I love this author! He is just an amazing man of God! I love Micheal Criner’s sermons and everyday wisdom! He loves the Lord and bears so many fruits of the spirit.
Criner shows this in the way that he writes and lives. Loved this book! Truly a blessing!
If I could rate this 10 stars I would, but I guess I’ll just stick with 5.

The book was a blessing, particularly the final chapter. It analyzes five sermons in Acts through Eckhard Schnabel's rhetorical organization paradigm: Narratio-- the explanation of the subject matter; argumentatio-- the proofs; peroratio-- the conclusion.

After a brief analysis, three contextual principles are offered for the modern Christian to preach the Word anywhere and to anyone. First, an initial point of contact must be made between speaker and audience. Second, the essential kerygma used by the early apostles and Paul must be utilized. Finally, the sermon must be contrastive-- that is, it must point out the differences between their worldview and the true Christian worldview. This endeavor, if done well, will offend the audience.
