Unbiased Review

While I like the storyline of this series there is little else good t say about it.
The writing is immature at best, though the author does get a little better with each book. Except for the tepid and gratuitous sex scenes these books seem to have been written by an eighth grader.
The spacing format is annoying, borderline unreadable.
I got thru half of book three with a great deal of effort not to delete the entire mess. For the first time in my life I skipped a head to see who won the challenge.
I wish I had downloaded a sample of these books before purchasing. Lesson learned.
I will be checking new releases to see if the writing improves, but I will not be buying anymore of this author's work without reading samples first.

Fairly decent

Decent storyline. Shifter stories have always been entertaining. Following the stories of the shifters that were exiled, because of a ruthless and murderous leader, until he is finally taken down in battle was a great serial storyline. I really enjoy having several books of the series all in one volume. The second series on the witches was a bit different than the usual witch stories, more devoted to academia then to magic itself, and some hard rules regarding having any kind of personal life.
I do feel however that a better proofreading could have been done, as several errors were missed.

The first book was okay it was not original whatsoever if you're looking for a dragon romance or adventure there's very little of both apparently the series is set up in different couples or whatever I don't know it's very hard to follow. I had a lot of trouble staying focused it it just did not hold my attention very well… A rather generic story in the first book and I will tell the truth I'm probably not make any through the second book because I don't know if the dialogue with the it just seems very "done" it's just not for me. If your of soap Opera fan you might find it interesting. I am glad that the purchase was made through Kendall Unlimited and therefore I can return it if I had actually spent even a dollar I would be probably a little more annoyed. I think the problem is other than the one sex scene it is written like a story would find an elementary school library. In my opinion, the plots aren't too bad it's just not what I'm looking for is an adult looking for a dragon adventure/romance type book.

Only one reason I have it four stars

The reason I gave this 4 stars was because I adored the bonus story The Missing Queen. The actual stories of the dragons were juvenile at best. Poorly fleshed out characters, totally unreal love stories. Love at first site type that weren't believable. I felt like it was written by a romantic 16 year old. I almost didn't read it once I finished the series and got to the bonus book. I figured it would be more of the same. I was pleasantly surprised. I would recommend this book for that story alone. The characters felt real and were engaging and the story was interesting. I hate to give bad reviews do I glad I was able to at least say something good.

At first this series confused me. The writer stuck a random book about dragon shifters in the beginning of this book set that had nothing to do with the Exiled Dragons series. It was a pretty good story (even if the editing was horrible). The actual Exiled Dragons stories are pretty good. I think I would have liked the author to stick to the story. There were times that I felt she should have spent more time writing a scene than she did. Some of the love and action parts of this felt rushed and didn't get a good description.
But as a story, as a whole, it was entertaining and quite funny in parts. I was commenting to my husband that Thomas and Kara are the fictional us. Their conversations are conversations we have had and teasing we have done.

Another Sarah Stone series to love

An evil murderous dragon is the ruler of their clan. Anyone who doesn't do exactly what he wants is exiled or worse. This box set includes the adventures and love stories of several dragons who have either been exiled or have had to hide away to keep family safe or plot against the leader once they realize how evil he is. There are adventures and romance and lots of neat plot twists and turns. Its a well written box set and the bonus story is pretty awesome too!

I put the books down, unfinished

I only read the prologue, Book 1 and Book 2. Three books of the series were unrelated. The prologue didn't have anything to do with Book 1. From reading only the first chapter, Book 2 was unrelated. Similarly, Book 2 was unrelated. There were typos, missing words, the occasional missing phrase. Pronouns didn't consistently match in gender. Dialogue was stilted and simple. As stated above, I put the books down and am moving pin too other books.

Gorgeous Irish Dragons

Need I say more? Yes? The bundle is the way to go, I couldn't stop reading. Aiden, a tyrannical dragon clean leader leads with fear, and has, ever since the head of the McCord family died mysteriously. Each book finds someone exiled, and someone finds their mate. Each one bills on the previous one, but their are definitely twists and turns. Wonderful group of boys, and their is more after these!

Some good, some bad

My main complaint is that books should really be proofread and edited before being published, even if only online. There were so many errors with respect to spelling and grammar and even content, which were distracting.
At some point these books are purely formulaic with every story having a similar flow.
That being said Cassie's story was fairly interesting and nicely developed.

Trite

Undeveloped world, one dimensional characters, boring plot lines and trite dialogue. There were grammar issues every other paragraph and the misused words combined with flat out missing words were extremely annoying. Definitely not worth the time spent reading and this author goes on my "Do Not Read" list.

I loved the feeling of doing whatever to protect home.
They aligned with people they never thought possible, change centuries of tradition, and learned of a devastating secret.
Just a very great read. All folks who enjoy shifters in love will enjoy this box set.

This is in the very very bad category.
It's about dragons, so can it really be that bad? Yes.
I wanted to carve my eyes out by the end of the third chapter of the first book. That bad. I tryed to keep going since I paid for it, but had to surrender before puking.

How do you read a book

That has 12 lines per page? That's less than 100 words a page. I couldn't get enough of a rhythm to continue the continuity from one page to the next. Too much trouble to keep at it.

Exiled dragons

Liked this book very much. My only objection is the title is Dragons and half the book is about magic and not dragons. I liked the magic books, only should have been in the description.

What's with the Witch books?

Not that the witch books included weren't a good read but they had nothing to do with the series I thought I bought and I was confused.
