Two years after the bloody rampage in Belfast that almost cost him his life and his job with the Police, there are still many resolved issues for Billy Savage. Among them, the ex-wife he still loves is married to a fellow Police office, and a vengeful drug dealer wants both of them dead.
Now, power struggles increase within the Republican faction, and a shadowy organization that may – or may not – be quietly sanctioned by Government appears to have a license to kill.
The previous novel, Savage, was a tasty page-turner. The Celt picked up a lot of loose ends that had been left behind in The Savage. Acceptable Crime, which may be the final Billy Savage novel in the series, is almost ready for publication.
So, while you have a short wait for that one, I strongly suggest you check out thriller writers Andrew Barrett and Will Patching, who base their stories in the UK.
