Contains Who’s Your Daddy?, Kneel, Mr. President, and The Best Laid Plans. These full-length novels were previously published and are available individually.
I feel like I should review each story separately.
I thoroughly enjoyed the first story. It’s about a woman who gets pregnant from her two male friends who are bisexual. It was a solid book and the characters were well created. The sex scenes were good.
The second book wasn’t my cup of tea. It was about the president of the USA falling in love with his body guard and his wife accepting and falling in love with him too. It also included some dominatrix type stuff. The domme stuff didn’t bother me. The story didn’t feel like it could really happen, and not in the vampire/magic sort of way, but in a “the people of the US would find out and possibly revolt” kind of way. Sex scenes were still good and the characters were well developed.
Third story was about a women with gay friends who finds herself wanting to be a surrogate for the men. This story was just okay. I’m a little sad with the ending. Good sex scenes.
While all the sex scenes were good, I felt like all the books existed only for the sex scenes. I like the stories that often have more substance that these seemed to have. It’s hard to explain, but I felt like if a scene didn’t have sex, then it was cut short.
Overall, the books are good if you’re looking for something to pass the time. They aren’t the type of “I can’t put these down!” type of books. Read them if you want. Happy reading y’all!
I don't know what what I was expecting, but I know I didn't get that and I’m happy.
Maybe the first one came the closest to what I might have expected, but it ended on one of the notes they all shared. Not happy ever after, but happy for now. I won't say happy ending since it is made abundantly clear that the ending of the story wasn’t the end of their lives and that hardships were not an impossibility, if not expected, along the road that they were traveling.
These triads came about in different ways for different reasons and involved different types of people.
Just the different jobs that spanned all three stories was a ride for me since I’ve kind of just come off a few series and was locked into one aspect of a world for a long time. But it also showed of the writer's range.
No one was completely perfect when their story started and no one was at the end of the story, but the members of the new triad we're a little happier.

Kneel, Mr. President – This is a best friends to lovers and an enemies to lovers all at the same time, and it is glorious. Happy Reading! The Best Laid Plans – This is taking the work husband/work wife thing to its furthest extreme, and it’s funny! Happy Reading!
Triple Play: Three BisexualMénage Romances by Lauren Gallagher. I had already read and loved Kneel, Mr. President when I found this book. So I took a chance on the other two stories. LOVED THEM ALL! The other two stories are Who’s Your Daddy and Best Laid Plans.
I only read the first story, "Who’s Your Daddy?" It really was really quite good. The other two I apparently own but don't remember purchasing and I haven't read them? Oops. I may update with reviews for the second and third story.
This story is told from all 3 different points of view, and it's quite a story to tell.
The story starts about 6 weeks after three good friends decide to celebrate Carmen’s divorce by having a threesome. It begins when she finds out she’s pregnant with one of her two best friends. She’s not yet on her feet after becoming divorced, and she doesn’t want to cause her friends problems in their own relationship, either. Despite everything, though, they’re very supportive. In fact, they decide that since they did have a good time, there’s no reason not to continue their relationship with the three of them as long as they’re all having a great time.
I love their sense of humor… All three are quite sarcastic, & the teasing is great to see. It shows a real confidence in their relationship with one another.
One big problem is how to tell their respective families. Issac’s mother? Wow… Amazing, especially in comparison with their other parents.
I especially liked how Ryan (Donavan's son) also ended up included in the story. This was quite realistic, especially with how he acted out with regards to the whole situation. Their conversation towards the end was really interesting to watch unfold.
It’s really nice the way their friends with benefits situation slowly becomes something more. <3
Another good story from this author!
~ 2. Kneel, Mr. President,
Right from the first chapter this book grabs you & explains the why... Why would Carlene, the wife of the president, not just allow but ask an ex lover to help her husband in whatever way he sees fit, even if it is in the privacy of the bedroom?
The how is answered later, after much discussion and hesitation... & Carlene won’t be left out of the solution as she might have thought...
Can Carlene be what her husband needs to her to be? What about Kent? He has feelings, too, & is this fair to him in the long run?
When things come to a head.... James describes his feelings as follows: “Part of him couldn’t deny the simmering resentment between him and Kent precisely matched the width of her (Carlene’s) shoulders...” Oh my... Such a well written book!!!
Another great book from this author! Love, love, love this author! Worth reading!
~ 3. The Best Laid Plans
A sweet story about 2 people (Gabe & Shahid) who are trying to adopt a baby but keep on being refused either because they are gay or because Shahid is Muslim. Kendra decides to offer her help to carry a child. Gabe is bi, so they decide to accept her offer to become a sort of friend with benefits naturally (instead of through IVF).
This situation could have easily pushed Gabe & Shahid apart, despite how they both agreed it was the best solution. However, in order to help avoid this, Shahid decides to take a more active role in helping with the baby’s conception.
This books is about a relationship between a hetero woman with two married men, one bi, one gay... & it should be a complicated relationship, but really, it's just a simple one, lovingly simple...
They’re all just friends with benefits…. or really, friends with baby benefits.
That’s all they are… or is it?
Worth being read, another great story by this author. :)
