في يوم 13 من فبراير تتقابل "فيلما" وهي فتاة رقيقة تعمل مع "فرانكي" في مكان واحد، وهي قد اعجبت به وانتظرته خارج العمل كي يوصلها ولكن عوضاً عن ذلك ذهبت معه إلي منزله، وبدأ هو بشرب الخمر بينما اخذت هي تحكي له عن حياتها...

"فرانكي" يكتب الشعر، بينما "فيلما" تحكي له انها تعمل في وظيفتين في نفس الوقت، وتحكي عن أمها، تحكي الكثير عن أنها لم تتلق ابداً بطاقة او هدية في الفالنتاين ثم تحكي له ان امها قررت الذهاب من المنزل.

ام "فيلما" تراها سيئة دميمة دائماً، وترى عيوبها طوال الوقت دون سبب منطقي، وفي المرة الاخيرة التي تجلس فيها "فيلما إلي جوار امها لتضع لها الكعكة وعليها الكافيار قتلتها دون أن تدري.

When social pressure and poverty disrupts women's self confidence, it leaves them soulless and helpless! Birdbath is one Act play that depicts the misery of young lady living in poverty and seen as ugly by the community.
