Patrice Lajoye is a PhD in History of Comparative Religions (University of Charleroi, Belgium) and the author of several works about Celtic and Slavic mythologies, such as L’Arbre du Monde, la Cosmologie Celte (2017), Perun, Dieu Slave de l’Orage (2015), Fils de l’Orage : un modèle eurasiatique de héros ? (2017), and Mythologie et Religion des Slaves Païens (2022). He is working for the CNRS (the French National Centre for Scientific Research) where he is the editorial secretary of the journal Histoire et Sociétés Rurales. With his wife, Viktoria Lajoye, they have written studies about Russian fantasy and science-fiction literature, as well as translations, anthologies, and novels.
