Cuffed: Book One

Rate this book
Kidnapped in the middle of the night, 26 year old Demi Ramora is terrified, confused and slightly amused by her two handsome captors who have taken her for money but end up with far more than they've bargained for. Besides, a pair of handcuffs never hurt her. Brandon and Adam just wanted to make a quick buck, and kidnapping a widows daughter while her mother is away on holiday sounds like a breeze. But when her mother doesn't return in time from her vacation, hours turn into days, and Brandon and Adam struggle to keep up appearances with day jobs and scheduling... sexual tension begins to build as sparks fly between Adam and Demi.

My name is Carissa McIntyre, also known as Lady Mack, and I am an author and mother from Ontario Canada.
I have wanted to be a writer my entire life, but it wasn't until spring of 2017 when I was 31 years old that I self published my first full erotica novel, Cuffed.
Very shortly after, I left a toxic relationship and found myself homeless with 3+1 children.
I used writing to change my life, for myself, and for my children.
I built a business around what I do, and I kept pushing forward.
I am now working on self publishing my 6th erotica novel. I also write erotica blogs, toy reviews for adult stores, host workshops and do public speaking events.
I believe you can do anything, but you have to hustle for it, and believe in it like it's a wild burning passion inside of you, never stopping.
Thank you for reading this, and being a part of my journey friends! Feel free to follow me on social media!!
Happy reading!!

This one had me really conflicted. I want to rate it 3.5, but since that's not an option I'm going to round it up to 4. I don't like the writing style if I'm being honest, especially the bouncing between characters in chapters that's what bugged me the most. I also felt like it dragged on. But the storyline was REALLY good and while the spicy scenes were WAY too short, they were pretty good too. I'd still recommend the book, and I'm excited to see what the author does in the future especially if the spicy scenes get longer

It’s between a 3 and 3.5

I can tell what the author was trying to accomplish and I really like Demi. I enjoy inner monologues and getting to hear from different perspectives is great! I’m not a fan of how we jumped from character to character. I feel that we could have had a little more time with Demi’s perspective before jumping to the other two. Overall, I cannot wait to dive into book 2!

So far I am only on chapter 9. I would tell what page that is, but apparently my 3rd edition has no page numbers. The author and I had a good laugh over it. :)

I like it so far, but it is only building up slowly to the big "climax" (literally hehe)!

This usually isn’t a genre of book that I would buy or read but the fact of the matter is my friend wrote this book so of course I am Going to support her. I literally read the entire book in less than a day and now I need to know what happens next. I’m hooked

A bit hard to get into. Just my personal opinion. Going back and forth between characters in each chapter made that a bit hard. Over all it was an okay read.

So it's a 3.5 to me rounded up. I just for some reason keep repeating in my head why. I usually fly right thru books, but for this one I just couldn't, I still have to see what's in book 2 tho.
