This was a really hot read. Edward was unable to talk to his wife about the feelings he was having which led him to cheat. Marianne is an amazing woman to give him another chance. I would have liked to know more about Matthew though.

I don't want to read because Edward is a cheater. It doesn't matter if he is closeted gay or truly bi, cheating is cheating. Sexuality does not have anything to do with monogamy. Now if Edward wants a polyamorous or open marriage, that is another matter. Either way, he needs to own up that he is not happy in his marriage and can no longer keep his wedding vows.

This MMF short story needed an elaboration on the characters Mark and Matthew. These two had no backstory. I liked Marianne and Edward, they were sweet.
I would have preferred that this had ended with all three living HEA together; but the ending was nice.

Three's absolutely a charm!

Maxene Novak writes mmf romance sooo well! I have been reading her books now for a while and they never disappoint! There are short stories that leave you hot and if mmf is your fantasy then these are the books for you. Look her up if you love a mmf romance some of her books are free so definitely worth trying I promise once tried you'll be looking for Maxene Novak everywhere.

Edward is happily married but has suppressed desires no one else around him expressed. He had no one to ask about these desires and his wife did not want to discuss any indiscretion he may have had. Meeting Mathew has brought these urges again to the forefront. Edward must decide if he has the courage to speak with his wife.
