Twisted Truths by Rebecca Zanetti

The conclusion to the Blood Brothers trilogy and the Sin Brothers series. It can be read as a standalone but because it’s the conclusion, the prior books should be read in advance. Just because they are so good.
Romantic suspense. Top of the genre.

This is Denver’s story and happily ever after.
Dr Madison and Sheriff Elton Cobb continue their pursuit of all the brothers. She is unrelenting in her master gene splicing and making of the ultimate soldier while he just wants revenge. The brothers can never relax, knowing Madison and Cobb could be just around the next corner.
Love seems to be the more powerful source when all the brothers succumb.

Non stop action and thrills. Loved the fast pace and the power of family.
I’m sad to see this storyline end, but loved every minute of all seven books.
Fantastic.

Throughout this series we've watched Denver struggle with the face that he walked away from the woman he loved. but now Noni is back in his life because she needs his help and his world is about to take a turn he never expected. Noni and Denver's story was full of suspense and mysteries that had me captivated. It was a hear-pounding rollercoaster of a book that I want to go back and re-read all over again.

Twisted Truths was bittersweet for me because as much as I liked the story I was still sad to see these characters go. But I loved how this author brought everything to an end and gave me the closure I needed in order to say goodbye to this series.

I received this book for free in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.

Noni has worked hard to get over Denver ever since he left but when she needs to track down her sister's kidnapped baby, he's the only one she trusts to turn to.
Denver can't believe the danger Noni has put herself in with plastering a picture of them together all over the internet. When he finds out about the baby though, he can't walk away.
With the sheriff and Dr. tightening their circle around the Blood Brothers, Denver must protect Noni and the rest of his family.

Twisted Truths is the final book in the Blood Brothers trilogy, which is a spin-off of the Sin Brothers series. It's a series dealing with genetically enhanced super soldiers who break free from their maker Dr. Madison and are on the run. While the Sin Brothers have all found their happily ever afters, they make appearances in this series but you wouldn't need to have read those books. I would highly suggest you read the other two books in the Blood Brothers trilogy though, as the continuing suspense storyline is very prevalent.

"I've hurt you enough," he countered softly.
She moved, turning and straddling him, her thighs outside his hard ones. Atop him, facing him, was exactly where she wanted to be. "Maybe this time I'll hurt you."
His chin lifted, and his eyes darkened to a dangerous blue. Intensity, so sharp it hurt to see, swirled there. "You've already slayed me through, darlin'."

The last book ended with Denver going off to find Noni, a woman he spent time with while he was working a case. She has plastered a picture of them together all over the internet trying to find him. What Noni doesn’t know is that Denver and his brothers are still trying to hide from a sheriff Cobb, brother to the man who ran the boys ranch Denver and his brothers were raised at. This brother liked to beat the boys and one night Denver, Ryker, and Heath end up killing him and run away. The sheriff has been searching for them ever since, along with Dr. Madison. She's the doctor who created all the super soldiers, but always claiming Denver was special. When Denver finds Noni, she tells him how her foster care sister overdosed and the gangbanger father took the baby and plans to sell her. Denver agrees to help her out.

If it sounds like a lot of action happening to you, you'd be right. The story started off at a run right away. Which if you're more action oriented you would like, but some character and relationship development got left behind. We never really get to know Noni (get a feel for Denver in the previous two books) and since Denver and Noni's relationship had started off screen, we never get to experience them falling in love. We get a sex scene about 30% in and I can't say I really felt any emotion from it. There are no flashbacks to their previous relationship and no time for them to stop and develop one as they are either on the run from Cobb and Madison or trying to get the baby.

The story had a little bit of rinse and repeat with Denver sensing danger, Noni refusing to be sent away to safety, people shooting at them, getting away from danger, Denver trying to refuse help from his brothers, going to a new safe house, and then the steps all repeating again.

Our series villains didn't seem to quite have the weight they did in the previous books, Cobb was his violently psychotic self but almost rigidly so and instead of Dr. Madison being her scientifically psychotic brilliantly cunning self, she was ultimately shifted more toward kooky psychotic. The characters personalities and the story plot just seemed to run out of steam towards the end.

As I mentioned, you'll want to have at least read the other books in the Blood Brothers trilogy, or you'll be hopefully lost. For those of you that have, you'll greatly enjoy a return to Denver, Ryker, and Heath's brotherly relationship with all the other Sin Brothers making some appearances. The romance just didn't worm it's way in enough for me here but even though it didn't quite have the potency ending I was looking forward to, I still enjoyed our boys getting their happily ever afters.

Noni is really desperate, her baby niece (Talia) is in danger and then is kidnapped, and the only person who can save her is the man she loved and who left her a year ago, Denver Jones. When Denver sees Noni again, he is bombarded by the memories of his time with her, she is one woman that makes him really feel, she is the soft point his enemies could use against him, and in entering her life again the vultures after him begin to circle more than happy to use her and her niece to get what they want.

I liked how Noni’s aunties made Denver blush and honestly the hard time they gave him – it had me smiling.

A light easy read, but I am a little disappointed – wanted more heat, intensity and tension. I wasn’t engrossed by the characters or the plot, and early on it became clear through Denver’s flashbacks and Dr Madison’s focus on him that . The twisted truths in this read were super easy to spot.

Romantic Suspense lovers, don’t even think about missing this sexy, action packed powerhouse. Noni and Denver’s chase to find a kidnapped baby while outsmarting Denver’s past will blow you away.

Noni is frantic and angry. Furious at the man who stole her heart when he left without a word a year back. Mad at the only man who can help her get Talia, her kidnapped niece, back. She doesn’t have a choice though and she won’t give one to Denver either.

Leaving Noni was the hardest thing Denver had ever done. It was the right thing to do though. Cut all ties to the woman he loved or risk putting her in danger from the people looking for him and his brothers. But protecting her and her niece from a gang of criminals is his priority no matter how much his past threatens to catch up with him. Can he protect Noni and Talia and outmaneuver the sadistic Sheriff Cobb and sociopath Dr. Isobel Maddison?

Denver, Noni and the entire Blood brothers and Gray brothers gang race against time to not only get the infant to safety but also put an end to their lifelong enemies.

The end of a series, a great series is always bittersweet. You want everyone to get their happy ending but at the same time you want to keep reading about the great characters you’ve learned to love. On the plus column we get to catch up with the entire crew! Guys, girls, grandparents and kids and even detective Malloy! I loved that he had an important role in the story. There’s also a lot of action, a lot of fighting against guilt, a lot of understanding and love and of course delicious sexy times between flying bullets. In reality, the only down side is the fact that it’s the end. But I’m sure whatever Rebecca writes next will be just as engaging.

This is a brilliant conclusion to an action packed romantic suspense series. It’s been a while since I’ve read a series like this, explosively written, with an electrifying plot with unforeseen twists, strong character development and so many thrills and sexiness that had me glued to my eReader from start to finish. A surefire source of reading entertainment.

Twisted Truths is book #3 in the Blood Brothers series by Rebecca Zanetti. It is a standalone romantic suspense lovers with enjoy. Told from both points of view.

Twisted Truths is the final book in the Blood Brothers Trilogy, and Zanetti definitely saved the best for last! Intense, fast-paced action and cover-to-cover suspense kept me burning through the pages of this book. Not only does it bring the Blood Brothers series to an end, it also reels in demons that have haunted and hunted the Sin Brothers also, thereby closing a story arc that encompassed both series. The author brilliantly wove all the threads together and brought in all the guys to once and for all put their demons to rest. I loved it!

Finally, in Twisted Truths, Denver's and Noni's story plays out when Noni's dead sister's baby is kidnapped, and she reaches out to Denver for help in finding her. In doing so, she plasters his picture all over the internet and unknowingly brings his worse nightmare to life when he and his brothers are once again placed in the crosshairs of Sheriff Cobb and Dr. Madison. Only this time, they can't ghost out of the picture without first finding the kidnapped baby. When everything blows up in their faces, they have no choice but to call for backup from the Sin Brothers.

Twisted Truths is high octane, heart-racing action all the way through. And woven into the drama is the passionate reuniting of Denver and Noni. Their undeniable, sizzling chemistry and steamy desires ignite the pages, setting the stage for a beautiful, emotional second-chance romance. A strong, convoluted support cast takes this story to another level as deadly battles rage between the forces of good and evil. Zanetti takes this one home with a bang! Fans of the Sins Brothers and the Blood Brothers will not want to miss this one! (Be sure to read the series in order to avoid spoilers.) A brilliant ending to a fantastic series! A Must Read!

Nomi is on the hunt for her friend's three-month-old baby. With her friend dead, she doesn't have time to fight for legal custody. Not when the baby Daddy is a known drug dealer and gang member. She and her Aunts set out to save her, but a crooked PI and inferior leads, leave her desperate. She reaches out via the web for Denver. She doesn't have his number and instead posts an image of the two of them EVERYWHERE. Denver, of course, comes running and the two soon find themselves in danger as gang members and the group hunting Denver and his brothers close in.

The romance was sizzling, and their chemistry was off the charts. W see growth as these two learn more about one another and find closure in their past.  Their feelings, actions and the drama all felt genuine. I loved the snark, development, and Kindle melting heat.

Zanetti tackled the black market and gangs while provided plenty of page time with our series villains. The story quickly pulls you in and provided plenty of twists that will keep you engaged. The book is the longest of the series, and I devoured it in a single day.

We got to spend time with the brothers and their significant others in addition to characters from Montana. All of this added to the storyline and provided nice tidbits in addition to Denver's story.

The series itself wrapped up nicely after some intense action-scenes, near-death experiences and confrontations. Zanetti wrapped things up in a bow but left a few loose strings.... just enough to allow for more books should she decide to do so. I for one would happily read them. 3 - "We’re family." Stars.

We return to the Jones brothers, and the final book in the Blood Brothers series. This is the quiet and reclusive Denver’s story, and while we have gotten to know him through Ryker and Heath’s books, Twisted Truths finally gets the reader into his head.

In all honesty I could almost refer you to my review for this books predecessor; Lethal Lies because my thoughts on that are in the main reflected here, once again the book was far too long, the story dragged out and repetitive, especially so in the first half, where we pretty much go –

• Noni refuses to do what Denver asks.
• They are attacked, by one enemy or another.
• Denver then uses sex as punishment and as a way to get Noni to acquiesce to him.
• Restart cycle again.

I will say their emotional connection between them was felt a little more strongly than the previous book the addition of the baby helped that along as well, but for me although the story was there it just took far too long to get going. The whole Cobb & Madison plot lost all of its impact because it’s been almost stationary in its development for pretty much all of the last book and a large portion of this one too. The Twisted Truths if you will, were also pretty easy to spot coming from a mile off, again because the plot had lost its punchiness due to being dragged out for far too long.

"Let the past go… We have right now and we have the future."

On the plus, we get to check in with the Dean Brothers. The banter and camaraderie between them all, was pretty poignant and emotional at points and on a personal level I was glad to see everyone get their just desserts, it was too long coming, but the last 25% made the book worthwhile reading, it just could have done with a little condensing in the previous 75% to make it flow better.

I congratulate Rebecca Zanetti for concluding the last story in the Blood Brothers series with brilliant writing and maximum suspense that went above and beyond. Twisted Truths is an action-packed thriller that kept me on the edge of my seat and reading long into the night. She created an over arcing story line over the three books that had 3 men on the run and knew that soon they would have to confront their dangerous enemies and make a stand. And what a stand it was.

Denver Jones knew that Cobb and Madison had to die and would do all in his powers to see it done but not before he got the baby back. Noni is looking for him and needs his help in returning the baby Talia. Once they team up they just couldn’t catch a break and there was nonstop destruction and mayhem. It wasn’t easy keeping one step ahead of danger but they managed to reignite their passion for one another and outwit the people that were after them. Even with all that is going around them, Denver and Noni were able to carve out time for them to express their love while they still could, and go into the future with all their cards on the table. Denver knew what was at stake and finally understands what family and love is after all this time.

Twist Truths stayed true to its title and had many twists and turns that kept this fast paced story on overdrive. The story itself was unique and captured my interest and knew that it was going to be a page turner and it definitely exceeded my expectations. I loved this story! This one in companion with the other 2 in the Blood Brothers series, along with the Sin Brothers series, just proves that Rebecca Zanetti is a master at romantic suspense.

This is a must read for all the those fans of the Sin Brothers and of course the newer Blood brothers. It's a sad moment in many ways as it seems the journey is over for now but what a ride it's been .
This series has been a little belter with pantomime villains that just don't seem to want to quit. Dr Madison has been hanging over these characters lives like a bad smell with her manipulative conniving tactics but her lover Sheriff Cobb doesn't care for her science no, he's just all out now for revenge. So when Noni put up a photo on the internet of Denver in the hope that he will help her she has no idea that she's actually about to give away his location! Denver walked away from Noni once but can he do it again? Or will everything just fall apart?
I've loved these big tough brooding males who have had such truly abysmal childhoods and it's been fun watching them fall for dare I say what are sometimes quite uppity females . The ever present badguys quietly encroaching have constantly added to the mix with at times quite shocking outcomes. Yes this is technically the story of Denver and Noni but honestly it's all about the 'feels' that these incredibly passionate guys bring to the party. This was a wonderful end to a series that has been both thoroughly entertaining whilst at the same time thought provoking.
This voluntary take is of a copy I requested from Netgalley and my thoughts and comments are honest and I believe fair

I liked this book a lot! It was so nice to get Denver’s story and to finally get some resolution for the Blood Brothers series as well as the earlier Sin Brothers series. This is the third book in the Blood Brothers series which is a spin-off of the Sin Brothers series so I wouldn’t recommend reading this as a stand-alone if it can be avoided. I was hooked by this story very early on and was entertained until the story came to an end.

Noni is desperate to find the infant that she is responsible for now that the baby’s mother has died. She knows that her old boyfriend Denver could help so she puts his photo all over the internet in hopes of finding him. She doesn’t realize that Denver is trying to stay hidden so putting his photo online may not be the best idea. They do end up working together to get the baby back from her biological father that has less than savory ideas for her welfare. Once the baby is safe, Denver and his brothers will have their own past to deal with.

I liked Noni and Denver together. They had amazing chemistry together and I loved the fact that they were both very focused on doing whatever was necessary to keep the baby safe. We do learn a little more about Denver’s past and I loved that he was able to open up to Noni. It was great to see the brothers work together and I was thrilled to see them with the characters from the Sin Brothers series. There was plenty of action to keep things interesting and I thought that the book moved at a very nice pace.

Karen White did an amazing job with the narration. She has been the voice of the series and I think that she has done a wonderful job with bringing this cast of characters to life. I think that she adds just the right amount of emotion to the more tender scenes and makes the action feel just a bit more exciting. I definitely believe that her narration added to my overall enjoyment of this story.

I would recommend this book to others. I thought that this was a very well-done romantic suspense story with characters that were easy to fall for and enough action to keep the pages turning. I cannot wait to read more of this talented author’s work in the future.

I received a review copy of this book from Forever (Grand Central Publishing) and I purchased a copy of the audiobook.

Sensational action packed romantic suspense – 5 stars!

The third and final book in the Blood Brothers trilogy, and wow, Rebecca Zanetti has smacked it out of the park with this one! Exciting, intense and action-packed with a gorgeous second-chance romance, this is a wonderful story and a great close for the series – as well as additional closure for the Sin Brothers series (this series is a spin-off from the Sin Brothers, and while you don’t have to have read the Sin Brothers to understand this one, it definitely provides great background. Also be aware that this series contains spoilers for the original). Denver’s story is my favourite in the series, I absolutely loved it!

Denver Jones is the youngest of three blood brothers. The boys met in a group home where they banded together in order to survive a hellish existence, and where they learned that they had been genetically modified to become super soldiers, with enhanced skills and natural abilities. The boys have been on the run since they were teenagers, and have set themselves up as successful investigators. But their primary mission is to hunt down the people responsible for ruining their lives.

In the last two books we have seen Denver’s two older brothers fall in love while Denver has remained quiet, clearly struggling after walking away from the woman he loves, Noni, after a brief relationship a year previously. The last book ended with Noni reaching out to Denver on the internet asking for his help – a situation which put the brothers and herself in immediate danger as their enemies close in, so Denver ran off to save the day. Exciting!

Noni is in the race of her life, trying to find her foster sister’s three month old baby. Noni was made the infant’s guardian after her sister’s death, but the child has been taken by its father – a drugged-up member of a criminal MC, and she is desperate to find her. She doesn’t know a lot about Denver’s background, but she knows that he is an investigator, and though he broke her heart when he unexpectedly left her, she knows that he is her only hope. And when he rocks up on her doorstep all growly and tough, their two worlds are about to collide in ways neither of them could have expected.

OMG, I loved this book! From beginning to end it’s a wild ride of excitement, action and suspense, and I could not put it down! The two action/suspense storylines make this a really exciting read, with so much happening - all of it really full on and continuing to build as the book progresses, and I read frantically, desperate to see how it was all going to play out.

And the love story is gorgeous! The chemistry between Denver and Noni is palpable from the first moment they are together. They clearly both have strong feelings for each other, and the emotion is really beautifully written. And the sexual tension is explosive as their attraction to each other literally sizzles though tension and animosity, mad lust and more.

“What do you want?” She gasped
His eyes deepened. All of those blue flecks commingled into something dark. “Baby, if I answered that, I really would scare you.”

Yes, it’s hot and steamy, and so, so passionate. And the emotional element to the sexy time builds the intensity as all of the feelings Denver and Noni have for each other consume them once again.

“I’ve hurt you enough,” he countered softly.
She moved, turning and straddling him, her thighs outside his hard ones. Atop him, facing him, was exactly where she wanted to be. “Maybe this time I’ll hurt you.”
His chin lifted, and his eyes darkened to a dangerous blue. Intensity, so sharp it hurt to see, swirled there. “You’ve already slayed me through, darlin’.”

And combined with their situation, it makes for a sensational read! It’s definitely not a normal environment for a love story to develop, but despite all that they are faced with, it all feels so natural as they easily fall back together – dealing with their emotions, the intensity of their current predicament, as well as the secrets between them and all of the emotion from the past. It’s a lot, but it’s balanced perfectly, with the story moving at a great pace and the romance standing strong and beautiful in the middle of all of the chaos.

“You’ll never be free of me. I love you, Noni … I’ll protect you ... Love you ... Be whatever you need me to be.”

Denver’s backstory (like his brothers) is tragic, and my heart broke seeing how deeply affected he still is by all that he has been through, the way he has dealt with it, and the impact it has had on his life. We really get to see his vulnerable side, his sweet nature and his need to protect those close to him, and his loyalty and devotion is beautiful! There is so much that he needs to deal with, and this book is a true journey for him in addition to everything else that happens, and I really enjoyed that part of the story.

Of course Ryker and Heath are a big part of the story, and the Dean boys from the Sins Brothers books make an appearance, and I loved seeing them again. The bond that these boys have is beautifully explored, and as much as I love the way they tease and joke with each other, it’s the emotional aspect of their connection is something really special.

“I don’t regret a second. Not one moment of everything we’ve been through. We found one another.”
… “Thank you for being my brothers.”

*sniff*

I loved the way that Zanetti wove these stories together, giving us so much in each book, tying them together in a way that provides depth and plenty of build-up, but it’s never overwhelming. It’s just the right amount of everything, and I loved every single moment of it!

5 stars!

Are we done yet???? God, I hope so. There are some good things about this series and this book: 1) Steamy Hot Romance; 2) Terrific actions scenes and lots of them; 3) The good guys win. The bad: 1) The narration was terrible, so I ditched that early on: 2) So much angst, the whole book was swimming in angst; 3) Both the hero and heroine had numerous TSTL moments. I guess I read this book hoping some elements would change, but they didn't. It pretty much followed the formula of the first two books. One really neat thing is that this story is set at Christmas and I'm reading it in December so I'm counting it as a Christmas book, sort of.

Noni is the woman Denver loved and left behind after a job in Anchorage, AK a year ago. She was so devastated, and her aunts nicknamed him Dickhead for just leaving without any explanation. Trying to move on has been hard, but her sister the birth of her baby, Tala, has been a bright spot in the darkness of her life. Until her sister dies of an overdose and the baby's father, a nasty druggie, kidnaps her. Noni is desperate and determined to get little Taya back and the only person who can help is Denver. But finding him brings danger to all of them.

Denver left Noni behind because of his past and the nasty mad scientist and her lapdog sheriff who are hunting him and his brothers. Madison and Cobb have been hunting the Jones brothers for twenty years and now, thanks to Nomi, they have them in their sights. Madison wants them to collect their genetic material, Cobb just wants to kill them all.

I loved this book as well as the series. I am so sad that it is over.
In this final book of the trilogy, the author kept the same energy, the same excitement and the romantic intensity we have come to associate with these brothers. Noni draws Denver out to help her rescue her sister's baby who has been kidnapped by Dr. Madison's henchmen, Sheriff Cobb.

Dr. Madison proved to be a formidable and ruthless opponent. She would use anyone and anything to regain control of "her creations". It just seems unimaginable that such a brilliant mind is also so devoid of any real human emotion. A true sociopath with such much military power and might at her disposal. Without giving anything away, Denver brings his whole arsenal to this epic battle, mainly all the brothers from the prior books. So its a reunion as the Blood Brothers combine their wits and resources with Gray Brothers for a final confrontation with the institution that took young boys and tried to create super soldiers.

This book was all I had hoped it would be. Denver and Noni had heat. Their chemistry was just as powerful as the prior books in this series. The writing kept me engaged from start to finish and I hope we come back to this storyline in the future.

I won this book in a goodreads drawing.

A woman's niece is kidnapped and only hotshot PI Denver Jones, who just happens to be her lost love can find the kid.

For some reason, according to the description, I was expecting a PI mystery, but I got a romantic suspense type book instead. On that score it isn't bad, even though the protagonist is irritating.

4 Twisted Stars!

This final book in Rebecca Zanetti Blood Brothers Series definitely had some twists and turns! I loved Denver and Noni, the women he loves and is finally reunited with. Noni seeks help from Denver in locating her deceased foster sister’s child who was taken from her by the child’s father, who is not a good man.

Unfortunately when seeking help from Denver she unwittingly tips evil Sheriff Cobb and Dr. Madison to her whereabouts which lead them to Denver and his brothers. Now it’s a deadly game of cat and mouse.....

RZ ties up the series nicely but I’m hopeful that we haven’t seen the last of the Sin and Blood Brothers.

Twisted Truths is the third and finale of the Blood Brothers trilogy. This book packed such a punch and I had such a blast with this book and really this whole trilogy. I will say that this book was a little bit different than the previous two and I have to say that I had high expectations to this book especially since this pairing is definitely built up in the previous books. And even though I enjoyed it quite a bit, I still had some reservations.

Twisted Truths begins with our heroine Noni. Noni once fell in love with a mysterious dark man, one who hurt her in just leaving and disappeared from her life. But now a dear friend of hers has been killed and her baby girl has been kidnapped by a gang and she is determined to find this child at all costs and raise her as her own. But she has a dangerous gang and she needs help and is out searching for the man who can help her more than anyone else can....Denver Jones. Denver has been haunted by the love he feels for Noni and even though he and his brothers are on the run ....she is the woman he loves and is in danger and he will do everything he can to protect her and find this innocent child. But Denver and his brothers have their hands full and will do anything he can to protect those he loves

Twisted Truths is the finale of the trilogy and I just fell in love with these brothers and their connected to the boys in the Sin series. This author has me thrilled again for romantic suspense and this trilogy really had me on the edge all the way through. I will say that I really wished that the brothers had been more together in this book. They were separated for the first half of the story and I do wish they had been in more closer contact like the first two books. I did enjoy seeing Noni and Denver reconnect but it wasn't what I pictured it would be, I was expected something more than what was portrayed in the story. It was a wonderful story but did not meet my full expectations to be honest.

More than a year ago she’d given her heart to him, and she’d never gotten it back. He now held it even stronger than before.

The plot was just as intense as I knew it would be especially with it being the finale and I honestly didn't know how this would end....I was almost tempted to read the ending to make sure it ended in a HEA (Trust me I used to do that) but Zanetti surely knows how to write good suspense and keep you on the edge of your seat and what thrills she really puts you through. I really loved seeing all our favorite boys come together here in this story, loved seeing the unity and brotherhood that is between them even Sheriff Malloy (his character cracked me up) I am crossing my fingers that this author will write the story of the younger boys we discovered in the first book of the trilogy. Now onto the next suspense series by this author "Deep Ops"

Overall I found Twisted Truths to be a story of chills, edgy thrills and a reconnecting of love and passion!!

First the Sins Brothers and now the Blood Brothers... I'm down to my last brother and book of the series. Reader gal having a bittersweet moment... But a moment is all I get because I'm still feeling a bit of a blissful reaction to the final scene. Family- of the brooding, big, and strong protector variety get me every time. Twisted Truths wrapped things up splendidly.

Twisted Truths is the third and final book in the Blood Brothers series. It does not make for a good standalone or out of order. This whole series actually works best following the earlier Sins Brothers for which this group is a spin off.

Denver is the final Blood Brother to get his story, but its also a culmination of all their stories- Ryker, Heath and all the Gray brothers before them. Denver is hot on the trail of Dr. Madison and sadistic, vengeful former Sheriff Cobb when he is sidetracked by a woman from his past. He left Noni in an effort to protect her from the fallout in his life yet here she is naively putting herself in the crosshairs of Madison and Cobb when she puts a picture of them up all over the internet in a desperate effort to find him. Denver spends the book racing ahead of the danger of his and Noni's enemies and sorting out his past while knowing that his future is a showdown with Madison.
Noni, on the other hand, had no idea what drove Denver away and she'd rather be mad then hurt though, she is that- very much. She goes with her guts that to get a baby girl back safely before a gang does bad things, she must call on Denver- ruthless, cold Denver- to help her get her goddaughter back.

This book was a blend of emotions and action and oh yes, the passion. Its on the go, but it doesn't stint on the character and couple development. The author ties up all the strings in this one, but its got a few twists to keep the reader engaged to see how its all going to go down.

I love the story, the series, and even the formula, but I do have to say that one has to like the formula to appreciate the series when it comes to the romance. Gutsy, stubborn, and hurting heroine vs. tough, vulnerable, over-protective alpha male. See? what's not to like?
And I did like them, though, Noni's 'I have to push your buttons because they are there' behavior when she was mad made me get a little restive. She got past it and then I was all in. Denver and Noni were a great pair and I loved seeing them help each other heal and bring out the best in each other. And that doll of a baby sure had me swooning when she was in Denver's arms. These lonely guys sure do make for good family material.

All in all, I was engaged and struggled to put the book down for real life intrusions. It was a strong story alone, but also a fantastic finish for the series. Those who love a blend of passionate romance and heart-stopping action should give the Sins and Blood Brothers a try.

I got this book from Net Galley in exchange for an honest review.

Twisted Truths is the final installment in the Blood Brothers series. While this is Denver's story, I HIGHLY recommend reading these books in order because there is an underlying plot that continues throughout the three books.

In Twisted Truths Denver comes to find that he needs to help out a former "flame" in finding her niece. Noni has been entrusted with raising her niece when the girl's donor dad kidnaps her. And the only person she can truly trust to help her is Denver. But she enlists his help in ways that put him in danger too.

For those who have not read any of the previous books, Denver and his two brothers were raised in a home and a crazy "scientist," Dr. Madison genetically enhanced them. They escaped many, many years ago and have stayed behind the scenes tracking down this nutjob and the crooked Sheriff. And since Noni blasted Denver's pic all over social media, the lime light is once again on the brothers.

Rebecca does a great job of weaving the two stories together. There are a lot of twists and turns and action-packed plot. It was very difficult to put this book down. My only gripe was that a few parts seemed to be reminiscent of previous books (outing the brothers) but it did not take away from the overall story line.

If you enjoy a great plot line, with a lot of twists and great action blended with some romance, then this series is for you. Again, I urge you to read the books in order to get the full affect of everything.

Great ending to an amazing series.

The third book in the Blood Brother series by Rebecca Zanetti. Noni Yuka posts pictures of Denver Jones on the internet. This means that the baddies after the Jones brothers have a better chance in finding them. But Noni meant well. She is trying to locate her foster sister's baby that disappeared after her sister overdosed. She knows that Denver is a private investigator and can help.

Good series and I recommend it but only if you read in order and it would probably be better if you read the previous series, Sin Brothers, as they are related. Mainly by characters but they all contain an ongoing storyline that finally ends with this book.

Twisted Truths is the final book in Rebecca Zanetti's Blood Brothers series and it's definitely the one I was most excited about. Poor Denver has been pining for Noni since the beginning of the trilogy, he met her and fell in love before the series started but broke both of their hearts by walking away. He knows he left to protect her but she has no idea why he up and left without even saying goodbye. Noni never thought she'd see Denver again but her niece has been kidnapped and she needs help desperately, desperately enough that she's willing to ask the man who broke her heart for help.

There is no way Denver can turn down Noni's request for help, especially now that she's put a target on her back by very publicly searching for him on the internet. Even if he wasn't still in love with her he wouldn't be able to leave a young baby in the hands of a brutal gang though. Denver will do whatever it takes to keep Noni safe and to bring Talia home but he's going to have to work fast if he wants to do it before Maddison and Cobb catch up with them both.

I already loved Denver but it was so great to see him finally fighting for his chance at happiness. He's always been willing to risk his life so that his brothers will survive but once he starting to see the kind of future he could have with Noni it gave him even more strength for the battle. Denver has always been the silent one of the group and Noni used to let him get away with keeping secrets the first time they dated but now she's not willing to let him get off so easily and I loved how she kept pushing him for answers. They make such a fab couple, the chemistry between them was intense from the beginning but there was so much more to their relationship than just sex.

Dr Madison has been the evil at the centre of both the Sin Brothers and Blood Brothers series so I can't tell you how satisfying it was to finally have everything come to a head. This is a battle Denver, Heath and Ryker can't win alone though and that means bringing in the Dean brothers too which made it even better. This was a fantastic conclusion to both of these series, I'm going to miss these characters but at the same time I'm glad they're going to get to enjoy their HEAs now without the constant threat of Madison and her soldiers hanging over their heads.

Denver had a short love affair with Noni a year ago, but he had to leave her. Now she is advertising over the web for his help and putting a target on both of their backs. He has no choice but to swoop in to save her from his own enemies and help her deal with the new ones she is making. She is trying to locate her kidnapped infant niece and the kidnappers are a dangerous gang.

They have a lot to talk about and unresolved issues, guilt, anger, and pain. And they have enemies from his past now on even higher alert and her enemies are hot on their trail as well. They will have to put their unresolved feelings behind them and work together to keep each other safe and complete their objectives. But being together also brings back the sexual tension and chemistry that got them involved in the first place.

But now that Noni knows more about the real Denver versus the persona he adopted in the past, it is obvious that he is more dangerous, deadlier, and more charismatic than ever. They spark, challenge, and fight. She is not the sweet, gullible girl he knew and is not afraid to push him. Denver has always been the quieter, broodier, more controlled, and possibly the most special of all of them. He may have made himself leave Noni once to protect her, but it nearly killed him. He has been coping poorly with avoidance, alcohol, and withdrawing from life. But losing her because he could not keep her safe is not an option. He is not sure he will be able to handle losing her again at all.

But in order to keep them, and his brothers and their new loves safe, they will all have to find a way to defeat their enemy once and for all because enemies like theirs will not stop until they have them in custody again. And that is just not an option for Denver, Ryker, or Heath...or for their new extended family the Gray brothers Matt, Shane, Nate, and Jory either. They are all in this together and have common enemies and a desire to live their lies free from constant threats.

Denver was always the Doctor's "special one" and he seems to be the one she particularly wants. He has guilt about their past and wants to keep all of his loved ones safe. He was always the quieter one and held things in, but feels deep. He thought he needed to hold back as to lessen the hurt for Noni, but as she shows her strength and continues to push him, the real heart of Denver emerges more and more. He was strong, a fighter, protective, and ready to take on their enemies and sacrifice himself for others. But Noni and his brothers and extended family aren't going to let him be a lone wolf.

This is the final book in this series and brings back his brothers, The Gray brothers, their significant others, their enemies, and finally brings their main story arch to a close. It is full of tension, suspense, danger, and completely action packed. It seemed they would barely have a breath to recover between one situation to another with multiple antagonists and threats and a constant motion and skirmishes. But it brings us to the final showdown with the crooked Sheriff Cobb and evil Doctor Madison that has been coming through both of these series and resolves all the story lines.

This last book of the series of the Blood Brothers and with ties to the Sin Brothers is all action, suspense, romance and all the loose ends are tied up to for a fantastic finish!

As always, Rebecca Zanetti knows how to keep her readers glued to the book! Once I sat down to read the words grabbed me and kept me up until 3 am when it was finished! I was thoroughly engaged! I was excited to see all the other characters from the other books and I loved how these guys all form a loving family!

The words craft a story of how 3 boys (one for each book and ties to all with the last) who become blood brothers while in a boys home. These boys grow up and are on the run after killing the head guy at the home. The boys were beaten often and they had to defend or be killed! They grow up and form a detective business. This book focuses on Denver. He is still in love with Noni and she is looking for help to find a baby that was taken from her and has put Denver's picture everywhere exposing him to be seen by the sheriff and Isobel, who have been after the blood brothers for years. Now that they know where he is both Noni and Denver are targets by the gang who have the baby and the evil Dr Isobel. Nonstop action people!! Fix one problem and another is in it's place. So, Denver can't commit to Noni because Denver doesn't believe he will make out of this situation alive and he also doesn't think he deserves her either. Silly, I know, who wouldn't want one of these honor bound, family oriented big dudes!?!

Ugh, it's just really good!!

Twisted Truths, the third and final installment of the Blood Brothers Series, was everything I expected plus so much more. Ms. Zanetti totally hit it out of the park with this one and is by far my favorite of this outstanding trilogy. I have been waiting it seems like forever for Denver and Noni’s story, and I must say that it was well worth the wait! What an amazing book – in every way possible! The story was absolutely compelling and from the very first sentence to the very last, it easily captivated my attention through its vivid and eloquently written details.

With its deliciously smoking hot sex scenes and enough twists and turns to make me dizzy, Twisted Truths had me turning each page in a frenzied pace needing to know how this story would turn out. Ms. Zanetti definitely knows how to create some strong, seriously HOT alpha male characters that will have your heart racing a million miles an hour and swooning from all the sexiness that lies between these pages. Along with all the hotness, there is some serious intense action that had me hanging on for dear life.

If you are looking for a fast-paced, romantic suspense that totally engages your right from the start and is difficult to put down because you must find out what happens, then I highly recommend Twisted Truths. Ms. Zanetti has produced an edge of your seat story that is beyond amazing and one that you will want to check out. Trust me, you will not be disappointed!

3.75 stars-TWISTED TRUTHS is the third and final instalment in Rebecca Zanetti’s contemporary, adult BLOOD BROTHERS slightly paranormal, romantic suspense trilogy focusing on three blood brothers-Heath, Ryker and Denver Jones- who own and operate The Lost Bastards Investigative Agency. This is Denver Jones, and Noni Yuka’s story line. TWISTED TRUTHS can be read as a stand alone but I recommend reading the series, in order, for cohesion and backstory as there is an on going and connected premise throughout. The BLOOD BROTHERS is a spin off from the author’s SIN BROTHERS SERIES. Several character cross-over for familiarity.

SOME BACKGROUND: Years earlier Dr. Isobel Madison aka Sylvia Daniels, and a covert government agency used experimental DNA to make the perfect super soldier-a genetically enhanced warrior. The continuing trope ventures into another direction as another ‘family of brothers’ is brought into the fold. All of the brothers are ‘created’ in one way or another; they are experiments of Dr. Isobel Madison-a woman who is determined to destroy that which she made by making a stronger, more viable soldier. On the run, these super soldiers and their blood brothers, stay one step ahead of Dr. Madison, and Sheriff Elton Cobb, Madison’s lover and the man seeking revenge for the death of his brother.

Told from several third person perspectives including Noni and Denver, TWISTED TRUTHS focuses on the rekindling romance between super solider and private investigator Denver Jones, and home-business entrepreneur Noni Yuka. One-year earlier Denver was working in Alaska where he met our story line heroine but when his assignment was over Denver walked away in the middle of the night, never saying good-bye to the woman he loved. Fast forward to present day wherein Noni’s three month old god-daughter has been abducted by a drug running MC, in the hopes of selling the child to the highest bidder. Desperate and no where to turn Noni begins an internet search for the man she once loved only to unintentionally reveal his whereabouts to the people back home. What ensues is the rekindling romance between Noni and Denver as they begin a search for Noni’s missing three-month old godchild while trying to stay one step ahead of Dr. Madison and Sheriff Elton Cobb.

The relationship between Noni and Denver is one of second chances but we know very little about, and are given limited access to their prior affair. I struggled with Noni’s demands to be ever-present when danger is near-there are a few ‘too stupid to live’ (TSTL) moments that are cringe worthy and questionable. Noni needs closure but reconnecting with Denver opens old wounds for our leading couple including Denver’s belief he is incapable of love. The $ex scenes are intimate and intense without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text.

TWISTED TRUTHS is a story of adventure; a journey of suspense, action, friendship and family. No man is left behind; the brothers, related or not, stand behind and together in an effort to take down the man and the woman who destroyed all of their lives. The premise is engaging but faltered with a presentation and story line that felt repetitious-almost déjà vu in a sense that we have read it several times before. The romance is hot and seductive; the characters familiar and energetic. TWISTED TRUTHS is the final instalment in this particular trope of the author’s BLOOD BROTHERS and SIN BROTHERS series. We had previously been introduced to other genetically modified children, potential brothers and young soldiers-I am hoping the author is prepared to reveal their stories as well.

Absolutely fabulous! What a great conclusion to the series! This is the final installment in the Blood Brothers series, a spin off of the Sin Brothers. Lots of action adventure, some suspense, really bad guys doing more bad things, some second chance romance and then what I hope is finally some down time for all these "brothers" so they can enjoy life for awhile. I will miss all these characters.

Noni is perfect for Denver. She is strong and smart and ultimately, she is the one who can help him heal. He truly is worthy of love.

And the epilogue---GAH!! All the brothers together---so perfect.

Love this author to pieces. I haven't read anything of hers that was half way--ever. Looking forward to more, more, more!

Great ending to the series. I like the way Rebecca Zanetti writes her romantic suspense. Terrific alphas who melt for their women, strong female characters who aren't super badasses but stand up and face things regardless, and pretty excellent action with consistent plot and great writing. I look forward to making my way through her backlist!
