Surprised by Change in How This Book's Main Character
I was surprised that the main character in this book was not Marti but Seth. Also, surprised how, long chapter one was. It was a good setup for the rest of the book.
If you have enjoyed other Cyn's books, you will want to read this.
I was glad that there was less sex in this book, but glad that it was not totally missing.

Great story
This is the second book in this series. You do need to read the first. What happened to Seth was horrific and he is still trying to deal with it. Loving Marti has helped Jim tremendously but he still feels there are things he needs to do. There is some humor even though parts of this are horrific. I really came to care about Seth and Marti in the first book, so it was good to read more about them.

Best Served Cold, the 2nd book in Cyn Mackly's Martha Garrett Mysteries is as amazing and heart touching/wrenching as all of her books.
