This book was filled with an assortment of great romances. They were short stories that gave you a lot for their size. Each book was different and I enjoyed them all. In the first book I was happy with the way the story unfolded and I was glad to see that Rescuing the Duchess was written so well and told such a loving story. With each couple the stories were unique and enjoyable. I was happy to read so many stories by Bess Hart. I will look for more of her work. She has a way of making you involved so that you care about each couple. After reading the book I found out that this was written by several woman sharing a pen name. What a great idea. Well done to you all.
"Both of her parents were dead. She was a Duchess now..." I read on a little bit- to where the new 'duchess' was to have a celebration where she should pick from five suitors. No worries about her father's death, never mind a funeral or a mourning period.
Forget the lack of historical accuracy. This story doesn't even bother with normal human emotions.
Save your time. It's not even worth the free price.
