Lord take me nowwwwwwww!!!
Why did I have a feeling that Patrick was going to show up again. De'ja is foul for making it seem like she got a divorce and for some reason I don't think it's Dino baby cause everytime they were intimate she couldn't take the D (my opinion). Just when Lexus was getting back on track this happens. I applaud her for not falling for temptation and talking back with Patrick. Oh how I can't wait for part 3. Great job Sha Jones

OMG what a good book so much drama.
Lexus and Karma were best friends both were trying to find them selves. Lexus came home to a empty house. From school and found a note from her mother torn up twenty dollars and ten dollar her mother Patty told her Tyrone her dead-beat boyfriend were going on a vacation. So basically she abandoned her only child for some man. She was only 16 years old what kinda mother does that it has scared her for life. She went to working at fast food restaurant to becoming a popular stripper at club Oynx . She ask to work a bachelor party and meets the man of her dreams Dino club owner business men with plenty of swagger lethal sex game. It starts off as a one night stand and whirlwind affair turns into a relationship. Mercedes who he had a previous fling with her for 8 months he never told her it was exclusive relationship she fell in love she was just something to do. Come to find out Mercedes was crazy and jealous of Lexus and Dino relationship. Lexus was in love with each other after 3 weeks of seeing each other. Dino ask Lexus to come with him to his club. Mercedes gets in Lexus hit her in the head with a glass upside her head and the club is turmoil and fight break out between these ladies. Then Mercedes lies and sends a text to Dino cell phone say he was with her the night before without a condom and slept with both woman nasty nasty man. She breaks up with Dino and refused to talk to him for 3 days he has a spiritual connection with her and can't let her go. She was afraid of him leaving her like her mother did she was trying to protect her heart. Missed her period for about two weeks and she takes a pregnancy test the results are in she pregnant she excited and scared at the same time. Dino was determined to find his mother so she can get to know her grand baby. He found his mother blind and she had full blown aids and only had weeks to live. Dino went to his mother to find out she died overnight in her sleep. Dino was taking her death hard and Lexus stood by him. Lexus and Karma went shopping she 3 months pregnant and she stops for gas and runs into Mercedes and her crew they ended up fighting her and the crew they kicked her in her stomach and body people were watching was recording some man broke it up some lady help her to her car she called upset and crying Dino and told him what happened he ask where was she at she was so upset he was panicking she told him she on her way home she lived with him. Lexus ended up losing their baby such a tragedy their relationship dramatically charged Lexus blamed herself and basically blamed him because he really didn't address the issue he was kinda avoiding the issue. Lexus was emotional drain after the miscarriage she was full of so much pain and angry with Dino they grew apart. Lexus ended up going back to stripping uncovered on the weekend and ended having affair with one of her customer name Patrick. Lexus sneaking out of the house while Dino was sleeping to meet him at the hotel . When she returned home Dino ask her where he been was she cheating on him she lies and tell him no. Dino has a app installed on her phone and hears hers conversation with Karma telling her about the guy at the club. He goes in a rage and chokes her out he is so hurt when Lexus knows how much he loves her. Dino kicks Lexus out of the house and throw her clothes outside he so disgusted with her He can't even look at her he so hurt by her betrayal he didn't see it coming this is the one he wants to be with for life. Will Lexus and Dino find there way back to each other are end up resenting each other.

Story fell short for me after Lexus cheated on Dino. Then she disregarded it and kept trying to justify it because of her past. Or they tried to blame Dino because his ex played a role in what caused her to cheat. The book irritated me so bad. I did not like Lexus. I feel like character was written like he was younger than Lexus. This grown man is in his 30’s crying over his 22 year old unloyal gf. Dino should have got a new woman by the end of the book and Lexus should have just been stuck with the fault in her carelessness and losing Dino. I no longer cared for there love story. It made Dino look very weak that he couldn’t move on from someone who cheated on him after being together for just a few months. That also fell short for me in the book. He was so weak for her and there was nothing special about her. They connected through trauma. Thats all. He met someone else, but ofcourse make her the worst of the worst so that he can be with Trashy Lexus. Lexus losing the baby was not a valid reason to lose her self and cheat on him. If anything heal with your man because y’all both lost the baby.

This series disappointed me. Lexus really irked my nerves from beginning to end! Lucky I typically like sha because I really wanted to rank the series a 1. I felt like Lexus was let off too easy and Dino allowed her to take advantage of him. Lexus was selfish and I could not stand how she kept trying to make her past dictate her future. Karma had it way worst than she did. Deja turning out to be crazy also was aggravating because it’s like Deja was made to be unlikable to excuse Dino ultimately doing her wrong. He did not communicate with her about anything that he felt she lacked. Even when she clearly asked. I do not feel Lexus was the woman for Dino but it I guess it makes sense because Karma and Kane. Three Stars for Dino and Patty.

This is what happens when you have nothing and God give you a great blessing and you play yourself when you get it I cannot believe the Lexus plate itself which I got to read it for yourself onto another note, is doing much better with my head and I'm so glad and happy that they found each other but I believe that the situation with the crazy stalking not really a X just hit in Lexa but as you say not really a ex but I believe the situation and the loss of a child would give her temporary insanity Samaga with that but I love the characters in this book I can't wait to get to point to that I got ago got to reduce this was out freaking STANDING

Lo and behold there is someone from the past that is making it difficult for them to move toward. After a tragic loss everything changes in a blink of a eye. Will they be able to overcome and move onward or not? Ready for part 2 to find out. One click and enjoy this awesome read.

Good book!
Overall this was a good book. I'm not Ms. Holier Than Thou, but the only thing I disliked about the book was Lexus and Karma addressing each other as b!tc#. That's why I rated the book 4 stars. I am glad that Lexus reunited with her mom and was able to forgive her. What I really want to know is what happened to Patty's boyfriend? I would recommend this book to anyone who likes urban fiction.

Pretty good book . I will be reading the next book in the series . I truly connected to Lexus , hurt my heart what her mother did to her. With everything that she been through its good that she has a friend like Karma. Every female should have a friend like her. I will be recommending the series to others .

This book was a complete page turner.. OMG.. Love the story of Kaine and Karma, but this story here is unbelivable. The love that they sharing was completely breath taken. They were completely meant to be together. Now do I feel it moved fast, yes it did but hey it is what it is. Just need to know what the outcome with all of them.

Love Conquers All
I am so glad that they were able to overcome all the hardships that they had to endure. Seeing how Dino and Lexus were both abandoned by their moms. Yet they were able to forgive them before it was too late. Then dealing with they delusional ex's. They sho know how to pick them.

Ugh how could Lexus be so stupid to mess over Dino? He was so good to her now she want to go crying to Karma. Lexus mother has her messed up in the head from her abandoning her at 16, I'm mad she loss their baby though.

I believe that there was too much extra emphasis on the part of Lexus mother leaving her.
There were too many times that the same issues kept being played out. The first and last quarters of the book was the best.
