"At what point did WE become the bad guys?" Maybe when you started doing things like "Liar's Poker." Maybe people are tired of the fact that police can lie and do whatever they want then get away with it, only being punished with paid leave and a slap on the wrist sternly wagged finger.
"So, he says that he's here visiting his cousin, Jeffery, who lives at 123 Maple Lane. A few minutes later you say, "Okay, just to make sure I heard you correctly, you're here to see your brother, Johnny, who lives at 321 Staple Place, correct?" Quick read packed with a lot of valuable information
I was looking for a book about communication skills for law enforcement, to practice and improve. This book gives a lot of examples on how to talk to people, what not to say and strategies to achieve your goals to help people whether they have a complaint or are just upset when you interact with them. It's a quick and easy read and I recommend it if you are struggling and want to improve your skills.
This is fantastic! As an aspiring cop Sergeant James Goolsby hit it right at home even if you are wanting to be in that field or aren’t I still recommend you read this
