Untamed is a fast-paced, fun romance novella with a touch of suspense and steam. It's very well-written and was a great, quick read.

It's one thing to have a crush on billionaire playboy Nathan Landers from a distance, it's a whole different thing to have him kiss you all of a sudden in the middle of a major wardrobe malfunction at a formal gala.

Samantha is a smart, funny and quirky character who follows her heart even though her head and her friends, warn her that Nathan Landers is bad news. He's not one for settling down. He's not one for relationships. And worst of all, he may be dabbling in criminal activity. But, the heart wants what the heart wants and Sam gives Nathan a chance after he comes to her rescue (again).

He's not afraid to throw around his money to make sweet gestures towards Samantha, both small and grand, but Sam is trying to take things slow to protect her heart from being broken. The chemistry and the banter between Sam and Nathan is fabulous throughout and I thought they made a great match! I loved that Sam didn't immediately cave and fall for his gifts and flattery. I also really liked that Nathan was genuinely a thoughtful and sweet guy underneath his mask of cockiness and confidence.

Great happy ending after a major twist that I did not see coming at all! Well played Ms. Blakely! :)

This Story was a crazy and joyful ride. I would have never guessed that I would enjoy this so much. I am known for not being a fan of INSTA anything but this story really drew a picture that worked. There were moments that I could not relate to the characters but the total was really well done. While I felt the characters could have been a tad deeper they still held enough background to relate to them. I did not like everything in the development of their relationship but it was well constructed and I can recommend this book to others - so enjoy.

I thought this book was ok. It was supposed to be a romance, but I thought the relationship between ...Geez I just finished the book and I had to go back and look to see what the characters names were. Samantha and Nathan. I thought the relationship between them fell flat. Actually the book seemed more about Sam, not about Sam and Nathan.

Sam is a photographer who works for a magazine and goes to ritzy parties to get photographs of the elite and upperclass. But she wants to photography wildlife. So instead she compares the humans around her to animals based on their personalities.

Nathan a self made billionaire who she has seen at many functions suddenly notices her and tells her she stands out even when she tries to hide. (If that were the case than why has he never approached her before? Whatever.)


They "click" and end up sleeping together, but what irritates me, is he gets up and leaves immediately and tells her to go back to sleep. When she wakes up he's gone, or is still not there. I found that a little insulting. He sleeps with her and pulls a runner, so she snoops around his apartment and finds a book of pictures and phone numbers of all the women he has been with. This is what upsets her and sends her fleeing from his home. This is the reason she avoids his phone calls and sends back his flowers. She knew he was a playboy before she ever hooked up with him. He made her feel special and made her think she was different, so the thing that would have bothered me more was the fact that he left and never came back after getting what he wanted. THEN when they finally make up, they hook up in his office and immediately when its over he drops her on the couch and starts getting dressed and starts ruffling through papers on his desk... What? So both times she finally gave in to him physically, as soon as it was over he was back to business as usual. That annoyed the crap out of me. And that is why I didn't find the relationship between them believable.

Also I felt there was a lack of closure. She took her dream job and they have a long distance relationship. They see each other once a month, maybe. And this suddenly reformed playboy is ok with this because Sam is so great... NOT in the first couple weeks of their relationship she jumps to conclusions more than once and doesn't trust him. But she decides if its going to work she will just have to trust him. Because thats apparently how trust works. So I guess thats enough for him to love her while she travels the world. No, long distance relationships need foundation. With foundation you build trust. None of that happened, it was all too quick.

Ugh this book just annoyed me.

And I'm not someone who understands other peoples fascination with animals. So all the animal analogies was very blah to me. Just not my book I guess.

There were two bonus books that were included with this book, but I didn't bother to read them. I didn't want more blah.

At the end there is also an epilogue. I was hoping it would bring some closure to their relationship, maybe a marriage proposal or some kind of commitment beyond "we have this long distance relationship that somehow works after dating for a minute." But no, in fact she ends up thinking he's cheating on her because of some really weird circumstantial evidence that does not suggest he is cheating AT ALL. So it just proves she doesn't actually trust him. And the epilogue with them in exactly the same place they were when the book ended. Long distance relationship. It was weird. No point in even having he epilogue at all really. It did absolutely nothing to advance their story.

Nathan is a millionaire who attends these party.

Sam has always had a crush on Nathan, and at one of these parties Nathan kisses her to get another woman to leave him alone.
Sam and Nathan end up dating but there is a lot of twist, turns and suspicion along the way.

But as with all good books everyone gets what they want, and a very happy ending.

A very enjoyable read. Nathan is a fascinating billionaire who meets sexy photographer named Samantha at a party. Sam has a real crush on Nathan since meeting him previously at another party but she won't admit it to anyone. Their world collide with a hot kiss and what happens next is breathtaking. What fascinated me most about the story is Nathan’s persistence on chasing Sam because although beautiful Sam is quite unsure of her charm. Nathan on the other hand is attracted to her like a moth to a flame and this is all new to him because he is usually the one being chased. The story has some twists and moments of suspense but the author makes sure not to leave out sexy and steamy scenes. I highly recommend this book.

Great quick read. Sam and Nathan are what society would claim as an unlikely paring, which is why they work. I would love (hope) to maybe see this as a series with other characters getting their own books. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.

Untamed is a really good story with a few twists, well-written, with characters that are well-developed. It is fast-paced and even though it has a few sex scenes, they are not the main focus of the story. It is a stand alone with a HEA.

Nathan's and Sam's chemistry is great and Mrs Blakely manages to pull the reader in from page one. Nathan is a hot billionaire bad boy that know what he wants and goes after it. Sam is funny, quirky, and at times a bit insecure. They make a good pair.

I received this book as an ARC for an honest review. I enjoyed this book, style is a little different than some of the other books that I've read by this author. This is more than just a romance novel. Don't get me wrong there are some pretty hot scenes but there a couple of unexpected twists, and a little bit of danger. If you've read books from this author before, you can expect your typical hot billionaire and your insecure female character who creates obstacles because she doesn't feel worthy of the attention. Would have given it 5 stars if there was a little more time spent on Nathan and Sam's relationship.

I have loved all the Kira Blakely books that I have read but I have to say that this book is my favorite. There was just something about Samantha and Nathan that draws you in from the first time they meet. I could not put the book down. There were so many twists and turns in the plot that it kept me on the edge of my seat. The chemistry between them was electric. The friendship that developed between them was sweet. I loved the book and I loved the characters. I was sad to see this book end. I was hoping for more of Samantha and Nathan. Nice job on this one Kira Blakely. I can't wait until your next one.

I so enjoyed reading Untamed. What a gripping, fabulous read from an author who knows how to deliver the goods. This books has all the ingredients that make up a suspenseful, sexy romantic story with a twist. You won't be disappointed in this journey.

Her message at the end is something we should all strive for...always spread your wings and fly, do what you love, what your passionate about no matter what. You choose your happiness.

Sam is just doing her job and minding her own business when she has a wardrobe malfunction! When Nathan Launders tans up to her and starts kissing her what's a single gal to do? Kiss back of, course! How often do you get a chance to kiss an alpha billionaire? Of, course it soon becomes clear he's doing it to get someone off his back he's no longer interested in! Are the rumors true? Is he just a womanizer? When Nathan offers to replace Sam's dress so she can get home she agrees, but how does he have all of these dresses?
Will their relationship end before it really begins? But there was something in that kiss that had both of them wanting more and being drawn to each other.
With twist, turn & questions arising it keeps you guessing to the end!

This was an easy, fairly quick read.

Samantha Willis is a photographer, however, she’d rather be photographing animals in the wild, instead of smartly dressed people at society functions. To pass the time, she plays a game with herself where she pictures each person as a particular animal. When the lion that is tech billionaire, Nathan Landers, kisses her in an effort to shrug off unwanted female attention, Sam suddenly finds her life more interesting.

Nathan Landers is suave, sophisticated and sexy, but under his tailored suits is a wild, untamed animal. He’s a known player and Sam is surprised by his pursuit of her.

What starts off as something promising is complicated by suspicion, gossip and danger, and Sam is unsure if she can trust Nathan, not just with her heart but with her life.

This was one of those books that had a great plot and was well written, and I enjoyed the writing style. The characters were pretty strong and I liked their connection and chemistry. Nonetheless, what I would have liked was a slightly longer book that drew out the suspense, the danger, and the mystery; that explored the budding relationship between Nathan and Sam more, and even possibly gave us a Nathan’s POV.

Overall, a good read and I’d definitely like to read more from this author.

Sam's a photographer at fancy parties to pays the bills, but her dream is to take pictures of animals big animals like in Africa 7 while taking these party photo's she gives each person an animal identity. When she's walking out of the ladies room after trying to fix her teared dress, she's grabbed and kissed by Nathan, New York’s, hottest, sexiest, womanizer & her secret crush. He informs the woman following him, Casey, that Sam's his girlfriend. Sam follows Nathan to his suite when he offers her another dress & they go to dinner. Then Sam gets blackmailed by another photographer, who's interested, to have dinner with him. Nathan saves her from this guy. They end up in bed & having sex, but the next morning Nathan has left...
This story has lots of twists & turns & i really enjoyed it.

He quickly tells Casey the woman following him that Sam is his girlfriend and she leaves. Nathan offers Sam a dress to finish her evening in and they decide to go to dinner. When this sleazy photographer blackmails her because he has pictures of her and Nathan she goes just to get rid of him but Nathan sees her run and saves her from the guy. They end up in bed and the next morning Nathan is gone but she discovers an envelope with Nathan and other women. Well she takes it for what is worth and vows never to see him again but he surprises her by buying a animal shelter.
Sam is quick to judge Nathan and they have a lot of misunderstandings but she wants so much to believe him because she loves him. Nathan is careful with women because they use him for things and gifts so Sam is refreshing to him. I just loved the give and take of this relationship and I would love to read more about them.

Untamed by Kira Blakely an untameable five-star read. I am so in love with Kira Blakely, she writes hot and heavy love stories. I have major girl crushage right now. This book is great, you get your HEA, but maybe not the one you are expecting, no cheating, just honest hot fun. It takes you on a journey and you come out the other side with a smile on your face and a happy ending in the best way possible.
We meet Nathan Landers head of Landers Innovations, one of the hottest men alive and Time magazines incumbent person of the year, at a charity Gala where Prima Vida photographer Samantha Willis is imagining people as animals instead of naked like normal people do when then are intimidated by a room full of strangers. They meet when she has decided to leave after ruining her dress, and he runs over and kisses her with no warning. To get away from a lady who has been determined to get her claws into him. Fate seems to have it in for both of them, neither are looking for what they find that night.
They take you on a journey and its full of ups and downs, takes us to places I have only dreamed about and makes us love Nathan even though at some points you want to hate him, is he really the bad guy we think? Or is it a case of mistaken identity, much like the lion in the wild, gets a bad rap for just being himself at times.

A great book by Kira Blakey about a photographer, Samantha, and a playboy billionaire, Nathan. A book about lust/love, some mystery, some suspense and steamy scenes. I really enjoyed Sam, she was strong and beautiful who also knew how to stick up for herself, not letting anyone walk over her. Nathan was a womanizer and cocky until he met Sam and tries everything to get her back when she shuts him out.
I would have liked to know what Nathan was thinking or his feelings when he looks at Sam and an epilogue to see where they end up. Otherwise a great read that once you start you won't put it down.

My favorite part of this book was honestly the animal theme (I adore animals). In a very round about way this book brings attention to what some poor animals have to endure at the cruelty of humans. This book in no way talks about abusing animals AT ALL, just to make that clear!! It just Sam the heroine talking about when she grew up on a farm how important all animals are to her and she makes goals to help save them. She unknowingly even has the hero Nathan open a dog shelter for strays after there first encounter goes horribly wrong, lol

Sam was so sassy, smart & caring but, she lacked a little confidence in my opinion. But she was the first woman to ever put Nathan in his place.

Nathan was a arrogant, cocky billionaire but, we find out how big his heart is. I enjoyed him pursuing Sam and you could tell it was uncharted territory for him constantly worried she would run.

This was a story with some suspense that pulls you in with some unexpected things. You will fill draw to the characters as they connect with you. The twist of being wealthy and when you feel that connection with some one that can complete you, they are just a little insecure with themselves. Nathan knows what he wants and when he has set his sight on Samantha. What is Samantha to do when this very sexy billionaire wants you? She has her doubt and the chase begins and the twist and turn. Recommend this book

This is a short, steamy read with a twist.

Sparks fly between Sam(antha) and Nathan and their romance soon heats up, but all is not plain sailing.

The plot veers from the normal when the action moves to Africa and a major twist occurs.

The story moves along at a good pace and the characters are well developed, including the secondary characters.

The only fly in the ointment for me was Sam's behaviour towards Nathan. She was oh so quick to leap to conclusions, believe the worst of him, and vilify him on more than one occasion. I felt like telling her to grow up!

This was my first read by this author and I will most definitely read more. I found this to be well written, steamy with a great story and some nice surprising twists. Just the kissing scenes were steamy without anything else added and those other scenes were icing on the cake. Nathan Landers may very well be my current favorite book boyfriend. I found Sam to be a breath of fresh air and Nathan's attempts to make things right may have been over the top but still fun to watch.

I loved this book - all the animal references started out funny, but it quickly became a more suspenseful romance book. Nathan was pegged all wrong. It took some twists and turns to show us who he really was. I loved how spunky Samantha was, despite the fact that she was afraid to take a chance in life. Great steamy romance and mystery. I loved this book and didn't want to put it down. Nathan Landers, a billionaire, meets Samantha, a photographer for a magazine, when he starts kissing her in a hallway to get away from a crazy girl. Full of surprises and twists all of which keep you glued to the storyline!! Sam is trying to find her true passion and Nathan is trying to help her. They give each other what they have been missing! Best quote of the book: "Fall with me, Sam."

I love Kira's book and this one is not exception.
Nathan is a billionaire who writes apps and can have any woman he wants.
Sam is a photographer who longs to take pictures of animals but is stuck taking pictures at "rich charity events." She has seen Nathan and has as secret crush on him.
When their worlds collide can Nathan really want Sam and can Sam believe that someone like Nathan would want her? I was surprised that Nathan keeps going back to Sam when she is so unsure of herself and what she really wants.
This book has plenty of steamy scenes but it has several twist that will keep the reader's attention.
Another great book from Kira that gave me a few surprises.

Amazing twist towards the end, even though I guessed it right away but how it was gonna come about was so good. Love a strong heroine & Sam definitely was, especially when she actually meets Nathan for the first time & takes him down a peg. Loved how caring Nathan was when he wasn't putting up a front. All around amazing story pacing, character build, mystery/ suspense, & the bits of romance. Would absolutely recommend :)

Untamed is an amazing book full of twist and turns, second guessing and leaves you flipping the pages to find the answers to the next question. Sam is a photographer and Nathan owns his own company. One kiss is all it takes to form a connection but can they come out on top of all the deception and questions Sam has for Nathan? A definite must read!

Sam is quirky yet interesting and has no problem speaking her mind no wonder Nathan felt such a strong attraction. Nathan is use to telling him what he wants to hear. To have someone speak her mind no matter if they disagreed it was refreshing. A fast paced story full of romance and drama.

I , honestly, enjoyed this book . It was a very quick, captivating story with some major twists and turns this reader did not see coming at all!!!! It held my attention so much that I read this book in one sitting.

If you enjoy a good love story with some twists and turns - you must read this one. You will not be disappointed.
