I really enjoyed this book. It's only a good way into the book that one realizes how things are dotting together, an intriguing interweaving of lives in different time periods. Jake's character is that of a slightly lost teenager, missing his father, and with only one real friend. The mysterious quarry and the strange stone he found are the focus of this adventure. Look forward to the next episode!
An excellent story, well written and engaging, full of thrilling action. Highly recommended reading! NB I received a complimentary copy of this book, but I always give an HONEST review
