My Thoughts - 5 out of 5 Unicorns - I loved it!!!
***I choose what I read and review based on what intrigues me!! Yes, I got a review copy of this book, but no one tells me what to think, feel, or write about any book!! And I bought my own copy already!

This is the 2nd book in this series, but it is still in Sable’s awesome shifter world where you know your mate when your mark glows and changes. Of course the bear yelling at you may indicate this as well! This book is for adults only due to the steamy content. While it isn’t mandatory to read them in order, you will be missing out if you don’t read them in order to know and love all the sassy sisters and Herb.

This is Abby and Clove’s story. Of course, there is drama and misunderstandings, but it makes it that much better. I love how they irritate each other, but always come together. They are like magnets pushing each other away and then one of them reverses to pull them back together. I like both of them, but Alice is still my fav!

I recommend this book to any HEA fan who loves bear shifters and sassy women!

This is book 2 in the new series. It is a stand alone book with a awesome HEA. I recommend this book to all shifter lovers, I love bears and this book did not let me down. Siblings #2, can they get their happy ending and not kill each other. Looking forward to the next book in the series. Happy reading.

I loved how Abby and Clove had to work through their issues. His attitude was hot and cold and kept Abby on her toes. I was glad when they work everything out and got on to the happy. I would recommend this books.

Over Christmas vacation Abigail "Abby" comes home to work on her thesis for school. She's content, she's the only one here besides her sister Alice and Alice's fiance Herb. So when Clive arrives home to work on his thesis they are in for a big surprise. Can these two get along for a day? Or will both be miserable? Great read

What an interesting story. I loved book one but I have to say I loved this book just as much. In book one we got to know the Quincy Sisters and also the Scoville Brothers. Alice and Herbert are now engaged and now each of the Quincy sister are having to share space with one of the Scoville brothers. This is gong to get very interesting.

I loved that this was the theme of Beauty and the Beast. Never fear the Author gave it her own twist of course. This book is about Abby and Clove. These two have this fire between them and the more it seems they both deny their feelings the hot the fire is that burns inside them.

I love that even though Clove is trying to keep distance between him and Abby, He is very protective of her. Don’t think he will not step up to the plate and protect her. But I guess you will have to read the book to find out more about that.

I love how Herbert and the other Quincy sister tried pushing Abby and Clove together. This is almost more then the two of them can bare. It does not help that Clove is fighting with his bear. His bear is not liking the way Clove is ignoring Abby.

There is so much chemistry between Clove and Abby. I so can to wait to see what the rest of the series holds for us.

Abigail Quincy was home for her break before Christmas. There was going to be family time and time to work on her Thesis for her Master’s program from school. Since she was out two weeks before her other sisters were due to return she had hoped that she would have some quiet time to work on that thesis. What Abby hadn’t counted on is her future brother-in-law, Clove, was going to be there. Did this just add some distraction from all her plans to work on that Thesis. Clove is counting on a few days of quiet himself. His Thesis is also due soon after break. The distraction created by Abby will only add to his problems. These two must work things out and it doesn’t help that the Bear in Clove is drawn to the curvy Abby and that Abby doesn’t get much sleep thinking about Clove. How these two work out their new relationship gives a cute turn to this story that is part of The Feminine Mesquite series. Fun, and hot and I don’t mean just the barbeque sauce that the family offers at their store

Now that the Quincy sisters and the Scoville brothers are working together the new company's name is the Feminine mesquite. Clove is a polar bear Shifter and 2nd oldest. While Abigail is the 2nd oldest in her family too but she is completely human. After the engagement party for their older siblings Clove and Abigail found some time to be alone things get a little hot. Both are the next to graduate so they have to part for school. Clove's bear knows he wants Abigail and Abigail is getting wiplash with Cloves' mood changes
Lots of drama and action in this one. They were fun to read I can't give anything away but really this was fun.

I received this book for a voluntary and honest review.

In this book we get Abigail "Abby" Quincy and Clove Scoville's story. Each of these two think that the other doesn't like them. Abby however isn't willing to just give up she thinks there is more to Clove then most people see. She just isn't sure she can get him to open up to her. Will she figure out what is holding him back or will she loose out on something amazing?

Clove is worried about getting to close to anyone because he knows he can't control his shift. He comes back to the house in Texas hoping for a little peace and quiet to work on his studies, little did he know that Abby would be home too. The more time he spends her the more he finds that his polar bear wants to come out and play. Can he control the bear or will the bear control him?

This is another short story in this series that packs a punch. It also shows us that if you aren't willing to take a chance how can you ever get the greatest prizes? This book is amazing full of twists and turns. I would really like to tell you all about them but don't want to ruin it for any other readers. I would however highly recommend this book to anyone and everyone.

I really enjoyed Clove and Abby's story. It was a entertaining read, that had a side of drama and romance. The main characters were likable and had great chemistry, even when they were giving each other the evils. There were a few interesting twist and turns, which made the storyline even more enjoyable. This book had a nice easy feel about it and flowed smoothly. Although I liked book one, I think I preferred this one. So I'm looking forward to reading the third book in the series to see what comes next for the Scoville brothers and Quincy sisters.

This is book 2 in The Feminine Mesquite series which follows the 5 Quincy sisters & how their lives intersect with the 5 Norwegian polar shifter brothers, the Scovilles. In this story we follow the second eldest of each family who are both seniors in college & trying to complete their thesis so they can graduate in the spring. She thinks he’s a pushy know-it-all while she makes him feel like he’s being examined & judged. They both show up to the Mesquite Manor during winter break to have some quite time to work & don’t realize the other is there until too late. We get to follow along as they overcome differences & misunderstandings to finally admit their attraction for each other.
This was another great story by Sable Sylvan with likable characters & a fun story. All in all a nice evenings read.

Neither had been in contact since their siblings engagement party where they became very well acquainted. Each believes the other is no longer interested. Their chemistry says otherwise. No matter how big Alice and Herb had built the shared home, it wasn't big enough for the two of them and his polar bear.

What has come between them? Will they find a way to overcome their problems? Read on to find out how the family can co-habitat with romance and breakups. They share a business. Will they all be able to work together with this misunderstanding between them?

Spicy!
This is the second story in a series of 5. Which are about 5 BBW sisters the Quincy's and 5 Polar Bear shifters the Scoville's. This is Abigail and Clove's story. Both whom came home to Fallowedirt, Texas, over the Christmas break to work on their respective college thesis. Each not knowing the the other would be there. And resist the pull they feel for each other, no matter how they pretend they don't care for each other, and hide their growing emotions. All while helping their older siblings develop a spicy BBQ sauce!

This is Clove and Abigail's story . The start is a bit slow but man does it heat up !! Clove is so worried about being a beast and Abby is just so dang sassy that she has no problem letting him know what she wants and how she feels ! I liked the way Sable Sylvan has written this in such a way as to be real . This is a short well written and truly thought out story . I recommend this to everyone . I loved the way that this couple tried so hard and the long distance relationship wow they did great !

An ARC was given to me and I agreed to voluntarily review it. My opinions are my own. This is second in a series where sisters and brothers have met and it starts off adversarial. In this second story this next set of brothers and sisters have a serious attraction and is fighting it with all they have to ignore it. They have a few obstacles in their path to help them with their fight. This is a fun read. Enjoy I did.

You would think that the stories would get a little predictable and in a sense they do but always with a twist to the story which makes it worth reading. I'm so sorry I finished this series but I heard they continue on in another series so it will be great to see how they're doing and meet some new characters! I thoroughly enjoyed this series and look forward to some new ones especially the Bear Buns!! Sounds yummy!!

I chose to read and review this book. I am a fan of this author and enjoy her work. Everything is well written the plot the flow and characters are a joy to meet. I love this series so good. This is a sweet one I enjoyed the interactions between Abigal and Clove it is full of steam hotness sparks that fly everywhere action suspense I could not put it down I recommend it and can't wait for the next one

In this second book of the Feminine Mesquite series, Ms. Sylvan has once again given us a fantastic story. Abby is the sister of Allie from the first book, and she is a curvy "Beauty." Clove, Herb's polar-bear-shifting brother is a "Beast," so much so that he fears never finding love. Abby and Clove strike sparks off each other, both in lust and tempers. Ms. Sylvan brings her characters to life, and pulls the reader right into the story. I highly recommend this book.

I enjoyed this book, the scene was set during book one and provided what I expected.

Saying that I was confused why the hero had such a downer on himself, what was happening didn't come across as bad as he made out, perhaps I missed something.

All in all I enjoyed it and am going to check out book 3

I loved the heat and that bit of chemistry they had right from the beginning and when they first met properly. The banter between them was good and I loved how they just riled each other up. I loved how this series isn’t just about mates for the whole book and has a little bit of everything in it. I enjoyed how Clove and Abby were both just stubborn until they finally gave in.

Beauty and The BBQ is the #2 book in the series "The Feminine Mesquite". It is as delicious as the first book in this series. This one involves Clove and Abby, the two second to the oldest kids in both families, the Quinceys and the Scovilles. Are they true mates? Why is there such hostility between them? And does ex-boyfriend, Jason have any chance of winning back Abby?
Two people in their last semester of college, both trying to finish their thesis, sharing a suite of rooms, and trying to avoid each other. To find out what the story of these two is then you will need to read the book. It is fantastically well written and this reader absolutely loved it! Can't wait to read the rest of this series.
