Wow
All I can say is wow. These three heifers are something else. All three of them worked my last nerve in one way or another. I wanted to slap each one of them silly. There is so much going on with all the backstabbing and hating on one another. You have to read it to understand what I'm talking about. That ending left me wanting part 2. I need to know what's going to happen next.

Bad and Boujee isn't your average urban read. The book started off a little slow, bt it definitely picked up. Alaïa, Chloé, and Miracle was the best of friends, or at least, that was how it seemed.
Alaïa was an immature, self-centered, self-absorbed actress that thought everything was about her. Alaïa thought that everyone wanted her, and that she could have anything/anyone she wanted, and that everyone wanted her. Alaïa had the beauty, and body, and exuded sassiness, but underneath, she struggled to be perfect, and she battled with her own insecurities.
Chloé was one of Alaïa's best friends, but she had the hardest life, of the trio. Chloé's mother pimped her out to the highest bidder, and she could care less about Chloé. The only thing that Chloé wanted, was to be loved, and her mother's approval, but her mother was only interested in one thing, and that was the dollar signs. Chloé complained a lot to Alaïa, and Miracle, but she didn't act upon it. Chloé felt that she had an obligation to take care of her mother, but her way of life, was slowly draining her. Chloé definitely had her problems, but it didn't stop her from sleeping with Alaïa's ex-boyfriend Zane.
Miracle was a hot mess. ...a hot trans, that used to be a stick-up kid. I couldn't make this up if I tried. Miracle felt that she should have had Alaïa's life, despite all the things that Alaïa had done for her ungrateful behind. Miracle's brothers persuaded her to set Alaïa up, and take what Miracle wanted. Just when that wasn't enough, Miracle, just like Chloé, slept with Alaïa's ex-boyfriend as well! Why have enemies, when you have friends like Chloé, and Miracle?
L was the only constant person that was in Alaïa's life, but even L had secrets as well. L was a well paid assassin, and he thought that when it came to love, he was voided of the emotions. When Alaïa and L first met each other, they couldn't stand each other, but both of them was just so misunderstood. Alaïa just seemed to attract drama, and L was always the one that saved her. He was physically and literally Alaïa's hero. What was misunderstood, slowly turned into a love story, and I'm interested in how it will end.

This one was quite some read. I found all of the characters simply off the chart crazy. I'm not sure who was the worst of the bunch from Miracle, Chole, Zane, Claire, Ahmad and I will stop there with a few others I was left to wonder about. Definitely, I can't say who was the worst of this group but it seemed like there was someone there to protect poor Alaia but will he be enough? I will say Alaia really did need someone she could trust because those friends were definitely not the ones.
I was left feeling like this was a good read, however, we will need to get the second part of this love story in 'Bad and Boujee' book 2 to find out who is still standing!

Omg lets get into it
What just happened?!?! L and Alia..I’m happy they finally got out of their own way but damn as soon as they made progress something tragic happens. What is to become of them? I hope at the end of it all they find each other. Miracle smh now I didn’t see any of they coming. How can she do that to the only person who seem to have her best interest in mind. If you wanted more for yourself, as a BF you should have come to her and expressed your feelings and did what you needed to do to get to your own level. Not listen to low lives. Let’s how this all plays out because I just can’t believe half of what I read when it comes to Miracle. Chloe, girlllll I feel sorry for her. She is going to snap and when she does I hope her fake ass mother gets the bulk of it. Ahmad I just new he was going to be the one but I guess not. Zane, is the lowest type of man. I hope he gets his too. I’m so glad I didn’t have to wait for part two.

Nothing was as it seems!!
The ladies relationship was layered with jealousy, lies and deceit. Alaina was her own worst enemy. Miracle wanted something she couldn’t have. Chloe is caught up and has no idea she’s being played. No words for Claire!! L is the mystery man.. where will it go from here. So disappointed in Miracle.

Friends, Family, & Foes
Utterly speechless and intrigued by the characters and individual back stories. L finally felt normal which only lasted mere moments and Miss Westbrook just couldn’t catch a break. Chloe is a victim who I truly feel sorry for. Miracle needs to be thankful instead she’s vengeful. I’m on to book #2.

I really expected to come away from this read sucking my teeth, mainly because of the title, but, I didn't. This was actually a really good read and surprisingly, wasn't very cliche at all. The characters had believable personalities and dialogue and I liked how their back stories were revealed

Miracle is deceitful and got the green monster on her back. Lia because of her insecurities puts up the wall and L needs to feel but how much will that cost him. No words for Zane and poor Chloe lord her auntie/momma is beyond evil.

Great read. Zane, Miracle, Claire & Ahmad are beyond trifling. Their actions will be their downfall. I’m glad L has stepped up to protect Alaia. Looking forward to finding out what happens in part 2.

Awesome Read. Alaia is definitely boujee, but her next door neighbor L is one not to put up with her mess. Before finding out he was her neighbor she had already curved him not knowing that he was rich. Although he did like her and care for her, he tried his best to not take no further than helping her and conversation. Alaia bestfriend Miracle is a snake not only sleeping with her ex Zane. But is trying to bring her down so she can become successful. That ending though had me like wow. I was happy that L and Alaia was finally taking a step further. I hope both of them are ok. Can't wait for part two.

I was shocked about Claire and what she did to Cathie, that is just trifling.. I wonder what Chloe will do when the truth comes out..

This book held my interest fro start to finish. Alaia was the only sane one one. Her friends wasn't truly her friends. They were out to get what she have. I hope L is able to save her from Miracle and her jealous ways. Chloe just want to be with someone cuz of her triflin mother. She will realize everything that glitters ain't gold. L is someone that you don't wanna mess with. He's Rambo. I can't wait for pt.2 Great Job

I'm sitting here like oh wow. It took some time for me to get into it but I couldn't wait to see what messiness would unfold. It was so many secrets floating around this story. Alaia really did get on my nerves and took being bad and boujee to all new heights. Her reaction to L when they first met had me cussing because she took things too far. I really liked L because although he didn't deal with a lot of people he proved he could be protective of those that he possibly had an interest in. L also didn't hesitate to put people in their places when they underestimated him. I'm mad L got caught slipping but hopefully everything will work itself out. Zane has some nerve and I can only imagine how things will be for him if Tika holds true to her threat. Now Miracle is who now? I shouldn't be surprised but I actually wasn't expecting any of her secrets. She's about to complicate things because obviously she doesn't understand the true meaning of loyalty. Chloe should've taken heed to Miracle's warning but some things she'll have to find out on her own. When it comes to Claire, that's a scandalous whore. I know once the secrets begin to unfold they'll wish they had humbled themselves instead of thinking things would be just fine being bad and boujee.

Miracle, Ceasar, Zane & Chloe had interesting backstories and were interesting enough. Aliyaah was vapid.
The narrator had a country, campy delivery and it was the wrong person for this book. This unfortunately may have colored my review.

Boujee for real!!!
This is my first time reading from this author, but it definitely will not be my last. Not only is it written in my favorite style writing, but it kept me intrigued from beginning to end. I don't want to give anything away, but I cannot wait to see what happens next. That ending still has my mouth opened!!!! Great work!

I love this storyline. Everybody has a past and every past is a chance it will come back to haunt you when you least expect it. This was a good read that flowed well and definitely left you wanting more.

Just what the title said Alalia is a self centered (boujee) actress that was born with a silver spoon in her mouth, little do she know her real enemies are the ones she keep around her on a daily basis. Who are your real friends?
L (Bad) lives up to his name, he has some deep secrets that may up costing him his life, please stay tuned the Drama has just begun.
The book was fast paced it ended just when the Drama Started, waiting patiently for book # 2
Needs better editing but overall a good read.

Umm
OK this book was kind of short. I wanted more and then it stopped. I wished it had stayed more focused of Alaia and L. The other characters are cool but dang are all of them flaw. Not one of her friends are true to her. I knew it was something suspicious with Chloe's mom. I hope part 2 is longer and I hope this is not a long series.
