Two innocents are taken and only one woman can find them.
Anna Dedrick lives a life of strife and determination. Where others give in, Anna presses on. It’s what makes her a helluva investigator. Now she has met her match, a serial abductor with unclear motive and an unlimited amount of resources. This job will require more than finesse and skill. Anna will need an iron will and an unyielding resolve. Luckily, she embodies those traits… but will it be enough?
Anna is a great character...a strong, intelligent and yet damaged PI. I thought the story was (although troubling) exciting and non-stop action. However I felt it was lacking at the end...ended too abruptly! I guess it is meant to be a cliffhanger...it just feels like they forgot to finish it!
I love the style of writing this author has. I loved reading this book as much as I did the first book. If I have one complaint it is only that I feel forced to buy the next book ... In order to reach the final conclusion ... But truly it is worth it. So I do recommend this story to everyone who loves a good thriller!
This series started at number 0 and doesnt end in the first 2 books. All novellas chasing the same kidnapper ith the same kid. Never ending joke!! What a waste of time!!!
Okay! The first reading from this Author, I usually don't read books like this. This person was sick, I still didn't find out why he did the things he did.
The more I read of this book, the less I liked it. There are several grammatical errors which are distracting, and sometimes I had to read a sentence two or three times to understand what the author was saying.
Spoiler: Had I known that the main crime was not going to be resolved in this book, I would not have started it. I only finished it because I wanted to see how the crime was solved. I won't care enough about Keisha to read the next book.
