“Cozy” mysteries are not a favorite of mine, and samplers,of course, leave a reader without closure; but, all things considered, this freebie was a good read. I might consider downloading some of this author’s completed work.

DNF. Frustrating that there are 3 chapters told from each book. They appear well written but, having gone through the first and now wanting to read the story, I find that just a taste is not enough. It is like watching someone eat chocolate cake when you have only been given a crumb.

What a wonderful way to read a great selection of works by one of my favorite authors Lorraine Bartlett in this Sampler. Or by one of her alter egos Lorna Barrett or L.L. Bartlett. Once you start reading you are going to want to read more of these fantastic series!

An excellent selection of the works of Lorraine Bartlett and writings under her own names. She is a prolific writer of Cozy Mysteries. I can't wait to get my hands on these books to finish the stories she has introduced me to in this Sampler. Whether writing as Lorraine Bartlett or one of her later egos L.L. Bartlett or Lorna Barrett or with the Cozy Chicks the reader knows they have a great read!
