Breath

Rate this book
Taking a much needed vacation with a group of friends, Avram encounters a lost child in the remains of an ancient building. In the shadow haunted ruins, the girl disappears with a breath like desert winds, taking Avram’s memories of the encounter with her. Thus begins a descent into madness, corruption, and death as a growing plague of evil hounds the companions’ every step.

I loved this book!It isn't often you find a book that keeps you in suspense but this one did.Miguel Perez does a fantastic job narrating. While on holiday a man notices that the children of his friends are acting weird. He also keeps seeing a little girl. Then he forgets..until the next time it happens.I was provided this book free by the author, narrator or publisher.

Obviously it's kind of strange giving a rating to one's own novel, but this is the first book of mine out of the box and somehow, there's a bit of pride that goes with it and an unashamed wish for it to do well.

Think the Midwich Cuckoos meet pre-Judeo-Christian Lilith. Definitely quiet horror.
