I was lucky enough to get a copy of denim to read before the book come out and I was so excited to start reading it that I jumped straight into it !!! And what can I say I couldn't bring myself to put the book down . This is a book that you find yourself getting locked away in and you just keep coming back for more and more . Tee smith has me hocked and I just can't seem to get enough

I loved reading denims story and seeing into his mind , I loved seeing how kind hearted and carefree denim was and how he always wanted the best for everybody no matter how hard he was brought up he always tryed doing the best for the people he loved ! I really enjoyed this look into Denim's world. The bad boy with the pretty decent heart, all things considered, is a constant pull for readers and Denim proves no different. I'm excited to find out more about he and Lili in Elegant Retribution!

Elegantly Demin by Tee Smith a four-star read that you will enjoy. This is a prequel to the elegant series, and it shows promise for a good series. It is quick and easy to read, but there is a lot to get through in such a short number of pages, it shows promise for the series but as a stand-alone it’s a little lost. Demin is certainly someone I want to hear more about and from, and I cant wait to read more from this series.

I give Elegantly Denim: An Elegant Prelude (Elegant Series- Prequel) by Tee Smith, 4 stars.
This the back story of Denim. Of how he became who he is today. The family and things in his life that made him. He is powerful, in a business all about money and power. But above all, he has a heart. He has to trust it and his instincts.
This is the first book I have read in this series, so I had nothing to base this book off of. It seemed like there was a lot going on in this short story, but I assume it will make more sense after I read more of the series. Do not get me wrong though, this seemed like a great way to introduce us to Denim and see how he became who he is. He is not untouchable, and this book reflects this perfectly. It is well written and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Denim seemed like an interesting character and I cannot wait to see more of him in the next book. There is plenty going on in this book, you will not be able to put it down and be disappointed when you come to the the end too quickly.

Choppy and Poorly Done
This is supposed to be a prelude to the Elegant Series and this is the first of that series that I have read. It is very choppy. It gives the surface story of how Denim meets some people and even less than that for others. It gives the surface story of his family, businesses and personal ethics. It stops right in the middle of him meeting a new person. At first, it read like a short story with little detail. Then, it read like a synopsis of something the reader should have already read. Finally, it turned out to be a quickly written overview of the past. I am not intrigued with this story line. I have trouble looking past a person’s evil deeds to see his good deeds. The author does not get beneath the skin of any of the characters and most of them seem to be trite caricatures of those we always see in Mafia movies. In short, I won’t be reading this series and will think hard about reading anything else by this author.

I read Elegantly Denim: An Elegant Prelude (Elegant Series- Prequel) before reading the series and perhaps I should have read it AFTER I read the series. I will come back and update this review after I read the full series.
This prelude was a bit confusing. There are many characters introduced, but there is no explanation why everyone is running around all willy nilly. I THINK I understand where the author was going with some of the characters, I assume they are introduced in depth in the series, but it was just confusing as to where they went. There was a lot of detail about them and then *poof* nothing. It has definitely peeked my interest though and I will be checking out the series.
I can't tell if the protagonist is a good guy or a bad guy. What are his motivations? What's with his whining brother? What's with that random gal calling out of the blue? Why is his mother the way she is? I have questions...

Elegantly Denim: An Elegant Prelude is the prequel to the Elegant series by Tee Smith. This is a novella, which makes it a very quick and easy read. This is my first read by Ms. Smith, and even though there wasn’t a ‘lot’ happening in this story due to it being a novella, it does lay the foundations for the rest of the series and has intrigued me enough to want to read the next instalment/s.
Denim Gargliano is a bit of an enigma, but as the story unfolds, we get a glimpse of the man behind the rumours and reputation. What I saw, I really liked. He has been thrust into the world his father built and Denim is making his way through it as best he can, on his terms. The illegal operations hiding behind legitimate businesses. We are drawn into Denim’s world and experience it alongside him. The ending was particularly interesting as it sets up the next book, and I can’t wait to get my hand on it.

It will have you turning pages to find out what happens next. It is a story that hooked me in from the very beginning and I didn’t want to put it down until I had finished the last page. I enjoyed reading about the character of Denim. He is a successful businessman. He has money and power. Is that enough or does he find himself wanting more? He investigates rumors and also makes deals. Those that he employs are loyal. This is the first book that I have read from this author. It is a short novella, a prelude to the Elegant Series. This story gives us a deeper understanding of the heart and mind of Denim Gargliano. He is making his way through his father’s empire of drugs, violence and power, slowly taking over. Deep down, he truly is a good guy. He wants to help everyone. He has to learn who to trust and know that everyone has a price. Even though the book was short, I think it did a good job of laying the foundation for the rest of the series. The introduction of Lili at the end of the book was a smart move on the author’s part. She has piqued my curiosity to found out who she is and what she will become to Denim. Looking forward to reading the rest of the instalments.

What an interesting character name Denim. This was just a short read so we could get a feel of who Denim was. I really like this character. He is a crime boss's son but he has such a giving and caring soul. He dies what he can for people. You can really tell that he cared for those around him. I don’t know what it is about bad boys that women fall for. We know they’re no good but we just can’t resist them. I feel like Denim is going to be that character that will stay with me for life. We all have book boyfriends and Denim is shaping up to be a good one. He is someone that I wouldn’t want to anger though. The relationship with his brother is so strained. I doesn’t like how outwardly prejudice his mom was. Overall I’m excited to see what way the author takes Denims story.

I have to admit I do like it when authors write prequels to stories especially if the main character is quite complex and we, as readers, get to find out more about them ready for the series to begin. I loved seeing into the mind of Denim and I can tell this is going to be a series that I am going to enjoy. After reading the blurb I think I had a preconceived idea of what Denim was going to be like but I was wrong and I loved that I was!
I found this novella hard to put down and it has definitely got me ready for more from this series! I can’t wait to get to know Denim more – I have a feeling I am going to love him!

Elegantly Denim: An Elegant Prelude by Tee Smith is the prequel to her new Elegant Series and what a great start to this series. This is a shorter story, novella length, which made this a quickie read for a rainy day. Following the story of Denim Gargliano, you get a taste of the man behind the family. He is definitely an enigma, but the more that you get to read into his story the more that his façade is all for the reputation and not a true depiction of the man himself. While this was just a taste of a story I can’t wait to read more of Denim. Smith is a new to me author, but I am glad that I picked this story up. I can’t wait to see where this series goes in the future as this story really wet my appetite for more of her writing style.

Elegantly Denim: An Elegant Prelude (Elegant Series- Prequel) By Tee Smith. This book has me excited for the rest of this series. I really enjoyed getting a bit more inside Denim’s story before starting the rest of the books. This is my first read from this author and I’m ready for more. While this is a short read it had my complete attention and turning that pages as fast as I can to see where the story goes. And now I’m definitely going to go devour the rest of the books available. Can’t wait to see where this series goes and where the author takes readers next. It’s well written and paced nicely with characters I’m really enjoying so far. I’m giving this book a four star review.

Elegantly Denim: An Elegant Prelude by Tee Smith is the prequel to the Elegant series. I have had this book in my Kindle for a while now and just got the opportunity to read it and I'm so glad I did. I was a little turned off at first by Denim, but it didn't take long to find the good in him and start to like him a lot.
Though he is in the family business, I really feel he is better than that, think he has just started to show it. I'm hoping to see him pull away from the family business and find his happiness.
Hope there is more of Wombat in the next book too, there was just something about him that stuck out to me.

Elegantly Denim: An Elegant Prelude is the prequel to the Elegant series by Tee Smith. This is the first book I have read by Tee Smith and I’m looking to reading the rest of this series and more. This book took me by surprise, it was fast paced with witty dialog, but also a dark side to it. I loved the mix of emotions this book brought and left me wanting to know more about all the characters introduced in this short story. Denim is a most interesting guy, that I want to learn more about him. This story is just the beginning to what I’m sure is going to be a very interesting story. I can’t wait to see what happens next.

Elegantly Denim: An Elegant Prelude ( Elegant Series-Prequel) by Tee Smith. This is the first book I've read by this author and I loved it. It was a quick read, very fast paced and interesting. I can't wait to read more in this series. This is the story of Denim Gargliano who is working his way up in his fathers business of drugs, violence & Power. Denim becomes very good at this business with one problem, he has a heart and that doesn't mix well in this business. He's trying to determine who he can trust and where to place his loyalties. Lily is introduced at the very end of the book and will be a great distraction for Denim. I highly recommend this great read!

Elegantly Denim: An Elegant Prelude (Elegant Series – Prequel) by Tee Smith is a contemporary romance story with a little mystery and suspense. I enjoy reading prequels as they flesh out and give you more insight to the characters and what makes them tick. Denim, our main character, is a complex and a rich and successful business man who is larger than life and through his nature and compassion those around him become loyal to him. Tee has a story that is a good start to the Elegant Series and I can’t wait to become more acquainted with the man of the hour.

Elegantly Denim: An Elegant Prelude, by Tee Smith, is the introduction to the Elegant series. This contemporary romantic suspense sets the stage for the series in such a fashion that is intriguing. This novella will leave questions of where the series will take the reader, but it provides the peak into where the series will look to start. The character personalities were not fully detailed, but appeared flawed, yet beautifully done. After finishing this prequel, I am now deeply curious to see where this author takes me next through the series.

This was a short prequel to what is looking like a great series to look forward to. I enjoyed the story that displayed two sides of the main character: one is a harsh violent vigilante business man doing illegal things, and the other is a man who goes out of his way to be kind and help others whenever and however he can. I definitely look forward to finding out more about Denim and the people he tries to help. This is a voluntary review of an Advanced Reader Copy of the book.

This is a short story that is a great start to a new series. Denim is learning to find his own way in life. He is a powerful man who has to learn who he can trust and that everyone has a price but somethings can’t be bought with money. He is a character we really don’t get to know that much about, hopefully in future books we will. I enjoyed his character as well as the others and they made the story flow. I highly recommend reading this book, will he find something more valuable than money?

Well this was my first read by this author and while a lot was going on in this quick read that made me feel a little lost, by the end I need to read the series now.
Denim is the oldest son in his family and owns businesses but still feels he's missing something from his life.
We see snippets of things happening that show he is a good person and doesn't like the alterations he finds himself in as the boss.
Quick read, full of information.

Denim is the good bad boy or the bad good boy. He does illegal activities, but goes out of his way to help those in need. Lilijana is the cliffhanger, a total stranger he meets outside an abortion clinic. It is an in depth book, but I don't want to ruin the plot. The thing that really grabbed me is my little girl is named Lilijana and her name has never appeared in print before, it makes me feel all tingly inside. I can't wait to read the next in series.

This short prequel does a good job establishing the foundation of this series’s main character and the author’s writing style. For me it felt like a quick snapshot, almost a teaser, of what is to come. I think it does a good job drawing the reader’s interest so they continue the series. A good story and interesting beginning.
