She hates him because the big oaf knocked her up with his kid.
He likes her because she's carrying his child.

She hates the way he gets inside her head.

Hate 2 Lovers by K. Webster is the second book in the 2 Lovers series by K. Webster and J. D. Hollyfield. K. Webster is one of my favorite authors, but I have never read anything by J. D. Hollyfield before this. I’m going to have to change that, because I love her writing style. The story is told in dual point of view, and each author writes from the perspective of one of the main characters. I could tell which part K. Webster wrote, but if I wasn’t borderline obsessed with her, I probably wouldn’t have known. Haha! In my opinion, these two authors pair together perfectly.

I wasn’t able to read the first book in the series before I read this one, but I will definitely be going back and reading it now. I would recommend that anyone that wants to read this read Text 2 Lovers first. Yes, I was still able to enjoy this story, but I felt like I would have enjoyed it even more had I read the previous installment.

Andie and Roman start out as fuck buddies. Andie claims not to be able to stand Roman otherwise, and her favorite words to him seem to be, “I hate you.” Their relationship was just supposed to be purely physical, but then, something happens that changes everything. Andie gets pregnant with Roman’s baby. How will this affect their relationship? Will they be able to have something more than a physical arrangement when they can barely have conversation that doesn’t turn into a fight?

First, I want to be completely honest and say that when I first started reading this book, I thought I wasn’t going to like it. The reason being is the heroine drove me nuts. She was completely over the top irrational, and she behaved like a child the majority of the time. The fact that she physically assaults the hero repeatedly just made things worse. Usually if I dislike the heroine, I can’t enjoy the story. Luckily, that wasn’t the case here. Andie has insecurities brought on by her absentee father that explain why she is the way she is. I don’t think that completely excuses her behavior, but it allowed me to understand her better. I felt for her which made me not want to drop kick her as much. When she allowed herself to be vulnerable, it was a beautiful thing, and it helped show just how much she actually cared for Roman.

Roman is an amazing hero, and Andie is incredibly lucky to have him. She is totally batshit most of the time, but he loves her anyway. The man has the patience of a saint as far as I’m concerned. He deserves an award for putting up with her with her ass! What made me really fall in love with Roman though was the way he reacted to being a father. He traded in a car he loved to get something that would be better for Andie and the baby as soon as he heard the news. Then, he starts buying everything the baby or Andie might need in existence, and educates himself by reading as much as he can about pregnancy and babies. I swooned over this man more than a time or two! His devotion to his child and making Andie feel secure in their relationship was truly touching.

Hate 2 Lovers is a well written, sexy, and entertaining read! The romance is passionate and sweet. The characters have great banter and sexual chemistry, and the story is funny and heartwarming. (The scene where Andie goes into labor had me laughing out loud!) I can’t wait for the next book! Andie’s brother, Linc, intrigues me, and I am dying to find out more about him! If you are looking for something that will make you laugh and touch your heart, this one is for you!

We’re two stars on a collision course for each other. There is no orbiting around one another like some sweet love story. Our story is different. Our story is explosive. Our story is chaotic. Our story is my favorite.

This series is funny, steamy, and utterly addictive! Each book is about a different couple but they all make up one crazy and wonderful family, so there is no way you cannot read this series in its entirety! I knew from the wildly hysterical scenes between Roman and Andie in book one, that this book was going to possibly become my favorite in the 2 Lovers series and I was not disappointed in the least. This couple’s relationship is extremely volatile but their sexual chemistry is off the charts HAWT, which made this one hell of a fun and unputdownable read for me! I hope that K. Webster and J.D. Hollyfield will continue to work on projects together for many years to come.

Andie has just dropped a major bomb on Roman by blurting out that she’s pregnant. Up until that moment, their relationship had been strictly sexual – this being more of Andie’s doing than Roman. Andie is a spitfire and as prickly as a porcupine. She’s not an easy woman to love because of the impenetrable wall she’s built to protect her heart. Her father abandoned Andie and her mother when they needed him the most and for years he made no attempt to reach out to them. When her mother died, Andie vowed that she would never give her trust and heart to a man, like her mother had. She saw the devastation that her father caused and does not want history to repeat itself. This pregnancy is not something she ever dreamed of for her future but slowly the promise of a happily ever after is starting to become something Andie hopes for.

Roman is EVERYTHING in this book! This man was absolutely PERFECT for Andie. He was sweet, patient and oh so very sexy. His only mission in life seemed to be to make Andie happy. Roman knew exactly how to handle her crazy mood swings because he realized that deep down, she loved him as much as he loved her and that her abrasive personality was just a protective mechanism. I ate up every moment that this man graced the pages of this book. He honestly could do no wrong in my eyes. I adored how hard he fought to win Andie’s heart and how it was effortless for him to make her his number one priority over everything else in his life. Not only was he extremely sexy but he was the one who brought upon most of the comic relief and a man who is inherently funny is beyond swoon worthy in my opinion!

➦After reading the first book in the series I was really curious about how these two authors were going to pull this one off. We did, after all, become very acquainted with this couple in the first installment and it felt like a good part of their story was already told.

➦I thoroughly enjoyed the good writing and sometimes over the top humor. And, I mean, over the top it was in so many ways. I don't think any guy would particularly enjoy being repeatedly kicked in the shin, or whatever this heroine was doing to him.

➦The closer the book got to the end the more emotional it was trying to be and the plot device used at the end gave me a flashback to 50 shades. I can't say I didn't see it coming from miles away. It was all a bit very predictable, albeit told in an expertly way. Overall, enjoyable read with a hate/love relationship between an expecting couple. So expect a lot of humor about pregnancies and babies!

I've been waiting for this story since I finished reading Text 2 Lovers (which I really enjoyed!). I fell in love with the banter and the hate/love relationship between Andie and Roman from the beginning and now that it was time to read their story, I am so happy to say it was even better than I expected it to be!

Hate 2 Lovers is the second installment of the 2 Lovers series, co-written by K. Webster and J.D. Hollyfield. As I said, this book focuses on Andie (Dani's BFF) and Roman (Ram's older brother) who apparently hate each other but still have a strong pull towards each other. This pull gets quite complicated (and amazing!) when the heroine discovers she is pregnant. Get ready to discover a new side of Andie and Roman, guys!

I am not only pregnant. I am possessed.
He possessed me.
Fucking Roman.

Sorry, Andie, but when it comes to having you, I’m no longer playing fair. I’m playing for fucking keeps.

I enjoyed the heck out of this funny, sexy and emotional love story. I loved Roman (he is so sweet and so HOT!) and Andie (this bitchy woman has a sweet side!) and their relationship. I loved how the authors have mantained the funny/sexy chemistry that we saw in Text 2 Lovers and I REALLY loved how they have introduced a more emotional side in this book too.

I’m fucking obsessed with her.
And I hope to God the feeling is mutual.

Obviously, having a couple who gives the best banter and also have extra steamy chemistry always does the trick for me but what was even better for me was seeing why Andie is the way she is. In Hate 2 Lovers we do not only see bitchy Andie, we see a very heartfelt heroine who is afraid to love. A heroine who is afraid because she is having a child and is not sure how things will work out. But let me tell you guys, Roman is the best at calming Andie. Roman is such an awesome book boyfriend, and I loved him to pieces because he is just that great at loving Andie!

“Thank you, Roman Holloway,” I say softly as I watch his eyes blink in slight confusion.
“What are you thanking me for, sweet girl?”
“For being the best thing that has happened to me.”

Therefore, that's why I am rating Hate 2 Lovers with 5 STARS because I loved this romantic comedy that is full of sexy and emotional scenes! Those are always my favorites ;) And can I say.. after that teaser at the end.. I cannot wait for Thieves 2 Lovers, it sounds so good! Definitely recommending this one!

5 "Goddamn Those Tits" stars!!

Going into this book I tried to keep an open mind. The thing is I really didn't like Andie in Text 2 Lovers. And when I say I didn't like her, I really mean I hated her guts. Throat-punch and kick to the face hated her.

To be honest, she made it kinda easy to hate her at the start of this book too. I don't know what exactly it is about this character that completely drives me up the wall, but she's really freaking good at it. Incredibly skilled at pissing me the feck off!!

So imagine my surprise when I found myself in love with Andie. WTH???!!! I know!! The authors did an amazing job of delivering a story that was true to its title. So yeah, I ended up loving her and came to appreciate the complicated layers of her character. Once I understood why she was so damn extra, it became easy to excuse her behavior. The fact that she was obviously in love with Roman was also a huge help.

And Roman... I couldn't imagine any way to make him better. The authors created such an awesome character with him. I loved him from the start and this book only made me love him more. With Andie, he had the patience of a saint and I'm glad he understood her even when I didn't. I'm so happy he was getting all he that he didn't even know he wanted. He definitely deserved it.

I'm super excited to read Linc's story in Thieves 2 Lovers. I loved meeting him in this book, but it was clear to me that his still waters run deep and I can't wait to discover every one of his secrets.

descriptionI like this cover. It is certainly better than book ones cover. Good representation of the story. Fairy good composition. Nice typography. I would have liked to seen the byline underneath the author's names since the placement of it throws off the whole composition a bit. Overall though it's a well-done cover.description

descriptionI enjoyed this one. Not as much as the first one mostly because I could NOT stand Andie in the least. I honestly almost threw in the towel after the first few chapters because she was just SOOO f-ing crazy. And can we please STOP writing about heroines physically attacking other people like it's some "HaHa look how feisty she is" thing. I hardly think anyone would think it appropriate if Roman hauled off and punched Andie because he was mad!

description

That said as the book went on she mellowed (for the most part) there were still moments where I felt someone should have called her on her OTT psycho behavior and not humored her but Roman was the star of this one, so I kept reading for him.

Overall it wasn't bad and it had some laugh out loud moments. It was well written and nicely paced. I'm looking forward to the next book in the series.description

DNF at 25%.

Andie really pissed me off. She gets irrationally angry at Roman and lashes out on him all the freaking time. Someone needs to nominate Roman into sainthood with the amount of patience he has for her bullsh*t.

And one more thing. IF IT'S WRONG FOR A GUY TO HIT A GIRL, IT'S WRONG FOR A GIRL TO HIT A GUY. It's a two-way street, people. Regardless of your gender or background, if you constantly hit or hurl mean and hurtful words to someone, you're an abusive person. I don't care if you're good-looking, great in bed, or had a rough past. Nothing will excuse you from being a d*ck if you abuse others.

I couldn't stomach the heroine's attitude and her abusive tendencies, so it's a no-go for me. Sorry.

Andie’s father has abandoned her as a child and her mother has died slowly in front of her as a teenager.

"I am a driven, tough-as-nails, ball-busting woman. A chick with a guy’s nickname and the mouth of a sailor. And a thirst for physical violence when I’m pissed. I’m unbreakable."

Now, she is pregnant with Roman’s child and she is sooo angry at him! Albeit she is always angry!! She has a problem: insecurity. Because of her father.

"You left me! How did you think that would affect me? Mom? I live with your choices every single day! The insecurities, the loneliness, the sadness because I watched my mother, your wife, die of a broken heart. How do I get over that?"

Because of her insecurity, she can’t let him in! she can’t lose herself completely in his love. She is afraid to trust him. she is afraid he will break her heart.

Okay, these two characters are so adorable. Of course if I have a friend like Andie in real life, probably I would throttle her or cut her tongue! In real life she would be on my nerves but this is fiction and I really enjoyed her character. She is a feisty woman! Now I’m wondering in real life a pregnant woman really eats that much?!?! And let me tell you when she was eating something in the book, I got hungry!! Roman, I loved his character. I liked how he understood Andie’s insecurity and at some point, he tried to assure her that he’s not like her father. How he was protective of her. I liked with all the things Andie did, he didn’t tire of her and didn’t stop loving her!

You can tell these two authors are having a blast writing together, because it definitely translated into the story. Never a dull moment between Andie and Roman, these two crazy characters fight hard, but loved even harder. And I simply loved this book!!!

We know from reading the first book that Andie and Roman had been having delicious hate sex on the regular, and that now Andie is pregnant. These two love to hate each other, so imagine the chaos when they find out they are having a baby together. On top of all the confusion Andie's already crazy personality becomes over the top, thanks to the pregnancy hormones.

As much as these two want to try to deny it, they really, really do like each other. Roman being slightly saner than Andie, is now determined to show her how good they can be together. Roman is scared but also excited about having a family with Andie. But it will definitely be a challenge to get Andie on board with his idea.

I must admit that at the beginning of the of the story I was a bit turned off by Andie's crazy behavior, but after learning her reasons for acting in such ways my heart softened for her.

The whole gang from the previous book is back, complementing this story even more, and making this series a favorite of mine. Tons of laughs and fantastic writing style, made this book a total winner.

This is a really fun, angry lovers to happy lovers romance... is that a thing? I think K & JD just made it a thing. Andie & Roman have had hot pants for each other since book one, Text 2 Lovers. That had little moments in that book that made you say, "hmm I wonder what will happen with those two." Well this book, Hate 2 Lovers, is what happens when people who are hot in the pants for each other have to figure out how to be hot in the heart as well.

What I will say is that Andie is like a pistachio. She's an acquired taste. There's no real in between. You either love her or you can't freaking stand her. I happen to like pistachios for their unique and salty flavor. Roman, the swoony hunk of motherfucker that he is, also enjoys pistachios. Actually I'm inclined to say that he LOVES pistachios, so much so that he wants to spend the rest of his life with pistachios even if pistachios is very very resistant. He wants to make babies with pistachios and marry them. Sure he and pistachios have a ton of shit to work out, but it could happen right. Roman can get a HEA with pistachios?

Anyway we get little moments of Dani & Ram in this book. We get some time with Reagan, Rom&Ram's little sister, and I love her mellow vibe she adds to the bunch. We meet some new people who make things entertaining for this pair. We have some emotional moments, there are some swoony moments, there are some hilarious moments, and of course there are steamy naughty bits. Highly recommend this to anyone who is looking for a quick romcom.

Ok so this review kind of sucks, but read it to see if Roman gets his HEA with a bag of pistachios. (Pistachios are literally never mentioned in this story.)

Warning: Contains pregnant woman who is fierce af.
Talk about surprise when Andie found out that she is pregnant and self-concluded that Roman doesn't want anything to do with it. She was not ready and definitely not planning to have a kid. Looking back to what her father did, Andie swore off men and built a wall to protect her heart from the likes of her father, until Roman came.

Roman is sweet af, and the moment he knew he was going to be a father he went crazy at first, but then he was tipsy happy most of the time. He wanted to be the man Andie's father wasn't cause he knew she deserves better.

There were times that Andie was infuriating, accusing Roman of cheating on her and mostly being a bitch all the time. Roman never gave up though, he was patient and understanding coming from what Andie had gone through with her father.

I am sorry to say this but I loved the blip in their story. The complication sometimes is the part where I really wanted to skip and jump off where they'll ride unto the sunset and life HEA.
But this one is different, for me it was the time they knew they wanted each other and they love one another.

Andie is a spitfire ready to tackle anyone who goes her way and it's funny as hell, their love story is amusing and I wouldn't want to change a thing.

It is best if you’ve read Text 2 Lovers first because you’ll understand the dynamic of Andie and Roman better and you don’t want to miss out on all the laughs from book one.

Up next is Raegan and Linc's story so hang on to your seats and watch out for it!!

Fuck me.. the h was...

I thought the story might still be consolable but she just ruined the whole book. It is a romance so we are mainly reliant on the MC's for the success of the plot and story..

I am sure we were supposed to view her as this roughened-exterior-but-marshmallow-inside-goddess.. Let's just say her behaviour was not endearing in the least
But all I saw was an annoying bitch who railed on her close ones to make herself feel better. I have no idea why the H put up with her... I am beyond words.

ANYWAYSSS..
I want the next book!! The MC's seem delicious!!

Andie annoyed the hell out of me at the beginning and I almost DNF'd. I hate people who punch first then ask questions later. She was always on the edge. Poor Roman, I really felt sorry for him.
But I persisted because I wanted to meet Andie's brother and the book took a rise after the middle.
Roman and Andie are the kind of couple with an explosive relationship. They are the one's that always shout, throwing things and having angry tantrums and just when you think that they'll kill each other, you see them locked in fierce embraces trying to shallow each other. (Not my cup of tea but whatever....)

This series has proved to have a constant ammount of sexy times, a lot of "your mom is so stupid" jokes, amazing friendships and family relationships and moves in a fast pace.

So far, I like it very much, the authors have done a great job alternating between male and female POVs and I'm actually looking forward to reading the next story but also being sad because it'll end soon.

She claims to hate him, he tries to win her over, but who will give in?

Andie is a hot mess, she's feisty as hell, and she has build so many walls around her heart I'm not sure anyone can break through them.

Roman can't leave Andie alone. Its not just the crazy hot sex that keeps him coming back, but Andie as a whole is what keeps him wanting more, but he'll have to fight harder now that she's pregnant.

Oh boy, this story had me laughing through out the book. Andie and her attitude wow I don't know how Roman put up with it. Roman and his determination to be with Andie and be a family was heart warming.

All and all it was a cute fun read and I can't wait for what's to come next from these two authors writing together.

You would think that having begrudgingly skimmed and struggled through the limp washcloh that was the first book I'd save myself the misery of going through the sequel? Well, you'd think wrongly because I do suffer from the 1001 night OCD syndrome. I require closure for my mental wellbeing. And I'd unwittingly read the last chapter of the first book, so I HAD to see this other one through. Come rain or stone.

This one was so awful that I feel justified about ranting about it. I didn't read the very last chapter so that I'd not be compelled to read the third instalment, and I did skim through a good portion of it but for what it's all worth, here you go:

The undeveloped, unhinged, and cringeworthy character that, not one but the TWO venerable writers have devised as the heroine of this book reads more like the manic fantasies of a schizophrenic patient. I'm mystified that people read this and rate it highly. Who wants to read about such an idiotic, immature, just plain stupid heroine? Is she suffering from some sort of cognitive disorder? Not even suffering through the trauma of being abandoned by her worthless father justifies the extent of her stupidity. And the back ground of their relationship is so underdeveloped that it's only towards the end of the book that one realises the Hero is as stupidly written in his own right as the heroine. If negative stars were made possible in GR I'd give this one minus ten. Enough said.

3.75 stars. I liked it slightly better than the 1st one even though the h was a mean/abusive partner and I normally dislike an “oops baby” trope. Maybe cos I dig masochistic Hs and I respect a h that knows what a bitch she is (as opposed to a h who hides behind a nice facade).

The dynamic duo of K. Webster and J.D. Hollyfield just hit it out of the park with this one!

I adored the first book in the series and as I wrote in my review, Andie and Roman got 5+ stars from me up front. Okay, so saying that before the book was even out may have been a little over the top, but that's how much I liked them in the first book and loved them even more in this second instalment.

We already learned about their casual love/hate relationship in Text 2 Lovers. They sure fought hard and often, but they loved even harder. It was beautiful to read and see their relationship turn into pure love.

Hate 2 Lovers has everything you could possibly want in a book, make sure to put this series on your TBR list if you haven't already!

“His scent calms me. His strength consumes me.”

“We’re two stars on a collision course for each other. There is no orbiting around one another like some sweet love story. Our story is different. Our story is explosive. Our story is chaotic. Our story is my favorite.”

I asked for it, and boy did this duo deliver!!

I fell in love with the writing style of this duo in Text 2 Lovers and couldn’t wait to see if the chemistry between these two writers would continue. Rest assured, these two authors have once again hit it out of the park with Hate 2 Lovers. Hate 2 Lovers is the second book in the 2 Lovers Series, but can totally be read as a stand-alone novel. It is told from dual points of view and is going to take you one entertaining and unforgettable ride!

Hate 2 Lovers starts off with one hilarious and life-altering beginning. This story is fast paced, entertaining as hell, and will have you laughing your ass off. It is going to take your emotions on a roller-coaster ride and there will be moments that will just make you want to scream. I will be the first to admit that Andie drove me batty…Batty in the best way possible! She was all over the place. Loving Roman one minute, wanting to kill him the next. And poor Roman, he didn’t stand a chance with Andie. If Roman was going to be with Andie, he was going to be in for the fight of his life…And what a fight it was!!

Hate 2 Lovers is a fantastic addition to this story. It was well written and incredibly entertaining. I couldn’t put this book down and devoured it in just a few hours. The characters are a lot of fun. They are going to keep you on your toes and have you dying to see what will happen next. And while this story certainly had me laughing like crazy, there is so much more to this story. There is drama. There is suspense. There are unexpected twists. There is passion and romance. There is a love that is worth fighting for. Overall, it was a fantastic read and I can’t wait to see whose story will be next in the 2 Lovers Series!

Hate 2 Lovers picks up right where we left of in Book one, Text 2 Lovers. That being said, it can still be read as a standalone.

Andie and Roman have a love-hate relationship. Roman loves Andie, and Andie hates Roman... or so she thinks. She is convinced they aren't meant for each other, he now they have a permanent tie to each other... she is pregnant with his child.

After developing preconceived notions on love and marriage during her earlier years, Andie covers her soft side with a thick coat of spiteful armor. She is a real firecracker to nearly a ridiculous degree, often flying off the handle without a second thought.

Roman is a man who knows what he wants and how he wants it. He has his head on straight and tries to always do the right thing by those he loves. He is determined to get through Andie's tough exterior and bring out her vulnerable side that he knows lies beneath.

As per the usual Andie's mouth creates much drama and consequence as the story unfolds. She doesn't always think before she reacts and often gets herself riled up unnecessarily. But what happens when she messes with the wrong person? When an outside party becomes a real threat to what is most precious to both her and Roman?

4 "I hate you" stars

Emotional, hot and humorous Hate 2 Lovers is the ideal companion read.

Andie, Would I like her in real life? probobly not. Andie is closed of, a firecracker, hot headed and handle her wrongly and you get burned.

As a character though Andie is funny, entertaining and likeable.

Roman, loved him, hot, smooth and sweet he's like delicious candy & one thing he has in abundance is patience.

Roman knows exactly how to win over his firecracker and his weapon of choice is food.

In Text 2 Lovers Andie is the best friend of Dani and Roman Is the brother of Ram. What starts off as a like-hate hot passionate f-buddy relationship becomes more when Andie discovers she's pregnant.

The challenge begins as Roman plans to break down Andies walls to get to the softer side of Andie he has had glimpses of.

An enjoyable and entertaining read with great character's lots of lol moments told in dual pov's and leads to a hea.

Both Ram and Dani are present in this book and I loved the hint of something happening for Roman's sister and Andie's brother too, giving you a glimpse of another hot entertaining and humorous read to look forward too & I can’t wait I already love the tattoo funny and bad boy vibe of Linc.

Loving this interconnected series. Each book can be read as a standalone.

You know what? I am really enjoying these two authors writing together! This one flows perfectly, you can’t even tell that there are 2 people writing this story.

She hates him because the big oaf knocked her up with his kid.
He likes her because she's carrying his child.

This is the second book in the 2 Lovers series. Andie and Roman’s story. These two are polar opposites! Yet, the more they pull apart, the better the attraction is.

Andie: I hate you.
Roman: I know...but I'm going to change that.

Roman does everything right, Andie fights all the way.
Andie wants to love…Yet her history with the male figures in her life won’t allow her to be loved the way she deserves.

What a great story and ending!!! I Will be waiting for the next one. Their story will be a great one.

I allow you to have everything your way every time we’re together. You storm in and out on me. But this time…” His gaze hardens. “Instead of just reacting, you’re going to explain.”
Fire builds up within me. My brain only knows one way to react. So that’s why I do what I do…I react angrily.
And punch him.

Aaaaaaaand...scene.

Okay. Where do I begin?

Let me start off by saying that I had the best intentions when starting this book. I have read a couple of K. Webster books in the past and I have enjoyed them...although I'd rather not admit to liking her especially raunchy and dark series of books but...whatever.

So, we start off with Andie's perspective. She is a woman. A very angry woman. She's also -bum bum buuuuum- pregnant! That's right folks! Andie gets knocked up by a man she has been fucking for quite some time, whom she also apparently hates.
Now, I'm a true lover of the 'enemies to lovers' trope. I really am. If you check my bookshelves on my profile you'll see that I have shelved over 100 books in this particular trope. Meaning that I personally search for books with this trope as much as I personally can. I admit that I may have a slight addiction. But, whatever!

Anyhow, Andie apparently thinks that after telling the hero that she is pregnant, she doesn't have to explain anything else to him so she runs in the bathroom... um....

The authors though have an explanation for this. She's hormonal cause she's pregnant.
Ok, then.
Afterwards, when said hero tries to talk to her, she punches him.

Cause that's normal.
But whatever, right? Cause as the authors have specifically told us, she's hormonal cause she's pregnant, so that means that it's okay.

Then she leaves and start drinking alcohol with her bestie, after telling the hero that she's not keeping the baby.
That is SUCH a GOOD iDEA. Like, omigod why don't more women do that?? Ya know?

Let me remind you that this has all happened in the first fucking chapter. FIRST. CHAPTER. As in, this is the intro to the characters and their love story.

I just can't. And because I just can't I skimmed the rest of the book, just so I could be absolutely SURE that I would HATE this.
Guess what?...I was right.
The heroine is insecure, whiny and just plain horrible to everyone. She slutshames and antagonizes, she's a pathologically jealous of every and ALL females and she gets into aggressive fights with the hero. But that's okay because she's pregnant (hormones) and she has a troubled past.
Do you hear that?

It's the world's smallest fucking violin.

The hero is basically a little bitch. He allows the heroine to treat him and those around him like dirt. And he thinks it's ok because...she's pregnant. It's okay that she abuses and mistreats him. Andie is a woman. Women can't abuse men.
Apparently hitting, screaming and throwing things makes a woman FIERCE AS FUCK.

Yeah...no. I consider myself a very strong and independent woman. In other words, I'm fierce. Yet, I have never in my LIFE acted like this. I have punched a man, yes. It was in self defense though. So, I think I had every right too. Just saying.

Now, we all know that in the end they get a fucking HEA, cause ofc they would. But honestly, I wish the author would pull a Jewel E. Ann and kill both characters off!!! I would've LOVED that!
I would ADORE IT.

However, that did not happen. 1 star. Not much else to say.
If you want to read about a "love story" between two dumb bitches than go ahead.

I have been (not so) patiently waiting on Hate 2 Lovers since diving in to Text 2 Lovers a couple months back, so when this baby popped up on my kindle, my motivation for all things adult-like was not long for this world.

Kindle charged? Check.
Comfy spot on the bed to read? Check.
Bowl of ice cream? Check.
Laundry done? Meh. Pants are overrated.

It is rare that a book has me laughing out loud at 2% in, but Hate 2 Lovers did exactly that, and the laughs just kept coming.

I just told the successful Roman Holloway he's going to be a dad. And that asshole has the gall to look like he's the one who's fucked?
NEWSFLASH: I'M THE ONE WHO'S FUCKING PREGNANT!

So here's the scoop on Roman and Andie - their relationship consists of some super hot (sometimes hate) sex, which they deny is happening to everyone they know, and well, themselves as well. Because what's the first rule of sex with your best friend's fiance's older brother? You don't talk about sex with your best friend's fiance's older brother. (For the record? It's the worst kept secret (almost typed sexret, which seems legit) in the history of secret sex, BTW.)

Anywho, now our little firecracker (also read crazy pregnant demon lady) is preggers and doing some major freaking out, while Roman (bless his level headed, firecracker loving heart) is being very pragmatic by selling his 2-seater dream car to buy a family vehicle and buying baby books. All together now....*SWOOOOOOON*.

As I'm sure you can guess, Hate 2 Lovers is a push and pull between two lovers who don't hate one another nearly as much as they'd like to think they do. Turns out, they're pretty perfect for one another, and Roman's level-headedness balance's Andie's crazy firecrackerness. (I like to make up words, so sue me.)

"Roman?" I say as I grip at the front of his coat and pull him to me.
"Yes, babe?"
I stand on my toes and brush my lips against his. "I don't hate you."
"I know." And he presses his lips back to mine.

I read Hate 2 Lovers in one sitting, and I laughed from start-to-finish. Add in a side of suspense and a healthy dose of swooning (thanks, Roman!), and Hate 2 Lovers was a total win for me. Three cheers for this dynamic writing duo and their sassy, sarcastic writing style!

Although it's not necessary I would recommend that you read book 1 as it gives you an insight into all the characters in this story.
We pick up where we left off with Andi in the epilogue in all her crazy neurotic craziness, let me just say I love her. Andi is hilarious she's one of those people that just say whatever they are thinking she has no filter at all, I giggle snorted so many times at her she's like a tornado that leaves everyone in shock.
Roman is such a sweetie the way he deals with Andi's outbursts is beautiful to see their relationship is very passionate. They have a very unique way of showing affection the banter between could be misunderstood by some but it works for them.
Another great fun story can't wait for the next one.

Still laughing and smiling non stop after reading this book. I almost peed myself multiple times.

This book is simply hilarious romance with swoon, an Alpha male that's protective and possessive and a chick that is a little on the dramatic side but will have you loving her brand of crazy.

Andie so she is a little border line crazy to begin with if you ask me but thrown in pregnancy hormones and OMFG she's a complete lunatic. Roman he's trying to deal with knowing that he is going to be a father while at the same time having to deal with Andie and her constant moods swings.

I absolutely loved Roman and his patience at times is was SwoonWorthy. There were moments where he absolutely turned a little Alpha towards Andie and DAYUMMM if that wasn't hot.

This book had tons of hilarious drama filled moments that will have you laughing while at the same time saying OMG !!!!! It was also filled with some steamy scenes between Andie and Roman as well as times between them that will capture your heart.

A great read for someone that is wanting a light hearted, yet hilarious Romance filled with a tiny bit of Angst and Swoon Worthy moments.
