I did not finish this book as it was very heavy reading. After working all day and then graduate work, I could not take any more academic reading. I hate to be the type of person to say this, but if you are interested in this story, save yourself the trouble and watch the movie; it will move faster.

Excellent read! There was so much about God here, I loved it, I loved seeing how people talked about God and lived out their faith during that time. Lots of things that weren't included in the movie.
