If I Was a Caterpillar, is a short young children’s book that teaches little ones to believe in themselves.

It is elegantly illustrated, with big, bold images that are very colourful, and shine off the page. I love the look of Caterpillar, he has a proper cartoon, friendly face. I can see little children being mesmerised by the pictures.

Caterpillar believes in himself. He believes that he can travel the world and have amazing adventures, such as, have tea with royalty, skate on a frozen lake, and even bounce in a kangaroo’s pouch.

The book also shows the children about the life cycle of caterpillars, as we see Caterpillar go to sleep in his cocoon, and then emerge as a beautiful butterfly who wants to fly around the world.

A lovely short book that would make a great bedtime story. It would also be a good book for those children just learning to read, as the sentences are short and written in large bold text.

I'm a big fan of Ben and Sam's Little Fart series. I knew I wanted to read this one as soon as I saw it! I love their dedication to writing books for children that entertain yet teach valuable lessons. I've been known to say a time or two that you should read kids books at any age! They're a great way to interact with your family. I personally have 3 teenagers and we read kids books together all the time. It's bonding, but in my opinion a great way to provide feedback for authors. Every person at any age will see the stories different than you. For us, Ben and Sam's books create a lot of interesting conversations between us and I love every moment of it.

If I was a caterpillar I would so wear a different shoe on each foot too! Seriously! I mean if you had the chance to do something totally different and it made you happy, wouldn't you? One of the things I loved about the story itself was the theme/idea behind it that if you truly open yourself up, anything is possible. it's a story about embracing who you are, diving into your imagination and making things happen. The illustrations are beautifully done with extra details that bring life to Mr. Cat's (Yup totally nicknamed him!) adventures.

Once again, we loved this creative hit by Ben and Sam! I encourage you to take the time to read it with the kids in your life (of all ages!) and strike up a discussion! Don't just discuss what you would do if you were like Mr. Cat! What would you do if you could fly, or throw black glitter all around? Anything is possible after all. Super cute, super fun, loved every bit of this book. Thanks to you both for helping to create another awesome memory with my children!

From the creators of the hit children's book franchise Timmy and the Little Fart comes a brand new children's book that tells the story of chasing
dreams and believing in yourself. That story is If I Was A Caterpillar by Ben Jackson, Sam Lawrence and Danko Herrera, and here is the synopsis:

Read along with the caterpillar as it travels around the world trying exciting new activities and having fun! Reading with children is one of the biggest forms of early education, helping to develop young minds.

This wonderfully written and illustrated children's book helps reinforce the age old idea for children that they can be anything they want to be.
No dream is too big, and if you work hard you can achieve said dreams. The artwork was bright and warm to see, and watching the story unfold will
surely help children take the message of the story to heart.

Overall this is another strong children's book from these incredible writers. Full of heart, warmth and a message all children deserve to learn,
this is a story parents will adore reading to their children for years to come. If you haven't yet be sure to pick up your copy of If I Was A

“It doesn’t matter what you are when you are born, with just a little imagination you can turn a small humble caterpillar into one of the world’s most beautiful butterflies!”

I absolutely enjoyed reading this book to my grand kids and it brought a few smiles to our faces. It seems to me that this book has been created with a lot of love and joy and it is very obvious to me that the authors really enjoy creating such wonderful stories. I have shared your stories with my own family and we have all found great delight in them. Thank you for sharing with us the gift that you have obviously worked so hard to refine. I trust your book will soon be on the best seller list. If not, it should be! Five stars from us. We’ll be looking forward to seeing what’s coming next.

A special mention also to illustrator, Danko Herrera, for his dazzling work.

If I was a Caterpillar is a fun children's book about all the fun things you could do as a caterpillar. Some of the activities were wearing different shoes on each foot or riding in a kangaroo pouch. This book encourages children to be anything they want.
The pictures are fun and captivating with bright colors that keep children's attention. The writing allows for children to read the book on their own or enjoy it with a parent.
My children thoroughly enjoyed this book. I loved reading it too. It's a definite winner.

I rated this book so high because it was an excellent read with my little one. We both loved the colorful language, the variety of ideas and the really lively illustrations. She and I read this before bed and it was a fun time. She loved the different ideas the caterpillar had. Another fun book by this team. They certainly know what captivates a child's imagination.
