Doctorow. His writing has appeared in anthologies as well as The New York Times Magazine, Travel and Leisure, BlackBook, and elsewhere. He lives in Brooklyn with his wife and twin sons.

This writing was very uneven with a number of details thrown in seemingly to add some color to the story. The story kind of comes together at the end, but it was just too uneven to follow closely.
