Sleepless Beauty - Jane is terrified of an urban legend about Sleepless Beauty, a woman who kisses you and steals your sleep. I really enjoyed this tale, especially the twist ending.
Spectral Velocity - a sci-fi spin on Rapunzel as two people fall in love when the odds are against them.
The Origins of Snow - a king searches for a fair maiden to be his wife. He visits a witch who presents him with a baby who will grow to be the fairest in the land. A very different look at Snow White which I enjoyed.
Wonderland Casino - Alyce is trapped in Wonderland...Casino. Can she find a way out and save the detective who has come to rescue her?
These stories are all very different but really enjoyable. Well worth reading.

Izzy from the Beast Within is probably my favourite character. She's a hard ass and doesn't take crap from anyone. The story of Beauty and the Beast is completely reversed. The beast is a stalker, Belle does want to marry the good looking guy and there is a serious vampire problem. Oh wait, there were no vamps in Beauty and the beast.
Margo Bond Collins wrote a great story with Spectral Velocity. A little like Romeo and Juliet with spaceships.
Sleepless Beauty was a great urban legend, i loved the non traditional ending.
The origin of snow was really good. The witch was a great character and i loved the take on it.

The Beast Within

Sleepless Beauty by Erin Hayes

Jane and Hayden have been friends since early childhood when a dare in a haunted graveyard goes terribly wrong.

Wow - I loved this story which told the story of a ghost and what went wrong when a dare between friends went a bit too far. It had lots of surprises and as for the twist at the end - WOW. The story was well told and I was living through the events and emotions as the story developed.

The Origins of Snow

Wonderland Casino

Sleepless Beauty was great, another must read from Erin Hayes. A quick afternoon read for myself as well as my teen daughter. I loved how it borrowed a bit from Sleeping Beauty but was definitely it's own story, there's love, creepiness, suspense and some unexpected turns. I highly recommend this book!

OK, I am generally a sucker for anthologies because even if you don't love them all, odds are excellent you'll really enjoy at least one or more of the offerings. So I was able to snag a copy of author Erin Hayes' tale "Sleepless Beauty" and oh, I loved this! A great "coming of age" story with ghosts, revenge, cemeteries--and True Love. But, NOT your Disney Princess!

Sleepless Beauty by Erin Hayes

I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.

I loved reading this book!!! I am a big fan of this author's writing and every book i read of hers just makes me love her writing more and more!!! I was enthralled with this story from the first page right up until the last. This story really took me back to being a teenager, i think it's safe to say we have all had feelings for someone that either hasn't been returned or we just don't know how the other person feels. My love of ghost stories and urban myths stared when i was a teenger so i really related to this aspect of the story too.

I loved the storyline for this story, it was full of imagination with a lot of reality making us as readers really relate to the story. I loved how vivid the descriptions are within this book, you feel transported within the book so it's not just a story and i always think it's amazing how this author is able to write in such a way.

I loved reading Jane’s character, the main thing i loved about her is how she will go above and beyond for the people that she loves, this shows her high level of courage and determination!! It's obvious that she has a really big heart, she just needs to let others into it!

I loved this novella and would highly recommend this to other readers! Readers should definitely read this book and this author's other works as she is an amazing author!!!

OK I haven't finished the rest of the stories but I wanted to comment on the awesome twist to the story of Sleeping Beauty aptly named Sleepless Beauty by Erin Hayes. How this author was able to come up with a twist in the short story I will never understand but it is a goody and with an awesome cast of characters to make it work. I can't wait to see what else is in store for us from the rest of these tales.

The additional stories include a science fiction story of intergalactic cooperation between planets where forbidden love is found, werewolves and vampires who are the good guys and who are the bad; deceptions in the origin of snow. All you need to know is this is a great group of books with a special twist that give old favorite fairy tales an eerie new flavor.

This is not a classic fairy tale.
There you will find a ghost seeking revange, course, girl in love. But will everything be that obvious? Prepear for a lot of twists and great written story with a lot of elements!

Erin Hayes - Sleepless Beauty

I loved this twist on a classic fairy tail. The characters and the story had me hooked straight from the beginning. Especially the main character, she is a hoot and a loyal friend. Great read.
