Hard to put down. This is a fascinating tale of a ‘typical’ guy with marginal skills, despite his huge persistence and horniness (more on this later), with the ladies who sets out on a life changing adventure to assist a professional pick up artist and eventually has to face his own insecurities and blind spots.

Just like the book ‘The Game’ from Neil Strauss exposed the ‘secret’ society of Pick Up Artist to the world. ‘The Player’ exposes you to a world and mind-sets of a guy that aspires to do the same. But saying that it’s all about pussy would be to easy and wouldn’t give the book nor author enough props.

His quest is obvious; to hook up with as many beautiful women as possible. Bostjan clearly becomes prolific at social skill and seduction. Sounds like he becomes obsessed with getting laid (or he’s just continuously horny). But despite the many lay reports, where the author eventually hooks up or doesn’t hooks up with a girl this book is about HUSTLE more than anything.

This is the story about a guy that is willing to drop his 9 to 5 future and chase adventure to eventually find his purpose in life. This is about a guy who is willing to do anything and completely commit to getting the work done no matter what.
Reading his story and dedication to sleep with women (or his so-called horniness) will definitely piss off some people who don’t agree with the authors worldview. But despite disagreeing with the authors views, I urge you to read the book. Because if you read between the lines this horniness is actually the persistence to hustle and get the work done no matter what.

While most of the book reads as an introduction to the PUA world and language, acronyms etc.. There are more than enough stories, adventures and lessons to be learned in this very entertaining read by Bostjan.

A pretty fun read about Pick Up in specific and life in general.
