This is a great book! There's a reason they don't teach philosophy in high schools it might end the arguments in society and politics they debated as we do today by creating free thinkers.
Once upon a time, some men used to argue about whether the Earth is a cylinder and has holes like a flute, whether the stars are musical, and whether wisdom is made of fire. There was also much to-do about whether Everything Stays the Same or Everything Changes and there were some who wanted to have it both ways. Some of this is the beginnings of math and philosophy, but the majority I always have trouble taking seriously. It prompts me to wonder if these are just the musings that happened to survive on paper, which in turn leads me to wonder what else burned up in the Library at Alexandria.
