Isaac He came to New Mexico to get away from his overbearing perfect family. It was supposed to be a place for him to be free. To be his self. But in a world still getting used to the idea of supernatural creatures, it is hard for a werewolf to find sanctuary from the prejudice eyes of the world. Until he met her.
Anna Every weekend she takes a break from working on her Ph. D. in supernatural creatures to visit her grandmother. The supernatural had always fascinated her and she is excited to get started in the new world full of magic and shapeshifters. Only problem is, she’s never actually met one. Until him.
Erin Bedford is an otaku, recovering coffee addict, and Legend of Zelda fanatic. Her brain is so full of stories that need to be told that she must get them out or explode into a million screaming chibis. Obsessed with fairy tales and bad boys, she hasn’t found a story she can’t twist to match her deviant mind full of innuendos, snarky humor, and dream guys.
On the outside, she’s a work from home mom and bookbinger. One the inside, she’s a thirteen-year-old boy screaming to get out and tell you the pervy joke they found online. As an ex-computer programmer, she dreams of one day combining her love for writing and college credits to make the ultimate video game!
Until then, when she’s not writing, Erin is devouring as many books as possible on her quest to have the biggest book gut of all time. She’s written over thirty books, ranging from paranormal romance, urban fantasy, and even scifi romance.
Also, third person is really weird when writing about yourself. Just putting that out there.
Super short. This is labeled as 34 pages. But the story ends at the 50% mark; the rest being a teaser for book one. So, it's basically 17 pages long. I didn't particularly care for the characters and there isn't enough world to know if I might like anything else about the series. Plus, the editing is a bit dodgy, especially around punctuation.
When I got the book I thought it was a new version of Beauty and the Beast. It's not. Okay, it's about werewolf. I love stories about them. But when you start liking the story....it's over.
This is a super quick fun read that is part of The Fairy Tales Bad Boys Series. This can be read alone but better if you read the other books in the series. This one revolves around a werewolf shifter. I loved it but It was just too short as I was craving more.
Anna May comes to visit her grandmother in the nursing home. Isaac sees her and can't stop looking at her. He goes into her grandmother's room when Anna May's grandmother freaks out. Isaac leaves but Anna May runs into him later. She apologizes and asks him on a date. What caused Anna May's grandmother to freak out? Will Isaac and Anna May get together?
While I enjoyed this story, it was entirely too short to get into before it was over. Isaac and Anna May could have a fun story, but this just introduces you to them. The story is a series of vignettes with Isaac and Anna May starring in them. I hope this author expands these characters and this story.
As always, I loved the storytelling of the author that is present in this book. She just has a way of dragging you into the story and leaving you wanting more. Yes, this story was a little short, but it isn't meant to be a long book. There is just so much in the few pages that there are. This book is also filled with the hot, hot, hot romance typical of Ms. Bedford's other books. It's hard to find other authors who have such writing skills, wonderful romance, and great plots. This book is part of a series, and you can read it by itself, but I do recommend reading them in order as characters from other books make an appearance. Do yourself a favor and get this book! You will love it! Highly recommend!
Not quite sure what this was. Barely any introduction to the characters, background, anything. I was mostly left confused. I think it was supposed to be a play on Little Red Riding Hood.
This book was interesting and I enjoy reading it, but as I got interested in it, it ended. It was good book and I look forward to reading more of Erin Bedford books
Fine story, nicely written, but way too short. Just when you start to really enjoy it and be interested into the fates of our two main protagonists, the story ends. I was a bit disappointed for the quick end since the story sounded really promising. I would love a longer version.
As always, Erin's books leave you awestruck with excitement and anticipation for her next installment. This book certainly didn't disappoint! It's a combination of two tales; one with Isaac, a drool worthy werewolf and the second, Jason trying to win back his lost love, Isabelle. I can't wait to read what comes next! Another 5 stars for Erin!
Issac is a bit of a sweety and Anna a perfect fit for him. The story was way to short though. I really more. I wanted to see the angst of some foe and the love grow between them. Hopefully the author will write more for them later on. This was a super quick read and is a prelude to Hunter.
Isaac is a werewolf working in a nursing home and trying to distance himself from his family by being in control of his temper. Anna is a student of supernatural studies and meets Isaac while visiting her grandmother. They have an immediate connection and decide to see what happens.
This was very short, but also very cute and surprisingly satisfying.
