melodic, you ask? Well, for me, it happens when the words of a story turn into a beautiful song. I hear a melody of words composed of the perfect combination of notes that can be described as sexy, sweet, seductive, sensual, steamy, romantic, funny and serious. And this story had it all along with a whole lot more! There was action, adventure, angst, heartache, loss, wicked enemies and plot twists galore! OMG! I was totally captivated, riveted to my seat, white knuckling my ereader with my heart fluttering wildly in my chest while the pages flew as quickly as the time! It was FABULOUS and I loved every single minute!
But let's talk a few details... The Ravager Chronicles is an exciting, highly imaginative, fast-paced, well-crafted science fiction romance. The narrative is beautifully written in the first-person with a single perspective from the heroine Princess Ameia. Normally, I'll be the first to admit, I enjoy dual or multiple perspectives but this was basically Ameia's story and it worked in the context of this story and for me. I didn't feel like I was a missing a thing by only having one point of view. The dialogue was smart, snappy, well-executed, at times hilarious and flowed effortlessly. But my favorite element of this sexy romp was, without a doubt, the characters. I loved them all, even the bad guys! I was immediately drawn into this story on the very first page by Princess Ameia who found herself in quite the pickle. She'd just turned 18 and had only celebrated her birthday at a grand celebration the night before. She certainly never expected her wicked stepbrother to trick her onto a spaceship, then into an escape pod by feigning an emergency and launching it into space... and during her own party no less! Landing on a strange uninhabited planet in an antiquated escape pod with very little water, no edible food, and no real supplies, attired only in her pretty pink party dress, was certainly no day at the beach, especially after the huge purple alien showed up growling MINE! And did I mention he was naked?!? Oh dear! What's a princess to do? You'll have to read the series to find out!
Did I like this book? No, I LOVED it! I would like to take a moment to include a little personal note about this story. The first book of the series, Princess SOS, was offered as a free download during an Amazon promotion which is how I came across this series originally. I did not know at the time it was not a standalone read and was somewhat perturbed when I got to the end and realized there was a cliffhanger but decided to check out the second book and discovered the remaining three books and the complete box set of the series was available in Kindle Unlimited so I immediately borrowed the entire collection and dove into Book 2, The Dark Princes. Don't stop reading at the end of Book 1. Personally, I was a little frustrated because the author did NOT include this information in the blurb for Princess SOS and she should have disclosed this to the readers. I almost didn't continue the story but I truly loved the story and felt compelled to see it through to the end and so glad I did! And the story just got better and better! We see a complete metamorphosis of young Princess Ameia as she grows and matures from a naive and somewhat selfish child to a wonderful heroic young woman. I completely fell in love with Ameia and all her mates. Would I recommend it? You bet and I am but only for adult readers who enjoy a whole lot of fun and a heaping helping of sex with multiple mates! That's right! Amelia has more than one mate, dearies! So, you better buckle up for this one! Will I read this author again? Abso-freak-lutely! As a matter of fact, as soon as I finish this review, I'm racing to Amazon to read Page's Moon Alley Series Box Set! And finally, was I entertained? Completely! Fabulous entertainment and an awesome read!
I stumbled across the first book via BookBub, my review of the first three books in the bundle are on their respective individual books. I'm just reiterating a few things I've written there.
The series starts with a spoiled princess who is stranded on an unknown planet. She encounters an alien who intimidates and scares her with his size but at the same time who wins her over by his protective and nurturing nature. The narrative is a first person monologue which has been beautifully written here. Not much dialogue.
The second story is about how the princess and the alien who turns out to be royalty of another planet are rescued from the home ship of the prince and how they're both transported back to the princess' planet so she can reunite with her family. In this story her mate has to leave her in care for another fated to mate with her. And circumstances force her to accept him or face a consequence worse than death. It's amazing how the author has explored the emotions/beliefs of the narrator. It's a beauty to see how she doesn't immediately trust the aliens even though she's mated with them. And this is the story in which a lot more layers of plot are revealed to exist. The home planet of the aliens has its own share of issues. And human princess has to bear the brunt of it.
The third story is one where she's her most vulnerable. It digs deep into layers of a character's personality. It expands the universe and world that is built in the story. The descriptions are on point. You can guess that the room is gloomy without the author using that word to describe it. The look and feel was amazing in this series - I love the worlds that were built! And in here, in this new world at her most vulnerable she ends up stretching her threads of trust. She expands her beliefs and her ways. She moulds herself to the alien culture she's thrust upon. And finally! You see her accepting a ménage and not thinking that she's cheating on her husbands.
The fourth story is I think the most complex one there was. It's about how everything can look right on the surface but you cannot see the darkness within. This story shows how much and how well she's managing her time and needs according to her mates. She spoils them all. She doesn't let any of them feel unwanted. It's beautiful to see her transition. And given an opportunity to save everyone she loves - she fights against everything she believes is wrong. And that itself was the achievement of the author. That they made her important - they made her more than a damsel in distress. Which she was! All throughout the first and second book she was a damsel. The third one she wanted to fight for herself but wasn't given a chance. The fourth one she took the damn chance said "I'll save myself" and THAT was the high point of the book for me. That character arc. So slowly that you don't even realise it. It was - amazing!!
This story the whole chronicles have taken 3 days of my life and I don't regret it. At all. Bottom line - I couldn't put the book down. I couldn't. I read through it at lightening speed.
Thank you so much, Sara. The story was an amazing read.
This series gets 5.0 from me.
All my love, Sri

I had heard of Sara Page and I am loving her already! I gave this series a 5 steeping hot cups of java, ☕☕☕☕☕.
I believe I have read a book or two from her previously before reading her Ravager Chronicles Series. This series has to be read from book one to book four to completely follow the story through. It is written so well from beginning to end. It will have you feeling everything from beginning ... anticipation to despair to joy to uniquely high sexuality to darkness to happiness... to the end.
In book 1, I was gripped from beginning to end; filled me with quite a bit of anxious tensions that had some shock and awe and some trepidation with some humor thrown in as well as some terror.
Book two, this story gripped me in vice with the characters further I read into the pages playing out the connection between Beast and Ameia leading into meeting Striker which takes a drastic turn of events unexpectedly that spills into book three.
Book three plays out the storyline so smoothly with so much action and even the sexual tensions are electrifying between Ameia and her called mates, leading the story further into so much darkness that leaves you on pins and needles gripping your book and leaves you with abated breath with clues and events that blends into very drastic event where Amelia is lost to Beast and Striker into the darkness by her other two called mates, Warrick and Vis, in book four. But there is such evil surrounding those two mates.... Keep reading!
Book four truly had me in such grips with the darkness surrounding them bleeding through this last book. Tensions are very high between Ameia and her mates, the evil being, even toward the end of thus book. It was clued in book three how this might end but no telling how the ending will truly turn out.... Find out when you pick up The Ravager Chronnicles series!!
Princess SOS - This is where the series begins, princess Ameia meets the beast after a crash landing. The calling is strong and declares the princess as his. A rescue emerges and the plot twisting begins.
The Dark Princes - Striker hears the call and saves the day in the last book. Prince Drek and Striker return the princess back to her homeland and find it in disarray. Vrillun, her step-brother's trickery leads to his own demise. Ameia has the right to become queen once more but another plot twist leads you to the next story.
The Other Side - With the acceptance of both princes, life changes drastically for Ameia while she adjusts to her new surroundings in time to be kidnapped. Warrick feels the calling and Ameia accepts another into her fold. Vis is under the king's control until the king is no more. New life is born and a bigger family comes forth.
Queen of the Ravagers - This is the conclusion to the 4 book series. It certainly ends with a bang. Life changes for Vis as a reject, he finds his purpose once more. The princess completes the prophecy and there is an awesome epilogue at the end.
This sci-fi romance is a winner for me. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced readers copy of this collection.
I keep saying I am not a big science fiction fan, but I think I might slowly be evolving. Honestly, I have been on the hunt for a good, unique reverse harem book when I stumbled upon this one. At first, I was like "okay, I'll give it a few chapters and see how it goes." That was on May 5th about 5pm. Now, over 700+ pages and two days later, and I am done. What a wild, crazy, sexy book! There was no moments of drag or indecision on this book. It just grabbed me hard and refused to shake me loose. It reminded me in many ways of Laurell K Hamilton and her array of beautiful men she writes about and how one woman can make a difference and love many. I often could identify with Princess Ameia. She grows up fast in this book and I love the ending. This is a great read and I highly suggest it.
Can I give it 10 Stars? Where do I start? You know a story has you by the heart when you must slow down your reading to prolong the enjoyment. I just didn't want the story to end. This unusual family unit seemed to have no end to the horrors they faced. But, through it all, their love and utter devotion overcame every impossible obstacle. I was angry at times and cried tears of sadness at others. I was amazed and in the end was sniffling with happiness. What an epic sci-fi romance. I can see The Ravaged Chronicles playing out on the big screen; it's that good. Wow! Give me a little time to digest it and I'm definitely going to read it again.
The author writes very well which helped keep my interest until the end. I, for the most part, stayed engrossed in seeing how and where this story would end. I think the author tried to incorporate too many subplots which felt disconnected in my mind. I almost quit several times because I found that I was reading to get to the end, not really enjoying the tale. It turned out to be pretty good in totality, but I struggled to hang in until the end. Maybe that's just my individual quirk! Good writing and I'd still recommend it to others.
I laughed, I cried, I screamed at my Kindle on the bus....a good time was had by all. I was kept on the edge of my literary seat the entire time. Just when I thought things would calm down, BAM!! Sara Page his you with a 1-2 K.O. that made me wish I could read faster to find out how each curve ball she threw turned out. The MOST exhilarating book I've ever read, and I'm not just saying that. My first Sara Page book, and boy, I don't know how anyone is gonna top that.
Everytime there is something to explain, the author makes the characters forget. That is lazy. The ending was blah. For her to be destined to rule the kingdom she certainly didn't act as if she had been trained for the position since birth. She acted like a naive teenage girl. I don't even know why she had four mates. Warwick didn't sound sexy at all, he was a monster with the biggest cock in the world. He should have been called beast. We she a healer, a nympho? Not really sure.
If you love paranormal / sci-fi romances, then you don't want to miss out on this box set. The story grabs your attention from the first word and it doesn't let go until the end of the last book. There are twists and turns, and ongoing adventure, and a menage romance that heats up as the books progress. Two possessive, dominant alpha men have to learn to share one woman who in turn needs to learn how to handle all the changes in her life. I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.
Very well put together storyline, flows easily with no disconnections between books. This review is for the whole series as I had the boxed set. Great FH, starts out as a complete sucking woose, but eventually grows a set. Love the males, they made me frustrated by turn and laugh out loud with some of the antics and misunderstandings. If you like why choose and Aliens then this is definitely the series to sink your teeth into.
Uh, wellllll.... Got to Chapter 10 of the first book and gave up.
A princess in an escape pod crash lands on a planet and the only other life is a naked purple male. They can't communicate, so all that happens is a diary of the princess' actions and inactions. And, it's all written in first person, present tense. My absolute favorite form of narrative -- NOT!
This was an interesting series of books. I wasn't really sure about the Princess at first because she was a bit of a whiner lol. But she grew on me a bit. I really loved Beast, Vis and Warrick. They were my faves! Never cared for Striker. I really enjoyed the series, it was a really cool story full of everything you could want in a book. Action, drama, good and evil and love. I wouldn't mind reading more by this author.
Not gonna lie, I did not expect much from this book... But wow, totally impressed me. It was easy, but not one of those book that irritate the shit outta you. The characters didn't irritate me, they were enjoyable. At the same time I didn't get attached to the characters, but I still enjoyed them. Like I said, these books surprised me in a very good way.
I really enjoyed this series. I’m glad I was able to get all four in one set...I hate waiting to see what happens next. This was an enjoyable if dark at times read. My only complaint is the ending felt a bit sudden the details are floated over and End is explained in the epilogue. This was odd. Overall though I highly recommend the author and these stories.
The story kept me reading even when it dragged a little here & there. Very interesting storyline though I'd like to have less on certain things (like crashing the pod, meeting Drek) and more on being the beacon. Had magical healing powers sometimes but no explanations. Still a great read!
This was a cute series. It ended way too abruptly after all of the set up. It was as though the author became tired of it. I will say if I had to hear about the size of these guys d*cks and how Ameia would be split in two? I might have strained my eyes for all the rolling I did.
This was a very fantastic reverse harem series and I loved every aspect of this book! Light verses dark and how they collide. Lots of hot sex and chemistry between Ameai, Beast, Striker, Warrick and Vis! Each character has their own alien personality! So want an alien myself! :)
This is a series you will want to read again and again!
It is what I remember it being. It's not the most spectacular read, but it's not horrible. No major grammatical mistakes, the plot is fully developed, and the characters have defining personalities.
A few plot holes are evident, and Ameia is not a strong female lead.
The series is cery fast pased i really love how the main character was so week in the beginning then sucks it up and ends up pretty awesome. Definitely a dont put down until finished.
Started off really slow. The end of the first book is when it gets interesting.. The other books held my attention, although it would've been nice if the other characters had their own point of view.
