3.5/5⭐️. Nice first installment in this 6 book series. I was intrigued by the unique premise and the book started off strong. However, the couple’s connection didn’t necessarily translate off the pages for me. I’m still interested in seeing how the remaining books in the series will build on the arranged marriage plot and plan to check them out.

Creative!!! Omg, this story was so different and I loved the uniqueness of how Haylo and Maarz's relationship started. Very cute and sweet love story. This author has quickly become one of my favorites.

Amazing book!! In a culture and world where lust is more common than love this book shows you a look into arranged marriage. Haylo is 22 and nervously awaiting her betrothal box. She dreads seeing it when she opens her door one morning but after a conversation with her mother she gains the courage to open it and recieve her husband. She is pleasantly surprised, attracted and excited. This is a dream to her. As Haylo gets to know Maarz, her future husband you realize that it is possible to fall in love with someones spirit and words. The vibes between them were amazing. I love that this was current and open minded even though it was about something I have never expierenced. It was an amazing read and I will definitely read it again. A love story that gave me butterflies. And Maarz is my new book bf, he is so sexy and alpha. I cant believe I waited this long to try this author. I will definitely be reading B. Love more often!

This is an unusual premise for a story, and that's what caught my attention. Essentially, these people live in a town where arranged marriages are the norm. The period of courting, before marriage, was interesting. I can't say too much without spoiling the process, but I kept reading to see what would unfold next.
If you don't want to marry someone your parents choose for you, you leave town upon graduation. There are religious overtones in the story, but not too much, so this isn't an inspirational romance. The faith-based aspects are interwoven into the story in such a way that they feel organic rather than preachy.

Not sure what I was expecting with this storyline but, To Take was an interesting read. The idea of an arranged marriage had me giving this book a little bit of a side eye but, by the end, I was thinking "maybe it's not so bad after all." Maarz and Haylo were the sweetest. They went into their arranged marriage with open minds and lustful hearts. Their attraction to one another was instantaneous. I was a little skeptical, at first, at how quickly they fell in love with each other having never met. But, the whole courting process made it easy for them to fall in love so quickly. They couldn't talk or see each other for a certain period of time before the wedding and they could only write letters to one another. If you can attract a woman with just your words, you've pretty much got her. Maarz was that dude. Giving off loads of BDE in his letters. Poor Haylo. She was hooked after the first letter. To Take was a sweet love story. I can't wait to see who else gets a white box on their doorstep in Crimson Trails.

I decide to take my schedule to give B. Love change to reading her works. To Take: A Novella is my beginning and my first time reading from this author. B. Love is excellent author and writer. She did a phenomenal job.
She gives definition of love, respect, faithful, loyal and support relationship in this book. I was impressed and surprised by her works. It’s different and education to me. I could relate to this characters in this book. I’m
happy for LoLo and Maarz’s love connections and spirits for them.
I can’t wait to read part 1 of Take series. I’ll definitely continue to support and read more books from this author.

I've never been a fan of prearranged marriages, however, this one I approve of. Haylo and Maarz we're a great match in every way. Maarz is that dude every woman loves. Sexy, business savvy, family oriented, expressive, sensitive with a bit of an edge to him, and loves to cater and spoil his woman. Yasss. I'm sitting here right now all googly-eyed and stuff lol. Maarz and Haylo have been betrothed to one another by their parents. They’ve never met, but have both received a white box on their doorstep, revealing their identity to one another. Both are immediately pleased with the selection and...the two month courtship begins. The only form of communication allowed is thru letters.
I absolutely loved this novella by @authorblove, and I cannot wait to dive a little deeper into her 80 book catalog. It was a quick read, but so meaningful and I wish more hopeless romantics would read it. The beautiful art of courtship has been buried and replaced with “hanging out, kicking it”, etc. #BLPMayMadness

This was definitely a hit I loved everything about this so much from the dedication that gave each other, to the vows they promised, to the prayers they prayed. All of it was so fulfilling. I about highlighted so much to save and look back on. If only most everyone in this world had this it would be phenomenal and extraordinary. Take a journey and read this book you won’t regret it.

A chance on love
This romance is something I would love to have went through. The way people meet these days you’re taking a chance on love from someone who you don’t know is really who they say they are. At least this way of meeting, your parents have done the research with you in mind. They picked the right one for their child.

This book was definitely a blessing to read. It was beautifully written and presented love and romance scenes in a different light . What a beautiful unique love story of the couples in this book. It painted a picture of true love and romance and it defines love over sex. Great job B. Love

This book was amazing. It was totally different and I love how it was old fashion courting. I love how they wrote letters and couldn't see or touch or talk to each other. I love how they fell in love with each other first. That's how relationships should be. This is an amazing story.
