When you look at me, can you see my truth, Can you tell who I am inside? Of course you can't, I hide it well, My secrets, pain, and lies. The crazy thing about doing things in the dark is that it always comes to the light. Everyone has that one secret they wish would stay buried. There are those that believe that if they ignore the past or act as if it didn't exist that their secret would just disappear. Johana Singleton thought that if she graduated college, got an amazing career and took care of her family that all her past indiscretions would just go away. What she didn't realize is when you're running from the past, sometimes you run directly into it. Pastor Elijah and First Lady Tierra, were the couple to look up. Their sharing spirit and willingness to give made them the most respected and honored people in their community. What they didn't expect was something that happened over a decade ago was about to spill out and cause a world of pain.

Poor character development, poor transitions, poor formatting of the book.
All of this took away from the story itself. I appreciate the plot but the delivery needs to be better. I'm leery of purchasing another book and will only purchase part 2 because I like to complete a series.
Omg! Where do I begin?🤔 This book is filled with sex, lies, drama and deceit! The main characters are not who they appear to be but in the end the underdog wins🙂. I don't want to give away too much of the story but I must say Tierra and Elijah are definitely wolves in sheep's clothing!
Im sitting here with the OMG look on my face. Im gonna tell you this. If cant handle sick and twisted stuff this aint for you! This book had me all the way on the edge of my seat. This is a page turner . The end had me so shook i was like damn! I went straight to Part 2
All I can say is OMG this book was bomb and I definitely was not expecting it to end like that.I literally in shocked with my mouth wide open.About to read part 2
Well that was certainly an interesting twist. There was definitely an ick factor whenever a sex scene was on deck. The transitions were not always clear, the characters were often mixed up and the characters were not fully developed. But this book was high drama and I read it in one day. I can't wait to see the aftermath in book 2.
