Walt Disney has been an icon for many years and there are lots of things that people don't know about him. Any child would be able to connect to this book because Disney is famous all over the world. You would be hard pressed to find a child that didn't have a favorite Disney movie or watched something on the Disney channel. This book would interest children simply based on the subject, yet Kramer did a very good job at keeping it interesting and not dry.

We learn about Disney’s inspirations along with people who supported and pushed him. We also learn all about his journey to fame and fortune and how all his business came to be what they are today. The author did a great job of telling the story of Walt Disney. There is a table of contents in the book that helps young readers identify which pages correlate to which specific section of the book they are interested in reading about. The author also included fun facts, a vocabulary glossary, and a quiz at the end of the book. This is a wonderful book for strong, fluent readers who are in 3rd through 4th grade. I enjoyed the book because it gave the life story of an iconic man who started with little and made literal worlds with his success. I found it interesting that the book contained the glossary to help children learn new words that they may not be familiar with!
