$3.99 for barely 60 pages, it was definitely fast paced and a bit enjoyable but not nearly worth the price of a full length read..

I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book
I felt so bad for Star. She was a girl who was bullied every week by some idiots who always pick on people who are not the same as them.
But I loved the way Spike defended her. And even though he was just helping someone who was being mistreated. But for some reason he didn't like her being alone and didn't like her walking home alone. And he worried about her being bullied when he wasn't there to look out for her.
The Connection between Star and Spike was light and fun and she gave as good as she got. But because of the distance between Star and Spike he was exhausting himself travelling to see her. And that caused some misunderstandings where Star's thinking that Spike is ashamed of brining her to meet his family.
But Spike has a family that hates seeing him miserable and suffering so they decide to step in.
Short sweet and definitely has some drama. Loved this series and can't wait to read more.

The story starts with strong emotion evakening in you. I was pissed. Because the first time we're introduced to Star is when she's bullied. And to think this treatment is happening for years... Yeah, pissed. But I have to say that moment is when I fallen for Spike. Or at least I got female version of boner for him. Lol
"Why don't you little shits fuck off?"
Now you can see why. That man has a way with words. The way he stood up for her... And later on Spike made me smile. It's cute to watch a tough biker having sweet side. Or like he called it being pussy for a girl he just meet.
I liked connection between these two. And how happy they were together. Just there was one problem. Star lived few hours away from the club. So, it took a toll on Spike, while he was traveling back and forth. And of course misunderstanding happened. Which caused pain and misery for Star and Spike. Lucky for them, he has a great family, the club, who sincerely cared about theirs member. And they will do whatever it takes to bring happiness to Spike. Will they success? Go and find out.

This was cute. The first half was really interesting. It kinda fizzled out towards the end due to their stupid misunderstanding that just dragged on.

Sexy sweet book!
Love the book about Star and Spike. They story of meeting with Spike telling some bullies to F off when them was picking on Star. Spike was getting tire of all the free sex and wanted something different and that was very sweet Star, she was bully because of her weight and she was very cautious about Spike, but he was attracted to her. It took some time but he won her trust and her love but things got misunderstood but they loved one another and love finds a way, great ending and book.

Enjoyable read! Not a lover of MC books but this one focused more on their relationship and overcoming obstacles to get their HEA. I liked Spikes devotion to Star. They had insta chemistry but it was a nice to see them hang out and get to know each other before jumping in the sack (I know right? who is this girl talking writing ??? hahaha!). I also enjoyed the cameo's by Jesse and Piper.

I devoured this book in one sitting and thoroughly enjoyed it. I really liked Spike and Star as a couple. For Spike, meeting Star was random but she soon stole a piece of his heart. He couldn’t get enough of her. I liked that Spike was loyal to his feelings for Star and continued to drive himself to exhaustion in order to see his woman everyday. I liked that Piper and Jesse from book one popped into the story. I liked that Jesse and Piper were determined to help Star and Spike solve their issues and get them together again.
Although I understood Spike’s reasoning for reacting the way he did, I was irritated. At the same time, I was rooting for Star to hear him out and forgive him.
The storyline for this book is easy to follow and an enjoyable read.

Spoiler ALERT! Spike rescues Star while she's working, from KIDS poking and bullying her, while she takes it. She doesnt rescue herself because her mindset is the bullies will stop soon. They begin dating and the idiot drives himself to the brink of over exhaustion travelling 3hrs one way to pick her up from work to take her home everyday before hightaling it home for club business. Said club intervenes by collecting her and he gets pissed they touched what he felt was something he didnt have to share. She misconstrues it for his disgust in her (because she obviously hadnt got to know him over the last months and seriously! He wasnt even looking at her). She snubs him for months and voilá another club intervention so he can grovel for his behaviour.
The beginning was sweet. After that things went down the plunger. This just felt like the author was in a hurry and created some drama queen drama that wasnt to hurry things along. Had he done something seriously hurtful to her then heck yeah make him grovel.
3 stars cause the rest was ok.

Spike was bored with his biker life same thing over and over do a run, drink and well smash the club woman he's tired of it.. he goes for a drive and ends up at a supermarket and he catches some jerks being mean to this young cashier.. Star.. she been bullied by the same peoples doesn't have any family or really friends she meets biker and cocky Spike when he saved her from some jerks and he starts being over protective taking her home having dinner.. they soon become something more..
But with the club life shall get in the way of the two?? Can Spike let in Star into that life..

It was nice. It was ridiculously short. I was confused about the conflict. He kept feeling bad for what he said. She was hurt because of what he said. BUT HE DIDN’T SAY ANYTHING!! I didn’t get it.
He kept saying he was sorry and professing his love. She got defensive and wanted to walk away to protect herself from being hurt more. BUT NOTHING BAD WAS EVER SAID BETWEEN THEM OR BY HIM! T was just stupid. A conflict that never happened.
Maybe the author forgot to write it in or it was edited out by mistake?? I don’t know. Anyway, the story really had no point regardless that it was short and sweet.

let's begin with this is a one click author for me until today.
61 pages Ms. Crescent for 3.99 took the 4 star to 3. This was too fast for the insta love you were looking for and too close to Raul's story with intervention from the club.
Sadly, this is not the first under 100-page book from this author I have paid too much for and I will be careful about the next one, I am done paying too much for a novella that should have been .99 cents. I might agree that the author doesn't set the price the publisher does, but until the publisher admits overcharging, I will watch were my money goes.

There were some real cute moments. They seemed to come together so naturally. Their love felt authentic, as did their angst. They are in a long distance relationship and share the issues of a couple that loves each other such as time spent together and worry about safety with travel. They both made some mistakes and worked them out. The club is a little weird when it comes to members relationships, they had an intervention for this couple. I was laughing

Book 2 in the Bikers Rule series this time it's Star and Spikes turn to fall head over heels in love.
Whilst I liked the book and the storyline but just had little something missing I'm not sure what but regardless I love the author.
I hope for more books to come in this series.

I love the chubby girl stories.. wish they were longer and more in depth.. Not a full out MC book.. very quick.. I hate quick books but the story line of a fat girl hooks me.. Sam Crescent is a good author.. but put more time in it and produce less books.. it's NOT about getting more out there.. it's about more detail.. spike seemed kinda wimpy in size thru his words.
