Spanish for Beginners starts with a thorough and well-written introduction, explaining what information readers should expect to find in the book. From there, readers will find twelve extensive chapters that each contain plenty of practical advice, tips and guidance for anyone wishing to learn to speak Spanish quickly and correctly.

Beginners will appreciate returning to this book as a reference guide whenever needed. The author covers pronunciation, tilde accent, numbers, colors, seasons, conjugations, conversational Spanish and much more. In other words, there’s a great deal of valuable information packed into the book’s 161 pages.

I’d highly recommend this book for anyone who has been looking for a super simple, yet efficient way to learn to speak Spanish for work, travel or just for fun!

A must read for newcomers

I can’t recommend this book enough. It really helps break down the complicated conjugation that trips up new learners. The examples help, though I do wish there were more. It’s a little annoying that they want you to buy the books containing more examples. Otherwise, this’s a great, useful read. If you’re learning Spanish and trying to understand the grammar and conjugation, this’s for you.

The photos of the tables are cut off on the "page".

I narrowed the margins as much as I could but it still cut off or wrapped the tables showing how letters are pronounced and how numbers work. This is supposed to be the Kindle version so I expected it to work better. Since these tables are not text, changing the font size makes no difference.

A good review

I think this book offers a good review of the rules for anyone who has already taken a Spanish class of two. I can't imagine that anyone could actually speak Spanish in 7 days after reading this. Also, there were quite a few typos which would confuse someone who didn't or couldn't recognize them as such. Overall, a good reference book.

Spanish for Beginners is a great resource for a true beginner. If you want to learn Spanish, this is a good way to start. There are lots of opportunity for practice and the information is presented in a logical manner. It also allows you to work or advance at your own pace. Great book. Enjoy!

I learned Spanish in college and refreshed my Spanish using Duolingo. Since Duolingo doesn’t give a lot of context, it’s nice to have this handy grammar book.
