Two massive egos are set on a collision course in this perceptive and compelling comedy about art and artists and the legacy of fame.

Christopher Hampton's translation of The Mentor by Daniel Kehlmann premiered at the Ustinov Studio, Theatre Royal Bath, in April 2017.

Daniel Kehlmann is a German-Austrian author.

His novel Measuring the World (German: Die Vermessung der Welt) was translated into more than forty languages. Awards his work has received include the Candide Prize, the Literature Prize of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation, the Heimito von Doderer Literature Award, the Kleist Prize, the WELT Literature Prize, and the Thomas Mann Prize. Kehlmann divides his time between Vienna and Berlin.

اين اولين نمايشنامه از نمايشنامه هاي مدرن الماني بود كه خوندم و خب متن رواني داشت،ترجمه ش خوب بود و تصورش راحت بود ولي نسبت به بقيه كارهايي كه تا الان خوندم چيز به خصوصي نداشت…اميدوارم بقيه نمايشنامه هاي مدرن الماني كشش و ماجراي بيشتري داشته باشن✨
