A tremendous amount of detail about one of my favorite American historical figures. If you don’t like deep detail, you may not like this book. If you like detail, the Civil War and President Lincoln this is for you.

This book paints a picture of Lincoln as a human being, and how his decisions shaped the world in his day, and ours.

Way too much extraneous information. Couldn’t get much past 1/2 way through

I put this one aside to finish later. Very good historical info, in as much as I have read so far.

I listened to this as an audiobook. What an outstanding piece of work. Sandberg really knew his subject and gives a real sense of his person throughout. Great book.
