It my book, so take the rating for however much you want to value it. But I do think Ajei and I did a great job drafting a really compelling and engaging narrative.
What I liked: Evan and Isabella are faithful to each other. No sex with OW after meeting. I believe that Evan has not been with anyone since his wife. If he was then I missed that reference. Either way it is refreshing that that Evan is not a manwhore. Too many heroes are, and I am so sick of it.
Also, both Evan and Isabella are sympathetic and likable characters. Evan was willing marry Isabella even though she was pregnant with OM’s baby, something that he was not expecting when he agreed to marry her. Evan lost his wife and child and was ready to be part of a family again. He made it clear to her that her baby was his baby even though he is not the biological father. Isabella was physical and mentally abused by her ex-boyfriend and needed the protection that Evan could provide. She came to develop deep feelings for Evan, realizing what a good man he is.
What I wish was different: I never believed that Evan loved nor wanted Isabella as much as his deceased wife, Laura. For one when they had sex, he called out Laura’s name as he was coming. Not really a mystery of who he was thinking about. It seemed to bother me more than Isabella. That was another thing I had a problem with. She should have been really upset. Who wouldn’t be? Instead she instantly forgave him and understood why. Really? Also, it wasn’t until the end of the story that Evan told Isabella that he loved her. When he did, I didn’t feel it, at all. It was telling and not showing. Isabella’s feeling for Evan felt more genuine.
Talking about telling and not showing the love making scenes were lacking in feeling and heat. That could have been because I didn’t feel any chemistry between them before they did the deed. Also, at least my version of the book needed further editing.

This is a well written deeply emotional story that packs quite a punch even though it isn't a very long book at all believe me you aren't short changed in any way.
Dr. Evan Hunter and Isabella Elliot are both lost souls and thy both go to True Match Arrangements hoping to find a future. He lost his wife to cancer and even though he wants a wife and family he doesn't want to love again. She is running from an abusive ex and just wants a good father for her baby. Can these two damaged souls find what they need in one another and will they actually find a love that allows them to start to dismantle the walls they have around their hearts You will have to read to see.
I actually liked this one more then the first one. This one had more depth. There were some typos and things. I made notes and corrections. They weren't terrible. In this book Evan and Isabella are entering into an arranged marriage through an agency. She is already pregnant. I think because I've gone through pregnancy a few times that this really resonated and I could relate to the character a lot more. However I'm on the fence if this is a complete novel for these characters or if this is a cliffhanger. I interpreted it as a cliffhanger. There was no resolution with the douche canoe ex. In fact the last couple of sentences from his perspective was that he couldn't let her get away with this and it was only a matter of time before Evan left Isabella. That makes me think he's not done with his stalking ways and he's going to be waiting for an opportunity to get at her. Maybe I'm looking to much into it but that's what it read like. The ending was a bit abrupt too. Evan was like I love you and that was pretty much it. I'm still kind of pissed at him for calling Isabella Laura after an orgasm. He didn't make up for that infraction in my eyes. I don't know a lot of women in love or not who would let a statement like that be brushed off. Pretty sure no one would allow that even if they aren't in love it's a matter of respect. Therefore I would've liked to see an more in depth understanding happen between these two. They had some serious things to work through. Isabella was in therapy and learning and getting better but Ethan belonged there too. He just seemed stuck with no growth. Which makes the ending not work for me as is. Unless this is a cliffhanger. Which has me confused one way or another so I had to dock a star cause I just didn't know. Otherwise it's a fast paced read and is more in depth with the characters. I would recommend.
Evan and Isabella make a deal and marry. What neither expects is to fall in love and have the other fit so seamless into their lives. When her past comes back will he stand by her side?

I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book Isabella Elliot knew it was time, time to stop running and get on with her life. She was only 23 and wanted some happiness in her life for a change . Joining True Match Arrangements was the best thing she ever did. It was there she met her now husband Dr Evan Hunter. Although older at 39, he was a gifted top Pediatric Oncologist. She knew he would look after her and the baby she was carrying but love!!! That was a separate issue. One step at a time, happiness, security then love. Dr Evan Hunter wasn't over grieving his dead wife Lisa but he wanted something more, a wife and a child. Isabella was just what he wanted but what if fate dictated that your happiness could be taken away again, what would you do. The story of Isabella and Evan, finding their own path in life, what works for them and having to deal with Tommy, the abusive ex that Isabella tries to forget. A story of emotions, feelings and a love waiting to take seed and grow. Isabella becoming the woman she was meant to be. A brilliant read. Loved it.
Isabella and Evan both have a sad past history. They are paired together through True Match Arrangement to see if they can both get what they need from each other without getting hurt in the process. I really enjoyed this book because Isabella had endured so much in her past relationship and with Evan she was able to grow and become a stronger person. Evan was finally able to let his old wounds heal and live again. It was also nice catching up with Bianca and Jay from the first book. This is the second book that I've read by this author and they have now been added to my read list. These books are short but pack a punch! I look forward to reading more books by this author.

I really liked this book too... glad to see Bianca & Jay again... I really enjoyed Isabella & Evan.. they both knew what they wanted... knew love wasn't it.. but when a threat from the past rears its ugly head...the love they didn't need is there... Great job on this book.. I look forward to more.!!
This is book two of the True Match Arrangements series and sees billionaire doctor Evan Hunter and pregnant single woman Isabella Elliot matched together by True Match. She needs a good home for herself and her baby, as she has recently escaped a bad relationship and is pregnant and all alone. Evan lost his wife and son some ten years ago and she was the love of his life. He has been alone ever since, but misses having company and doesn’t want to be alone any longer. An arranged marriage with someone intelligent, beautiful and well suited to be his wife and to hopefully have a family with.
It was a simple arrangement, with no expectation or need of love in the contract, but a future family to come. But being in close quarters and trying to get to know Evan, leaves Isabella feeling more and more attracted to him and wanting to move the physical side on, whilst she isn’t too heavily pregnant. Once she is showing, she feels she will feel ugly and unwanted. Her previous partner did a number on her and her self-esteem and self-worth is definitely having to be worked on. She turns out to be a great match for Evan and shows an interest in his work, having studied to be a nurse and almost completing her degree until told to stop studying by her ex, as he could keep her!
She knows a better life was out there and this is her chance. She knows that her ex will not be happy that she left, but she hoped he would never find her, as she took on Evan’s surname. Unfortunately his high profile leads to lots of public outings and events and lots of photos online. Isabella tries to get Evan to take some time out and to get to know each other and it seems to work. Can their match now be a true love match? A much fuller storyline and nice piece of romance. I do wish there wasn’t this huge need for the men to all be billionaires these days, but it seems to be the trend nowadays. A good romantic storyline, with a couple of really good characters and hope for love. I received an ARC copy of this book from BookSprout and I have freely given my own opinion of the book above.
This is the story of Isabella and Evan. They passed through difficult events in life. He is a widower. He had the perfect life, beautiful expecting wife, the love of his life. While she was pregnant, she got a diagnostic of terminal cancer. Both, her baby and her died leaving Evan alone and sad. Isabella is a strong woman that had a brilliant future even the circumstances of her childhood. She basically grew up alone and was able to graduate early and when to college with a full scholarship. However, she met Tommy and her life changed. He was an abusive man that hurt her physically and emotionally. After his last attack, she decided to escape, leaving everything behind and disappear. After knowing she was pregnant, she did not want her kid grow up in the same environment she grew up. Once she established in Seattle, she decided to sign up in True Match Arrangements to find a man that could be a good dad for her baby, no love needed. That was the way Isabella and Evan met. They are True Match. He wants a family with kids, no love to a wife. But what will happen when Isabella fall in love with Evan and get closer to him breaking all the walls he built to protect his heart after lost Laura. What will happen when Tommy finally found Isabella and suspect he is her baby's dad? Will Tommy destroy Isabella and Evan's family and take away their baby? Great story and characters. I loved the develop of characters and plot. Highly recommended.

I enjoyed reading, Billionaire's Contacted Family by Jen A. Durand. Sometimes a marriage of convenience can turn into something else when we least expect it. Isabella was pregnant and running from her past. Dr. Evan Hunter had lost his wife to cancer. Both needed each other without all the feelings of love, but sometimes love comes when we least expect it and that is what it did in this story. They both needed each other for different reasons and they fulfilled those reasons. It was a sweet story with some angst thrown in there. . Isabella was a strong woman who knows what she wanted and who and Dr. Evan Hunter needed her and her baby and was willing to fight for them both. I would recommend reading this book. It was a good story!!

Evan is a successful doctor, mid thirties and widower. The loss of his wife and child is still heavy on him, even after 10 years. But as he is looking for companionship he goes to an agency to match him with a woman to have a marriage of convenience. Isabel - his match - is a young woman, pregnant and afraid of her ex, who was very controlling. for Evan it feels perfect - he has a ready-made family with her and her child. They live comfortably together - the reader gets snippets over the next 7 months. After the baby is born, her ex shows up. It makes Evan realise how important Isabel and the baby have become to him. A wonderful love story, where love sneaked in and surprised both. Well-written and entertaining. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Isabella Elliot was running from her past and wanted a bright future, she joins True Match Arrangements were she gets connected with Dr. Evan Hunter. This arrangement is not love for either one of them because he wants a wife and child for the family he lost and she wants someone to take care of her child and her and protect her from an abusive ex that is her childs father. This book is full of twists and turns. love, hate and revenge... I absolutely recommend this author and her books is was a delight to read just wish it was longer and not just a short story would have loved to see what could have happened.

This is the second book in the True Match Arrangements series. This is a shorter story, but a very deep and emotional one. Evan and Isabella are both lost souls and both needed someone to share their lives with for their own reasons. They didn't want anything to do with love, just the security of having someone. What they got from each other was more than what they bargained for and more than what they were expecting. Although they both have some deep healing to do, they definitely have a chance at a future together. Don't miss this beautiful story of healing and loving and two lost souls coming together and finding happiness. Loved the story!

Main Female Character: Amazing Intestinal Fortitude - 3.5 Stars
The story Ms. Durand tells is a good one. She showcases the main female character's past, both with her family, and with her abusive ex-boyfriend. What an amazingly strong and determined woman she was. She was a person who did not let her past shape her future. More importantly, she always moved forward and never moaned about her past troubles.Very good message; a female role model for us.

Whenever a book can invoke both a fire for passion and a strong urge to beat the crap out of someone, I call it a winner.
Great flow, great characters and especially great chemistry between Isabella and Evan. I’m so looking forward to seeing what or I should say, who is next with True Match Arrangements.

Isabella and Evan have an arranged marriage. He's a widower that wants a family and Isabella needs a husband for protection. There's an instant attraction when they meet but there are now challenges in their new marriage; his former in laws, her ex and convincing everyone that they are in love. I love the way the author presented the issue of domestic abuse. Although it was a quick read it was engaging from beginning to end. Recommended read.

A lovely story of two people damaged by different events who come together for convenience. Evan lost his college sweetheart and their first baby to cancer and has dedicated his life to his work. Isabella left an abusive relationship the moment she found out she was pregnant. Two very different people, from different backgrounds, with an age gap looking to fulfill a need without the complication of love. An enjoyable read.

I really enjoyed this book more than I thought I would as I'm not a big fan or arranged marriages but this was completely different to what I was expecting in a good way. I loved the relationship between Isabella and Evan. I liked that Isabella was shown to be a strong women even with her past being as it was and that Evan didn't walk on egg shells around her. Really loved the plot, I've never read a book quite liked this before but definitely enjoyed it and would read again.

This is my third book I’ve read today by this author; insomnia has its good points at times, having great books to read is one of them. I loved the plot and found it intriguing and enjoyable. The main characters are wonderful together, they are two injured souls who find each other when they both need help to heal.

Enjoyed this story of a mother's love. Isabella is a woman who found her inner strength and changes her life. Evan is a self made man who lost his wife and child and felt he could never love again. Through a matchmaking service they meet and move forward, join them on their adventure into life. Great characters.

A story that is enjoyable from start to finish. Wonderful characters you'll easily fall in love, love getting to know throughout the story and feel like you're part of their family when you finish the book. The story line flows smoothly, is well written and captivating making it hard to put the book down at times.

This is the second book in this series and it is just as good as the first. I just wished the story was longer. The story was well written, the characters fit well together and have sizzling chemistry. I will be on the look out for more stories from this author. A must read.
Sweet story about love, loss, and rediscovery, Isabella was happy with the contract marry Evan be a good wife and forget Tommy the father of her expected baby. Evan after losing his wife had been alone to long he needed a family, but was it the right move. Has a lovely warm feel good vibe about it.

Once again this author spend the first 15 pages for the summaries of her other stories. The story is also written in the third point of view. Some people like that, others dontt care, but for me it makes the story impersonal. 3.5 stars.
